“Ordered avocet key and it does not work. Will place order with avocet next time. They did offer to rework the key. Who wants the security risk of keys going backwards and forwards with your home address attached.”

“I'm sorry to have to give only two stars but two things lead me to do so. The first is that I emailed the company immediately after placing the order asking them not to submit my details to Review.co.uk. I did this because it was impossible to place and order without agreeing to have my details shared and I wanted to opt out. I did not get a response until I got an email from Review.co.uk. So clearly they didn't take my request seriously. The second issue is that 7 days after ordering a single key which I was advised was posted on a Sunday a few hours after placing the order the key has not arrived. I'm sure they are great for keys, I hope so, but on this occasion it's somewhat of a shame that they ignored my request and failed to really post the key in a timely fashion. I don't have an issue with Review.co.uk I just wanted to limit the number of people who got my email address as result of placing a simple order.”

“Keys arrived very quick but had excessive burring and would not fit at all without some considerable filing. Not "Plug and Play". OK now but does every customer carry a file, maybe they should include a free tool kit.”

“I ordered two replacement keys by quoting the key number stamped on the original. Price was fair and order was completed quickly The keys arrived nicely packaged and in good condition. However they did NOT FIT the lock. It was frustrating that there was no telephone number to call for advice. I ended up taking the the two replacement keys and the original to a local key cutter and he was able to correct the replacements which now fit.”

“Unfortunately the keys that had been supplied didn't fit. I have therefore returned the keys and await the refund which still has to materialise. It is a great shame that contact details are not given as it could save time and be easier to explain exactly what is required which would possibly save mistakes being made in the first place.”

“I have used replacement keys before and been very happy but these keys don't fit well. It takes a lot jiggling to get them into the lock and once it was locked I had a few heartstopping minutes when I couldn't get the key back in to unlock the cabinet. It puts me off using them!”

“Replacement key arrived in a couple of days from when I placed the order, however the key does not fit, even though the key looks identical to original. Same style same number !”

“It looked pretty much the same and I was so happy to receive it( Mortice key), but it did not work. So, while I think it worth trying, there is no guarantee.”
