Ordered 2nd fix Hikoko nail gun didn't work .very sporadic firing brads within first 1hr of use stopped working completely,spoke to Powertool world who informed me that it had to go to Hikoki to be repaired ,not what you would expect of a 1 hr old nail gun. Still waiting for it to be collected by Hikoki 1 week after making complaint .1 very disappointed customer!!!!!!!!

I think your company is a complete joke and I’ll be advising everyone on every site I go to not to use you. I purchased around £500 of dewalt kit from you and never received my 2 x 5 ah batteries. I emailed a manager called Ian and was told I shall not be receiving my batteries as he checked the cctv and they were packed, this does still not give me my batteries that I paid your company for, costing me £114!

Hi Stuart, thank you for your feedback. We do sincerely empathise with you, but as discussed your parcel was quality checked onto our courier transport. Having signed for the parcel as undamaged we have very little respite with the courier company. We have however asked them to revisit this issue and open a lost in transit case. The drill came in the Wong box the charger doesn’t fit correctly and no handle for the drill. The equipment was marked with my name before I realised this so there was no point in complaining

I recieved my Makita twin drill and impact driver on time but went to use the drill and found it to be faulty contacted Powertool world who against the sale of goods act refused to take back stating ìt is Makitas warrenty issue which is completely wrong. I would never use Powertool world again and advise anyone reading this to look for another tool provider.

Hi, thank you for your feedback. I can see that our courier partner did deliver the goods to you damaged, meaning that you were without your nails for the nail gun. We can appreciate that having a nail gun without nails can be frustrating to say the least! I can see that we arranged the return of the nailer from you and that your refund has been completed. The item was damaged, and you couldnt send another untill you had recieved it back, you could not pick it up from my delivery address, i had to take it to the post office, so 10 days later before i could use the item i had brought, to do a specific job

Ordered a tool box 2 weeks ago waited a week even tho it said 1-3 days delivery, was then told my parcel was sent back as the sell requested it to be returned for what reason this was i do not know but ended having to wait 2 weeks to be told i was given a refund so still not got no box, will avoid in future

Goods were lost in the warehouse, and they were not dispatched until I rang up to chase it, if I had waited longer to call I have no trust the order would have been dispatched. was not happy with the service on the phone either, I wanted a.m. booked for the next day and it wasn't promised.

Talking to them on the phone is like trying to converse with a donkey sucking on a tampon riding a carrot!! They call next day delivery between 6-7pm the next day ??? But it missed that aswell I paid for next day that took 3 days!!!

Hi, thank you for your feedback. We did try to deliver the goods to you on the Next Working Day, but this delivery was unsuccessful as the carriers are stating that there was nobody to take receipt. After this, the carrier attempted again on 05/10 but this delivery was refused and therefore was set back to us. WARNING! BE 100% sure want to keep an item as Powertool return policy is not customer focused I spent over £650 on a mitre saw and stand I was not happy with the stand and wanted to return it for a different model I was told that I would need to return it at my expense. The cost of returning was £25 so really not cost effective for me I wish I spent my 650 with a better company

ordered one tool, received the conformation of ONE tool but once delivery arrived they had sent two? and my card was billed for the second one a day later, to make matters worse I had to pay £17 to send the un ordered item back for which powertoolworld had the decency to charge me yet again for them sending the item wrongly in the first place... its not my first tool purchase from them but this is certainly the last. as they say its how customers are dealt with once a problem arrises that sets a good company apart, in my opinion this is where power tool world fell short

Sat holding our money for over a week and tool not sent, said sent one email that we did not receive and no attempt made to follow up despite having phone number. Very poor customer service and communication. Never had to ask our bank for a verification code for someone who has already got our money. Disgusted with this failure to communicate and force us to chase up order

We emailed the registered email address on your account asking for a bank authorization code so we could release your order. As we didn’t receive a response your order was placed on hold. So I purchased a makita compact recipricator saw for the company. It arrived 2days later. I used this saw once! with the wood blade that it came with. The saw wasn’t up to the standard I needed I stopped packed it away back in the box still like brand new, returned it at a cost to myself!! the blade admittedly had been used. I was told I would get a refund. I even went on to explain once I received the refund I would order the next size up makita reciprocator. Instead I got a partial refund. They took £6.95 from The refund in order to replace a blade that u can buy a whole pack for the same money. Stay well clear and buy else where!

I ordered a Bosch hammer drill with Powertool World on 21st June, which they claimed they could get to me in 2-3days. 2 months later and I still have not received the parcel nor my money back, which I asked for after 30 days of waiting (consumer rights). I have been lied to, claiming that my "safe place" at the top of my garage, on a private driveway, where they were to leave the parcel wasn't safe enough, even though they didn't even attempt to deliver it to my property (I have cctv).After 3 weeks of waiting I was then told to retrieve the parcel myself, once they had figured out that a courier company had dumped it in my village somewhere. They of course did not contact me with this information, I had to contact them on several occasions. I have had to contact citizens advice and tradings standards in order to claim my money back. Do not purchase anything from this company. They are not interested in customer satisfaction. Their customer service is atrocious. If you are looking for power tools go to Screwfix or Amazon at least you will get a half decent service if things go wrong. Don't rely on poor quality companies like this one if you require tools for work contracts.

Defective makita mitre saw table has been posted twice, We bought it a month ago still no table and no money back from powertools. SELER Higly not reccomended!!!!
