They were absolutely great all the way through, the reason only 4 stars is my local hospital rang me up to say that my late mothers paperwork had been left behind after her collection by Pure cremation, an oversight i know, but not a phone call that you would want or expect.

Great and respectful service. The team were always helpful when I rang in with questions. I would recommend this service. My only reason for a 4* rating is I would have like to be kept a little more update. I found I was the one ringing in, in the beginning. Apart from this minor criticism Pure Cremation was great. Dear Bronwen, thank you for the positive comments and for letting us know what we can do to improve. I am pleased to hear that your questions were handled well. We agree that it would be good to increase our contact with the bereaved, particularly in those first few days after being instructed. Our dedicated people are very good at progressing the arrangements within the promised timescales, and we are recruiting more of them to offer more frequent contact with the bereaved for their support and reassurance, even as the number of families turning to us continues to grow. Everything went like clockwork from start to finish . Very polite staff . Our relatives ashes were delivered to us on time and with empathy. However I do feel that there was a lack of communication on the time line of the cremation procedure . I had to ring yourselves to confirm cremation date and delivery of ashes date . Also beautiful box but no explanation of what the pressed tablet is on the box . Is it part of the ashes ?

Dear Pamela, thank you for your comments. While I can see that a provisional date was given during the initial call and confirmed two working days beforehand, in line with our usual management of each person's arrangements, we are looking at how to increase our contact with the bereaved to reassure and support them further. We are delighted that you like the biodegradable urn that we use, which should have been delivered with a Thank You card that explains that the ceramic disc. This disc bears your loved one's unique cremation number and has accompanied them through the cremation process as an extra, tangible confirmation of identity in addition to our excellent systems. I chosen pure cremations ltd as it was my father's wishes for a no funeral services to be done and was not my wishes . But seemed like the perfect way he would of like to have gone . As my father's death was unexpected..I contacted pure cremations and everything was done in a very professional way , and very understanding from start to finish ...I highly recommend this company if this is your loved ones wishes .....thankyou pure cremations...

It was my Dad's decision to have his cremation with Pure Cremation. The service was brilliant and very affordable. Only thing missing was the communication and any call made was from me. I honestly think a curtesy call the day following cremation would be very welcomed. I had to call a few times to get answers. The ashes container is beautiful and I love that the token is a keepsake.

2 little quibbles. I informed someone on the out of hours number of my father's death. They said someone would phone me back that day but no one did, it took 2 days by which point my dad's body had already been collected and was with them. I think it would have been nice to know when they were collecting my dad. Secondly they sent the invoice and I paid it that day, however there was a mix up and they couldn't find my payment straight away. An added stress at an already stressful time. I do understand mix ups happen though. Other than this their communication was brilliant with emails and phonecalls informing me of each step. The process was very easy. I have my mums and my own future cremations booked through them and I have no concerns about that. Thank you pure cremation for your service.

easy to sign up and very easy to sort out my mams cremation . and at a fraction of the price of a normal funeral service .

The service was very good, before the cremation I was contacted and kept informed. The only reason I have given them 4 stars is that I feel even though they gave me a date for the cremation it would have been nice to be informed that the cremation had if fact taken place as planned. Otherwise the service i received was very good.

Initially i had a very upsetting response when they were informed of my partners decease . Following on they followed up with excellent customer services. i will use them for myself, however they need to review how they deal with cases where the coroner is involved which means they cannot remove body. They need to be more proactive in helping source a local undertaker ro remove body on their behalf. in my case the ambulance crew eventuality did this for me. This happened on a Saturday . they then contacted me on the Monday and from then on service was expellant

Everything was dealt with very efficiently and with compassion. The cremation took place when scheduled and the ashes returned promptly.

I phoned on the Sunday morning when he died and spoke to a member of Pure cremation staff. The Paramedics spoke to them as well. So I was surprised that when I phoned during the next week to update Pure Cremations I was told that they had not registered his death on the day I phoned. After that the service from Rebecca has been very good.

The staff were all very understanding but also professional, everything went smoothly apart from I had to phone twice to find out where my mums ashes were as no one contacted me. The staff were very apologetic about this and resolved the issue quickly.

Only thing that let it down was the lack of communication. People said they'd ring back but never did and was holding for long period. More staff needed to handle call volume.
