“The service is really handy to use. But afterwards I got absolutely hounded by the companies I got quotes through from. 2 or 3 phone calls a day, emails and text messages- every day! In the end I had to block the phone numbers, and reply to emails asking them to stop contacting me.”

“3 responses with a quote,2 really cheap not convinced they could do it for that,3rd about 600,called them in. They more than double the original quote.i can't see how they managed that from the check list I provided. There would have been nothing extra apart from boxes.not sure it's the best way to get quotes”

“This seemed a good idea in theory but I only received two quotes and both were over £100 more than the initial quote from the website. I know it says price may differ but over £100 is quite significant.”

Hi Matt. Sorry you found our quotes expensive. All of our surveyors are RICS Regulated, Chartered Surveyors, with many years of experience and training. I can see how some firms may look like they weren't local - several have head offices further south and employ local surveyors on the ground. We will try to make that clearer in future. Hi Aaron Thanks for your review. The quotes we generate list the conveyancers' fees, plus their disbursements, their expenses and the stamp duty costs. All conveyancers have to add these - or elements of these - so we think it is better for the user to know exactly what is involved from the outset.
