The service from Pure Cremation was mainly positive. The staff were helpful and supportive and receptive. Unfortunately, I only gave a 4 star review due to 2 reasons. Firstly, we were not contacted from Pure Cremation regarding the time of Mums ashes being returned despite being told we would receive an email the day before. Secondly, we received a letter addressed to Mum from Pure Cremation regarding a gift card. This was a number of weeks after she had died. As you can imagine, this was upsetting for my elderly father and myself.

As a family we found the pure cremation team very thoughtful and helpful at every step of the difficult process. The only part i would have liked to be different was knowing the time of my mum's cremation. The day of the committal was difficult , wondering what time it would be happening. The lady that brought my mum home was so lovely and respectful.

Overall a good service however phones calls with different staff members was confusing maybe better that only one person deals with you although all extremly polite and empathic

The people who collected my husband were extremely respectful and caring. The only issues I had were i would have liked to know the time of the cremation not just the day. When the ashes came home it was too quick and rushed. The lady seemed to be in such a hurry and wasn't anywhere near as respectful as I expected.

Everyone I dealt with was extremely kind and called to keep me informed throughout. The only thing we didn’t like was what the ashes came back in, it looked liked. Cereal box.

Everything started really well and was so smooth given that we had to call and arrange everything on the day of the death. Communication was good during the process but sadly I had to chase for details of the timings for the return of the ashes which left us feeling a little disappointed.

Apart from the bad timing of advertising special offers for £50 off at such a sensitive time, and I don't know what you could do about it given that you are a private business, the actual service, and the responses over the phone were faultless. Price wise they were excellent but also sympathetic, clear and understanding. Always available on the end of a phone and very courteous when the ashes were returned to us.

Although the problem was not the fault of Pure Cremation, but that of the hospital, I feel I did not get enough communication from Pure Cremation while things were sorted out. Other than that, all good.

Pure Cremation was excellent in all but one .From phoning with the death of my husband I was treated with compassion and the body was collected speedily, then informed of cremation date all with care and consideration for me .The only problem I had I was not informed the day before what time the ashes were being delivered and had to make several phone calls as I was told to have someone with me and needed to tell them what time to come.When the ashes did arrive the lady was very kind and explained everything to me .

Staff had a lovely nature when speaking (at what is a very challenging time for those of us dealing with a loved one). Nothing was too much trouble. They did treat my requests with concern and care.

Was told they would phone me the day before with a time of return of my mother's ashes. Instead they sent a(TEXT MESSAGE) with a 3 hour time slot. Uncaring & rude.

After dad passed away I rang them and they were so kind caring and compassionate helped me through a very difficult time! It was all so easy and helpful and I didn’t have to do much!

I was mostly very happy with the service you provided apart from one or two faults in my opinion. I asked to be informed the day my mother was cremated and that did not happen and also I wasn’t made aware of how long the process would take and that I’d be waiting for my mums ashes for so long .

Our family had no problems with using this service , it was the first time for many of us instead of the traditional service at a crematorium, some felt it wasn't right but it was the deceased wishes and we had no problems , regular contact and I personally found the staff very helpful and sincere , ashes were returned I a dignified manor with all paperwork correct.

It is what it is ! comunication could have been better, but overall it was ok the lady who returned my dads ashes was professional caring and warm of personallity, she made the final stages of dads return bearable, any company is only as good as the people who work for it afterall.she told me that every stage is carried out with the utmost respect, which was an absolute comfort at a very sad time.
