I couldn't have been happier with the service we received. However maybe rethink the free bag for life when the ashes are delivered its not a good look nor will I use that bag. The container with the ashes could be better looks like something cornflakes are kept in caused great distress for my mother.

We have carefully chosen the ashes container for strength and green credentials, as well as a design that can accommodate our unique ceramic identity disc. Every family has the option to send an alternative urn and we are happy to place the ashes in their chosen container prior to return. We had no idea that we would do a pure cremation but upon the sudden death of my father in law it seemed the appropriate thing to do. The staff on the phone were very respectful of our loss and most helpful although we had not arranged a pre paid service. They kept us in touch with proceedings and dates that he would be cremated. The ashes were returned within 14 days, with and arranged time. All in all we were very happy with the service.

My grade would have been 5 stars but for the fact that it was my late wife's wish that she could help MS sufferers by donating her brain stem and spinal cord for research. This was made plain to Purecremation and stressed that she had to be put in cold storage within 4 hours - however her body was not picked up for 10 hours so the removal of body parts was not possible. Apart from this the service I received was first class - i was kept informed at each stage of the process so that was excellent.

Thank you for your kind words and feedback in relation to your Wife’s arrangements with us. While we always do everything we can to accommodate any form of donation where we are aware this is someone’s wish, sometimes this is not possible given the circumstances around someone’s passing. I can see that as soon as we were informed of your Wife’s passing, although her death had not yet been verified, we attempted to contact the MS Society to understand how we needed to proceed in order to accommodate the donation. As they were unavailable at the time to provide guidance, we then made the decision to bring your Wife into our care as soon as verification had taken place. All staff I spoke to were very helpful and understanding. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is that I had requested to be told when the cremation had taken place but I ended up ringing after 5 days of not hearing (however, I do appreciate that this was during Easter). Would undoubtedly use Pure Cremation again should the need arise.

Everything was professionally and kindly carried out. The only downside was to have my photograph taken with the ashes when they were delivered to me, I thought this was very insensitive and needless

The overall service was very good and empathetic. I was kept informed all the way through apart from a slight glitch with comms right at the end. I would recommend.

the customer service was excellent, the price of the complete cremation was very good. They were very understanding and patient with all requests, we would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone.

I choose Direct Cremation as it was what my late husband had requested. I chose Pure Cremation as it had the best reviews. The service received was great, however I had to chase up the Coroner as Pure Cremation left me a voicemail asking if I had heard from them? I called the Coroner office and they stated they had sent the response days ago. I asked them to send again and called Pure Cremation and told them that I had done this and they confirmed the paperwork had just been received and that I should not have chased them up - but why leave a message asking if I had heard?? Other than this they were professional and kept me updated throughout. My husband was returned home by hand delivery and Callum was lovely and ensured I had everything before he left. I would also like to suggest that you ask what container cover you would like for the Urn. Thank you for your service. I recommend PC for Direct Cremations should you need this kind of service

Dear Ms Peowrie, Thank you for this feedback, which is truly valued. I can see from our records that we contacted the coroner on several occasions requesting the necessary paperwork needed, however we had no response. On occasion, we know that the family get an update before we do, so like to check in and see whether they have had any updates while we await a response. We are sorry that this took so long to reach us and we are always as pro-active as possible when trying to obtain the legal forms. We do not allow families to choose the urn photo wrap, as we cannot always guarantee that particular options would be available to us at the time of need. Kindest regards, Mia

Overall we were very happy with the service except for the fact that you said you would call on a certain day which did not happen & we had to phone the following day.

The overall experience and service were good...but we had a slight delay due to getting paperwork from the hospital, which led to the cremation being delayed by 10 days, but Pure Cremation managed to get the ashes delivered to us in record time. Thank you.
