“I’ve had work done this week by Richardson and starling re a damp issue. The job went very well completed over the agreed timescale by Steve’s team of Scott and Dave and there was no mess with the work contained to one room to access under the floor and fully tidied and restored by the team. Happy to recommend this company based on my experience.”

“I had the experience of Richardson and Starling this week to deal with some damp issue in my walls. They are not a company I was familiar with, However, I would totally reccommend their service. From first contact, they kept me informed the plan of action, made arrangements for workmen to arrive on site, workmen were always on time, very friendly and helpful, found the issue very quickly and resolved the issue, removed old plaster etc from the walls, provided a plumber, reinstated the walls, and re plastered walls. Work was completed in a very professional manner, kept site clean and tidy as they worked away, protective sheeting and floor coverings all provided and was 100% satisfied with tge quality of Service from start to finish and am very satisfied indeed withe the quality of the end product. Just like to thank the team in Dundee for a first class treatment , Steve, Andy, Mike and Bobby, cheers lads I will certainly be reccomending you to other potential customers. Thanks Once Again. “We could not be more happy with the work on our old sash and case windows. Everyone we have dealt with has been great. At every point in the process (initial assessment to final inspection), everyone showed up when they said they would. Communication was also very good. Collin and Zach did an excellent job carrying out the work. They were courteous and clean. Collin was always happy to address concerns and answer any questions we had about the work. The reduction in outside sound and draught has been remarkable. It's like having new windows. We also really appreciated the fact that a manager came to do a final inspection and address any remaining niggles. Based on our experience, we would highly recommend Richardson and Starling.”

“Allan from the Dundee branch, visited us regarding some concerns we had with a possible damp issue. He described in detail what had caused this and offered solutions on how to stop it happening again, putting all our minds at rest. Wouldn't hesitate to call again and highly recommend.”

“Very happy with the work done by the team from the Dundee branch. I was kept up to date with any problems encountered and steps recommended to rectify them. All my furniture was protected and the debris from the job all removed. Very clean and tidy job carried out considering the scope of the job, all floorboards replaced and joists repaired. Well done to operatives Robbie & Scott, supervisor Steven and branch manager Allan. 👍”

“Just had Kevin working in our home. What a great job he has done, despite removing plaster etc you would never know that he had been here. No mess at all, protected our contents. Added to this a nice chap, very easy to talk to. Many thanks fella!”

“I had window draught-proofing and re-plastering done with the Edinburgh branch. Pro's - Robin was friendly - Good quality work once completed Con's - Very high cost - The workers came very early in the morning, without offering any other possible times - The work was carried over 3 short (sometimes just one hour) working days, but could have been completed in 2 days - The plastering covered until about 20cm from the floor, and then skirting was used to cover the uncompleted parts. Not sure if that is routine/normal (see photo). - The replastering was done without discussion or offers about repainting the wall afterwards. I understand that this wasn't included in the agreed arrangements, however it left the wall still looking incomplete and I would have appreciated a warning that I also needed to get a painter in afterwards.”

“This was excellent service, price, completion of the job by Alan Swanson was first class and the place was cleaned perfectly by him when he had finished. Lisa in the Inverness branch was very helpful and efficient with a charming manner. The staff at the Aberdeen office were equally helpful. Recommend this Company to anyone.”

“We have used Richardson & Starling on two occasions in the past for damp patches on the interior walls of our house; this was several years ago and there have been no further problems. The most recent problem we experienced was with wet rot affecting the outside framework of our timber conservatory - this was repaired with resin by Robin (Edinburgh branch) to a surprisingly high standard. The damaged timber has now been restored to its former condition - this guy is a real artist.”
