All the staff were very friendly, professional and helpful on the phone. From the initial contact with them to the lovely man who returned my husband's ashes to me. The only downside to using Pure Cremations is they can't tell you the time of the cremation of a loved one. This, as it turned out, was extremely important, as on the day allocated I was constantly thinking about it and wondering if it had happened, which made for an awful upsetting day.

At the time of need, we always ask the chosen representative if they wish to be informed of the cremation date. However, we cannot confirm the time of the cremation as too many variants can occur and we feel it would be unfair to confirm a time we may not be able to commit to. Kind regards, Olivia

Great people to speak to when needed collection of deceased is prompt but cremation is a little slow and delivery of ashes if you've requested them but overall lovely people and they keep you well informed

Generally excellent, sensitive and considerate. However occasionally duplication of contact and background noise when telephoning.

I was extremely impressed with Pure Cremation. The team were very professional and prompt and kept me informed after my husband passed away. His ashes were delivered to me, together with all paperwork necessary. I would certainly recommend the company

Pure cremation made the whole process as easy as possible. Everyone I spoke to was kind and understanding. We where kept informed of all the steps that where being undertaken and no questions where to much trouble to answer. I would have given 5* . Unfortunately on the day my dad's ashes where being returned I was told they would arrive sometime after 12 o'clock. They arrived just after 6 pm. It was a long afternoon but did have phone call from the driver about 4pm to apologise. The only one thing o would suggest is a narrower time slot and not am or pm. On the whole I would highly recommend pure cremation.

The Pure Cremation worked extremeley well for the person who had passed away. He would not have liked the fuss and the hype of a traditional funeral and he would have been satisfied with the process. As the organiser, I found the staff to be extrmemely helpful and cannot complain about anything. I, myself didnt realise you could have this type of a process and will be looking into it for myself. I can recommend pure cremation. I know they offer a lot more but I cannopt comment on this as my instructions were to be as simple as possible, and that was exactly what we got. So a big thumbs up from me! Thank you very much.

After my dad passed away suddenly we rang pure cremation as this was his wish and staff were really professional and friendly. We felt that throughout the process communication was lost with me having to ring them on a number of occasions. My mum emailed and was rang back and spoke to Sarah who reassured us of what was happening and could not apologise enough for the lack of communication. My dads ashes are now back at home with us as per prior arrangement. Although a few small issues with communication I would recommend pure cremation as an easy process without the stress. Thank you

From the time my husband passed, to the time he was cremated the customer service and care was second to none. However from the cremation to having his ashes delivered the customer service was none-existent. I felt as if I was forgotten and seemed to be forever chasing information and updates. Very upsetting and disappointing.

just a couple of observations. 1. It would be nice to have a single point of contact - every time somebody rang it was a different person. 2. 23 days seemed a long time for the ashes to be delivered after the cremation.

Thank you for the 4 stars, Kenneth, and for your observations. We always want to resolve a query as quickly as possible and so have multiple members of staff able to do this, however, we are working towards having a single customer care advisor to maintain proactive contact with each family. From the day Pure Cremation launched we have promised to aim for ashes' return within 21 days so that we could optimise efficiency and keep our price low. Whilst this is one of the shortest timescales for this style of service, we are working to improve this as well, aiming for a dramatic reduction and to set a new standard.

The professionalism is of the highest calibra the care and attention to detail is outstanding and the communication is first class wish I had done the same for myself Just one point I would bring to the attention of Pure Cremation is to give the executor a choice of if he would like a proper urn for the remains of the loved one instead of handing the ashes in what I would describe as a Tupperware cereal box that would be the only critic I would say for the service and care absolutely first class Thank you

Dear Mr Mattimore, thank you for your kind words. It has been a privilege to carry out your instructions. I would like to respond to your comments about the container that we have chosen. We have carefully considered the presentation of the ashes and selected a robust, cellulose (biodegradable) container that also allows us to present the ceramic disc that we offer as tangible reassurance of identity. We include this high-quality container in our great value price and we believe that it is a considerable improvement on the traditional "sweetie jar" container or newer cardboard boxes used by other crematoria. Crematoria or funeral directors are usually happy to place ashes in any suitable container that the family purchases. Kind regards, Catherine Powell

After the passing of my late father pure cremation,s collected him from our home , took his body to there chapel of rest which is in Andover, a-bit too far away , we felt as we presumed he would be nearer home , we thought the service was ok but as it was the first creamation we had every known some family members struggled with the no funeral but over all everything carried out as my mother expect so thank you 🙏

I found lack of communication, and also my husband's ashes were not returned within twenty one days as stated so disappointed with that . Gentleman to returned the ashes was very kind .

Whilst the overall purpose was served and staff tried to be helpful, there were a number of challenges . The service could be improved by notifying when the cremation is to actually take place and to ensuring that deadlines are met without the need for customers to remind the service.
