Excelent caring people who delt with things very sypatheticaly. only improvement was I didn't realise we could enclose tokens (in our case 4 Roses )with the coffin. If my Daughter had't asked we wouldn't have it may be we hadn't read everything but if the question was asked to everyone it would be nice. We have elderly family and everyone celebrated her life in their own way. but replicating the 4 roses ment we were united although apart.

Takes slightly longer than I expected for whole journey however customer care and communication , clear , concise and totally trustworthy

Very friendly, helpful and patient. Answered my questions even on a weekend when there was only emergency staff covering. My only niggle, and the reason I only gave 4 stars, was I had to keep calling for updates on where my loved one was.

On the whole yes they did a very good job our family was satisfied with the contact we had with the very friendly staff The only part which did upset me is the fact wherever you live in the country your loved ones are taken to Andover for cremation I did believe they would be handled locally on reflection Pure cremation did not at any time tell me any different.

Pure cremation provided a positive experience for our family, and the passing of my dad. The men who collected my dad were respectful, friendly and took the time to explain the process and talk to myself and my mum for 20 minutes after collecting my dad. They were very kind. The next day pure cremation called me to reassure us that my dad arrived in the early hours of the morning and he was in their care. From then on the communication was above and beyond. They rang to confirm cremation date, delivery of ashes etc. The team were all very friendly and kind and although I was not keen on my dads choice of a direct cremation instead of traditional funeral, I was very impressed with the personal service they provided at this difficult time. Pure cremation constantly kept in touch with us via telephone and email, confirming payment, the receiet of death certificate etc. The lady who delivered my dads ashes to me at home rang and gave me an hours timeslot and arrived in a black plain car and was polite and kind. The ashes were in a bag and this wasnt obvious to my neighbours. Overall a positive experience with this company, the only reason they loose a star is for the following reasons; I was charged £250 pounds for a rapid collection of my father (I rang at 5.30pm to arrange collection and was given a time of 22.30pm. I then had to leave my dads house and return later. I felt this was far too long to wait, but the team did call me around 8.30pm, to say they would be earlier and collected my father at 9.30pm ish. The changing of times caused further stress on top of an already upsetting and stressful weekend. The van also had pure cremation written all over it. I felt this was an advertisement of some sort, and tbh I was relieved it was dark when they collected my dad, so it wasnt so obvious to the neighbours what was happening. It was not at all private. I also think requesting payment in 48 hours in far too soon. A week would be more suitable, as when dealing with grief, the first 48 hours are dreadful and having to think about paying a funeral company is the last thing anyone wants. This aside, I would still recommend this company and I was impressed with their care, compassion and service.

My late husband chose Pure Cremation as he didn’t want any fuss or funeral because of warring relatives. Initial contact was long and drawn out as the lady who took my call was training. I was asked for personal information about my husband’s death and the lady said “smashing” which I thought was highly inappropriate and upsetting. The second time I spoke to them it was extremely repetitive and monotonous to say the least. It took a long time to get a registrars appointment because of Easter and they needed the green slip from them in order for him to be cremated. Altogether the time was really long before I got my husband home, from his passing on 19.3.24 to 22.4.24.

We chose an attended cremation and it was lovely. We decided to sing some hymns, have poem , and a short pray. We decided on this type of funeral service so we could have a joyous memorial service at my sisters home town, 100 miles away and then bury her ashes in Mum and Dads grave. She had come to live with us to be looked after several years ago. I do feel this as a perfect solution not only because of the distance but it was less traumatising for my young grandchildren who wanted to say good bye.

Amazingly helpful and friendly service. Generally very good at keeping you up to date with the process, and very supportive. My only (small) criticism would be down to a delay in letting me know about returnin my wifes ashes, due to a bout of illness in one of their departments. Whilst I understand that this can happen, it was a bit disappointing to be promised a phone call, and for it not to happen.

Very friendly staff. Felt like a bit more communication would of been nicer. Also, got the wrong wrap design on the ashes. The lady that delivered the ashes was amazing. So nice and understanding. Overall a really good easy and straightforward service.

The guys who collected my late mother were very professsional as has the rest of the team that I dealt with. My advice to others is to book an appointment with the registar as soon as possible to obtain the death certificate, have a web cam that will allow you to position it above any documents Pure Crem require rather than trying to move a laptop with a built in camera around to do the same thing. I would suggest that Pure Crem need need to rethink the design of their cremation urns. My mother's wish was to join my late father in a single urn and it was not an easy transfer and caused some issues but I got there in the end. Making it easier would take away any distress.

Kept up to date most of the time but although told I would be informed when my loved one was in your care, instead I had to ring to find out and what made it worse had been in your care for 5 days.

Very good, apart from putting wrong address to Farnborough instead of Chelsea London. Also taking longer than expected to get his Ashes back to Chelsea, than the 5 days after cremation that was quoted more like 10 days. Fortunately I hadn’t made any arrangements for his arrival.

Pure cremation took a lot of the hassle out of dealing with a difficult time. They kept me up to date with progress regularly and the cremation was completed in a timely manner. I was, however, a little surprised that they demanded immediate payment. Whilst I was able to cover the cost, I am sure many people might need to juggle funds to cover the cost. I found this element stressful.

If your loved one passes away at home, in a nursing home or hospice we will not ask for any money before we set out. We do require full payment before booking the cremation.
