“We were very impressed with the service provided from the Aberdeen branch. From the initial survey carried out by Scott who obviously comes with a lot of experience, Jackie for organising and clear communication, to the workmen Dave & Costa. Friendly, informative and left the place how it was when they arrived. Would definitely use your company again and will recommend to others.”

“Arrived on time, prepared the site kept noise and dust down to a minimum, lovely group of lads, very polite kept me (the client) informed at every stage of the process. When finished every piece of rubble was removed room cleaned and was neater than before they started. Plasterer came next day again no fuss kept any disruption down to a minimum, again left tidier than we expected. The communication from the office down to the people actually doing the job was first class (and take that as a compliment from someone who spent the last 30 plus years working in corporate communication). Absolutely no complaints and congratulations on a job well planned and executed.”

“We had some damp removed from a few rooms in our home, Richard and Kevin from the Edinburgh branch and Wullie the plasterer did a fantastic job, everything was finished on time and to a high standard. Wouldn't hesitate to call again, would definitely recommend this company.”

“We had some damp work done on a bedroom wall and the whole process was easy from start to finish. The Edinburgh Branch sent Malcolm to survey the damage and he was friendly, knowledgeable and reassuring. The work was then done by Jamie and Ryan who were quick and surprisingly tidy. I expected it to be a messy process, but Jamie and Ryan were professional, really friendly and did an excellent job. Would wholeheartedly recommend Richardson & Starling.”

“Good service, prompt attention given. Good attention to detail and helpfulness. More communication might have been a good idea (we were not informed until after the event that a cement membrane was used rather than the chemical membrane). Malcolm MacKenzie who did the survey was very helpful.”

“Very efficient and friendly service from the start. They responded quickly to my email and an appointment was made to survey the damp patch in our rear living room. Kriss (from the Annan Branch) explained what he had found and the best way of dealing with it. Once we had accepted the quote a starting date was agreed. Evan (from the Carlisle Branch) turned up exactly on time. He also explained what he was going to do and proceeded diligently to carry it out and completed it within the time he anticipated. He cleaned up after himself. Evan himself was very friendly and cheerful”

“From the initial email to R&S during lockdown to Roy's visits and then the restorative work carried out by Malcolm and Michael McCormick we have been very impressed by how courteous, punctual, tidy and pleasant the guys have been. The work has been carried out to a highly professional and efficient standard. Everyone at R&S has been easy to deal with and we thank them for their service.”

“We've had a great experience with the Edinburgh branch of Richardson Starling. They came and installed damp proof course and membrane to 4 of 7 rooms in our flat, and just gave outstanding service. There was more work to do than the survey had anticipated, and more electrics and radiators to come off walls, but their team were able to find members with the necessary skills to immediately solve any issues that arose. John the project manager ensured a smooth procession of tradespeople , so the job was completed within 2 working weeks. I was most grateful at their dust management tactics - working in masks with the doors closed and gaps masking taped over, covering everything in dust sheets and adhesive plastic carpet protector and sweeping up after every day's work. It was still a hard 2 weeks in our wee flat with a baby and cats, but it could have been very much worse. And we've a 30 year guarantee and a much improved home report to show for it. Thank you Richardson Starling, we'll come back for a third time in our next place.”

“Colin J & Daniel P have just finished replacing the floor an joists and treating and replastering a wall after removing the offending faulty cavity insulation in my 80+ year oldmother in laws house. Credit where credits due, these guys are consumate proffesionals. Apart from the new floor and wall you wouldnt know they had been in the house they were so tidy, they started on the dot every morning a 0800 and put my mother in law at her ease. going above and beyond Thankyou so much”
