Item was not same as photo .it showed4 diamond sharpeners,1 debburlng stone ,and a case.i just received 2 diamond sharpeners

PTW packaging non-existent. Just the unsealed Makita box. Would have expected some nylon banding or at least the box sealed with some tape. DPD delivery fine.

There is a fine line between provided too much and too little packaging when considering the effects excess packaging has on the environment. Very happy with mower but the promotion that was supposed to give a spare battery for Maketa tools did not happen waited patiently for free battery got code then nothing it did say that you’d have to wait a month for battery to arrive but it’s been nearly two months any chance power tool world can sort this out .

My 'complaint' is that the delivery firm wound up going to the wrong address whilst I was waiting in for the aforesaid delivery. Imagine my utter surprise when I received an email saying that your driver had turned up to my place, but I was out! Absolute nonsense! To add insult to injury, in the email telling me that I was 'out', a picture was attached showing a shot of a front garden that I hadn't got a clue as to where it had been taken! Now come on - with all the technology around today, whether via a tablet, smartphone or even a laptop, not to be able to find my postal address is a joke! I've only been living here for 30 years! Luckily, I spoke to a very helpful lady at Power Tool World, who re-directed your driver to where I do actually live. To use that well-known phrase, it's hardly rocket science, is it?

Items were delivered on the porch. If the neighbour did not spot this the tools would have been stolen.

THE ONLY ISSUE I HAD WAS THE POOR PACKACHING,THE MAKERS BOX HOLDING THE ROUTER WAS INTACT.

This would have been Avery good if not for DPD who are useless and told me I wasn’t home when I was. In fact I was sitting in my van in the car park when they tried to deliver the item guess what, no DPD van !

It would be great if PTW could change the policy for returns accepting even opened and tested tools within certain period like 30 days.

Have said they can't warranty the tool meaning there speedy deliver and good price are somewhat pointless

I can’t fault Power Tool World for the ease of shopping, delivery time etc., and the DeWalt circular saw is exactly what it should be of course. However, when a package arrives with the bare machine poking out through a hole in the box this is not at all what I expect from a supplier. I completely accept that this is almost certainly a ‘damage in transit’ issue, and not (hopefully) how it left the store! Come on though guys, at least package a tool so it can survive the journey! In this instance there was no actual damage to the fence, which was the bit poking out, but this was purely by luck.
