The initial contact was good as was the recepionist when I collected the ashes. The contact was good until the day before the commital. After the cremation nothing. From 19 August until 15 September nothing. As I wanted to take the ashes away with me at the end of this month, I rang you asking if I could collect them. I was told I could and collected tham on 16 September. Because I thought the ashes would be delivered to my home, I was expecting a call to say the ashes were coming. To wait nearly four weeks and still no contact was a little dissapointing. The recommendation below would depend on the circumstances of the friend.

All went well apart from I didn’t get a notification when they collected mum from the hospital But all good

The whole process was very good the lady who brought the ashes home was very pleasant smartly dressed and professional. The container the ashes came in is very acceptable and eco friendly. It was very nice that a tree has also been planted in my dad's name. Thank you.

My uncle passed away on 19th July 2025. Prior to his death my uncle rrequested a Pure Cremation funeral. I contacted Pure Cremation and the customer service reprsentative I spoke to was excellent, she was sympathic and provided me with information. The process was explained and I received regular updates. I even arranged to have my aunties ashes to be scattered in the garden of remberance with my uncles ashes. I would recommend Pure Cremation. Thanks to Pure Cremation for their help/ support at this difficult time.

I would have had the best review but we got told after my dad passed away that they couldn’t come and collect my dad as needed a post mortem so was left for 5 hours trying to find another funeral place to come and take my dad to rest to then find out pure cremation could have been there to collect my dad

It took some time for the commital to take place but I am not sure where the fault lay. However, I was most impressed by the level of service received in arranging a cremation. A lady called Christine was most helpful and the ashes were delivered to me in the timeframe stated. I have recommended Pure Cremation since to many people.

Pure cremation handled everything with my mum’s passing with dignity and respect. From collecting mum to delivering the ashes. The was a delay between of a few weeks prior to committal. Overall a good positive experience that made things easier during bereavement. Thank You

Staff very kind & polite,kept me updated as events were happening.I felt as though there was a long wait for actual cremation to take place but obviously time slots are given by crematorium.I received my husbands ashes exactly 6 weeks after he passed away the lady that brought them was also extremely nice.The only thing that I really do not like is the container that my husbands ashes were returned in but unless you choose something yourself this is what you get.

I had mixed feelings about how this would work. When my mum passed away the team were very efficient and Abbey was my contact. Abbey was helpful and informative. The whole process was efficent and as my mum wanted. The only thing I found difficult was not knowing the time my my mum was cremated as I would have liked to have known this.

Friendly person when I made the call to arrange a cremation, a plan wasn't in place as the death wasn't expected. I was kept informed of timeliness. Ashes delivered back on a date that was convenient to me. Driver was very nice

Found dealing with them very easy and the people who collected my Mum and delivered her ashes very respectful. The only criticism I have that I would be told the date Mum’s ashes would be delivered by a phone call, this did not happen all I got was a email the night before and a tracking email on the day, this is makes it feel like an Amazon parcel not a loved one. I did get a phone call when they were in their way however. Also never received the gift card unless it arrived at my mothers address after it was vacated

The process of arranging my wife's cremation was straightforward and stress free. However, this was clouded by being contacted one month later by a phone call informing me that I had not been charged for the private ambulance that collected my wife from home. I needed to pay a further sum of £254 approx to complete the service provided. At the time of the phone call I was very distressed and simply paid over the phone. Now, over five weeks later I feel that things could have been handled with a little more empathy. I appreciate that errors do happen but I merely state that this incident did leave me feeling let down by an otherwise perfect service.

The service provided by Pure Cremation has been of excellent quality , kindness and effciency with the slight exception of our initial engagement where on two occassions the information previously provided couldnt be located and we had to reprovide . That said everything else was handled with great respect, sympathy and business like effectiveness. We are very satisfied with the service provided and will be happy to reccommend Pure Cremation to anyone.

Buying the cremation was easy and efficient. The member of staff was very pleasant and had an appropriate tone. Everything was made clear to me. On the day of the bereavement when I contacted Pure Cremation, that’s when I took issue with their provision. The member of staff asked me if I was alright: I thought that was inappropriate. I was sent a form to fill in with electronic signatures. When I returned it, I was then told it had to be live signatures and they needed to change the template. I had to do it all again and scan in the relevant pages. At such a sensitive time that’s not acceptable. It was also not acceptable not to be told this when the form was first sent. I asked the member of staff if there was anything else I needed to do as I was clueless. I was assured that was all. Three days later when I saw the solicitor his first question was whether I had contacted the registrar: I had not because of what Pure Cremation had told me and I had noticed a section on the registrar on their form. I should have been told to contact the registrar. There are staff training issues here. Thereafter, the service I received was good and professional. Staff were very helpful when I contacted them and kept me informed. The man who delivered the ashes was very pleasant, though the container looked like a cereal packet: I would have preferred an urn shape.

The service was very good with one exception the initial contact on the night my husband died I found the caller very unsympathetic and asked a lot of questions which could be asked later but the rest was very good

Easy to book in when Mum passed, process nice and simple. Phoned by a personal contact, which was fine, but I never spoke to him again. Took longer than I expected, but that's just modern Britain for you. I had to call them to check when they had collected, rather than them calling me, which was what they said they'd do. Very good service other than that.

As a family, we found Pure Cremations to be very professional, and considerate. Communication was very good and the staff were really helpful, everything was taken out of our hands, which is what you need at a time of loss. When the ashes were delivered pure cremations were very compassionate towards my mum as she was on her own. I would recommend them 100%.
