“Mrs P Wood I was looking on the internet for someone to find me the best annuity quote for my pension pot. I saw the retirement desk and sent them an email and got a reply the same day. I then spoke to Wendy O'Beirne who was very polite and professional. Wendy looked at the whole of the market for me and found a very good deal. “After becoming angry and frustrated at just trying to contact some major companies I came across The Retirement Desk whilst browsing the internet. How I wish I had done so earlier. One phone call answered within seconds in a highly professional manner by an actual person - not a recorded message!!! That person was Kay Martin and I cannot thank her enough for the first class standard of service she has provided. Kay arranged with my existing pension providers to have the funds amalgamated into one new plan keeping me informed on a regular basis both by phone and email. Even more impressive was the fact that her colleague Lisa was able to keep me updated in Kay's absence. In less than six weeks I have received my new documents and first payment. If you are looking for professional, courteous and friendly advice with no sales pressure or fees look no further than this company. Thank you so much ladies.”

“Having been in touch with a number of Annuity companies with regard to my future retirement plans. I was very impressed with the help and advice from Wendy O'Beirne at Retirement Desk. I was kept informed quickly by text, phone or email and if I called the office, got through immediately. Unlike other companies who were forever phoning me to close a deal or offering special deals, much like double glazing firms. “Retirement Desk was recommended by a friend who had also used them. Wendy was patient, but tactfully remained in touch with me at regular intervals, as she knew I had recently lost my husband. She was ready to answer my questions once I was able to focus once again on my pension. My options were made clear for me to make a balanced decision. “I am delighted with the Retirement Desk for procuring a retirement plan that meets my total requirements. Wendy O'Beirne handled my case superbly throughout. After stating my requirements Wendy came up with a couple of options and fully detailed quotations. Questions raised were answered promptly and fully to my satisfaction. I was combining a couple of different pension pots, one of which required additional checking and clarifying which Wendy organised. I was particularly impressed with Wendy's communication with me through e-mails and telephone calls to keep me informed of the progress from start to finish. “Kay Martin dealt with my review and quickly recognized what I was after and suggested a product with LV that I had not come across. This enabled me to drawdown my cash free cash but leave the balance untouched for review at a latter date.Guaranteed future value was offered with total access in the mean time should circumstance's change. The process was quick and easy. I was very pleased with the outcome.”

“Found this company by accident while looking for annuity help on the internet. So pleased that I did. Lisa asked me questions about myself and was then able to give me quotes from several companies and she didn't mind me changing my mind from annuity to drawdown and then if using drawdown I couldn't decide if I wanted some money now or put all of the plans into the drawdown scheme etc. She couldn't give me advice - at the end of the day it was my choice anyway so all the advice in the world would not have helped - but she gave me the figures I needed to help me choose. To me it was a lot of money to just hand over and of course I worried but Lisa allowed me to just take my time and work with the figures she gave me (I'm afraid I asked for quite a few different combinations). I eventually chose a flexible drawdown with some cash up front. It will not last as long as an annuity but at least it is a live on able (sorry can't think of the word I need) amount and I will be able to save the state pension - when I eventually get it. I will admit to checking the company out first by going on the internet and looking up their name on Company House and all other ways I could think of but all is fine and the company is just as it says it is. All the paperwork was done for me and Lisa's pleasant and helpful personality made a stressful time a lot less stressful.”
