Goods received broken, process to get replacement was frustrating and was left with a partial solution. Avoid this seller at all costs!!! bought a dewalt track saw + rails. It arrived damaged and it was a frustrating process to get the products replaced. I had to drop the damaged goods off myself at a dpd point as powertoolworld wouldn't arrange a courier to pick up from my address. They also would not send the replacement until they had received and inspected the damaged saw which meant I was without the tool for several days. Then the tracks that came with the saw needed replacing also due to swapping out the saw, they were then unable to provide a timely solution to the tracks and offered me a partial refund to buy replacement parts to fix the tracks myself.

Hi Reuben, we are very disappointed to read this review as we believe we did everything possible when your saw developed a fault. We offered an immediate replacement on return of the faulty saw offering you a collection from either your home address or a pick up shop. You chose the pick up shop as the most convenient option. We sent out the replacement saw by return & offered you a replacement splinter guard for both of your rails. Unfortunately Dewalt were out of stock of the spare part, leaving us with little option but to offer you a generous refund to cover your losses which you accepted. I’ve spoken to a representative 3 times now to try and return a faulty item and each time they’ve told me they will email a return form over to me but each time nothing has come through. All so quick to take your money but went something goes wrong they’re not so quick or responsive! Awful I’ll carry on chasing but goes without saying, I Will not be using these again.

Was sent a faulty mitre saw and they are refusing to give me a refund even though uk law says that faulty goods must be refunded within 30 days. I am now in the process of going through the small claims court to get my money back AVOID AT ALL COSTS. customer service is appalling. Everyone on my site is now avoiding them because they will try and fob you off when you are entitled to a full refund under the 2015 consumer protection act.

Hi Will, as discussed after 26 days we are unable to swap your saw for a different model. As your saw has now developed a fault it becomes a warranty issue for which we will take full ownership. We, in partnership with Makita will arrange the free collection & return of your site saw at a time & location to suit yourself. The manufacturer will repair/replace as necessary at their discretion in accordance with UK law.

Asked what blade came with the saw in a email before purchase. When purchased and delivered. it had a different saw blade to was told. Was quicker to sell the rubbish on than a 30 day refund as told in a email

Hi David, as discussed we hold our hands up to this. We had an old listing of this saw on the website that had not been updated since the manufacturer changed the blade part number & for that we apologise. Still have I receive my order which I placed on 5 January 2018. Reported this to powertool world on many occasions & they seem to fob you off, I have my found out the parcel was lost in transit by DPD

I only received 4 out of the five items that i ordered and despite sending a very clear email detailing what i was missing am still waiting for them to get back to me with a resolution. I was even emailed by Stan who despite my clear email was convinced that i was missing 3 completely different items. It is a real joke as the box the items were sent in was not even physically big enough to hold all of the items. My only regret is that i did not use my usual supplier. I definitely wont be returning To PowerTool World

Ordered three items over 6 weeks ago one arrived on delivery two missing been fobbed off by a guy call Stan for weeks and still no clearer as to when or if I’m ever going to revieve these other two items yet they have had the money!! Very poor!!

As discussed the DPD investigation was still ongoing due in no small part to them deciding that your safe place was in plain view in the middle of your driveway. They sold me an item I paid the item and the delivery and after 3 day I receive email that i am not going to receive this they offer me complete other product.I lost some good costumers for this 3day because they are not professional.wery disappointed David Roberts wery unprofessional not replying on emails i need to call them and wait for my refund.DONT ORDER From this site

AVOID! AVOID!AVOID! Sent me Faulty Jigsaw and Never answer on the emails. After receiving the item back and 4-5 conversation and explanation what's wrong with the item refund me, but charge me for the collection. After another conversation finally refund me the charge as well. No one need problems like this. There are so many decent traders, so avoid this one.

I have emailed and rang several times but can’t get any answer to say the grinder I purchased is faulty and will not work properly. I would hesitate in buying from you again.

Hi, we are surprised to read this review as we have kept you informed regarding your order every step of the way. At your request we instructed our courier to return your delivery to us undelivered & as the tracking shows it has left the Aberdeen hub today on its way back to us. Delivery was a disaster. It was delivered to the wrong area and then I waited in a del. which never came and eventually when it did i was told the delay (which cost me hundreds£) was due to foreign drivers and too much success and growth. I was promised by a seemingly helpful manager some form of reasonable compensation but they apparently went away on hols. and customer service went with them. Cannot be relied upon and keen to blame others and failed to honour their offers. Vote with your wallet and reward more organised companies.

Hi, as you were out on the scheduled day of delivery your parcel was returned to the central hub in Exeter. Due to a major incident on the M5 your parcel was delayed further & for that we apologise. We offered you a small compensation which you declined by email. For just £2.95 extra we offer a guaranteed next day delivery on purchases over £100. Regards - Dave(Powertoolworld)

Recived goods that look second hand. Told me if i send them back i can purchase them again but will only receive the same quality tool as thats how they come even when there brand new. I smell bull s***

Hi there. What went wrong??? I just want to buy Dewalt hammer drill (body only) from you. But you don't have in the stock,fine.....but you got in stock dewalt box & dewalt hammer drill. so I have to pay more for it... ok. But then UK MAIL,your delivery company,they are not good at all. I left my phone no. on my front door...because our door bell (intercom) not working.. Uk mail contact me,delivery will be on Tuesday,nothing,then Wednesday,nothing....Then uk mail contact me,delivery will be 14-15pm....I got home at 13 55 pm ...delivery was there. My neighbor was (Lucky me) out side,and sing for it at 12 noon. They are joke.

Our couriers do not provide their delivery drivers with mobile phones so they were unable to contact you until as you say , one of your neighbours took your parcel at the third delivery attempt. Put items into basket - 16.6 % added as tax ! Need I say amything else - after explaining to owner who replied so whats up I explained but never come across such un-sincerity! Oh and VAT yes VAT was added on after the previous 16% increase :) really
