Hi, we are really sorry that you did not receive your order but as discussed you had entered an incorrect address & our courier (DPD) could not locate you. We offered to redeliver the item once this came to light but you declined this & we refunded immediately. Regards - Dave (Powertoolworld)

Doesn't respond to emails and fails to adhere to the law and follow the Consumer Contracts Regulations. I would advise you pay a bit more and shop elsewhere.

Had to ring as no sign of my order being despatched despite paying extra for 'Next Day', told they had missed my order despite taking my money and confirming it! When the drill and additionally purchased battery and Makita box with insert arrived, they were just rattling around inside the oversized box. No packaging or padding, miracle they weren't damaged. Worst 'packing' ever and terrible customer service. Won't bother again, can get better from a number of competitors.

Hi, We are really sorry your order was delayed by one day & refunded the full shipping costs as soon as we became aware of the issue. if not an issue with hitachi nail gun that would be very good.i purchased hitachi nail gun and when I received next day the batteries were faulty and manage to do only 3 shots .I bought it only cos was next day delivery and needed gun asap after my van been robbed of most of my tools worth 4k.when I phoned them they said is nothing to do with them anymore as the tool been used.shock! I phoned hitachi and they could not believe the treatment I received from power tool,but they were kind and send me replacement charger with new batteries 3 days later.anyway the all situation cost me £70 pounds of hireing one for time waiting for batteries.

Hi, as the machine was purchased two months ago this became a warranty issue . We are happy to deal with Hitachi warranty claims, but as speed was a key factor we suggested contacting Hitachi direct who effectively dealt with this within three days. Regards - Dave (Powertoolworld)

The appliance lasted under 10 minutes before it went wrong. I have sent an e mail to you but have not yet received a reply. Unless I receive a reply within 48 hours I will put payment on hold as the credit card has not yet been paid. I have offered not to do this if you sent me a replacement part but I can't do anything until I get a response from you. Rod White

Still waiting for my tools 6 days late, mistake with dpd and how I have been treated after by power tool management is discusting would not recommend and definitely will not use again.

Coms are poor, returns policy is rubbish and i still haven't heard a peep about when I'm getting a replacement for the faulty item I sent back. Prices are low but they are low for a reason. After sales isn't very good at all

Steer clear of Powertool World,everything is sweet until there is a problem then they don't want to know.Up go the shutters and you have a fight on your hands. My advice would be to shop elsewhere ! DannyB

Hi, as your planer had been used it became a warranty issue . The quickest & easiest way to resolve the issue would be for us to arrange Bosch to collect & repair/replace as necessary . We have now collected the faulty planer & sent it to Bosch on your behalf. Regards - Dave (Powertoolworld)

I wouldn't know what my mitre saw is like as I've not received it.Your delivery service UK Mail have messed me about no end,and a week and a half later an I'm still without it.Phonings done no good as their call centre is medieval.

I order my tool Saturday 16/4 on a free post 1 to 3 days and still haven't received them by Saturday the 24/4

Absolute crap ordered tools for a job on Monday the 4th and still not delivered by the 14th! Promised it by courier twice and no show, Job completed today with hired tools!!!!!

Hi, we are really sorry to hear about this. Your order was despatched with our courier (DPD) on a 1-3 day service on 5th April. You should have received it by 8th April at the latest. Having looked at the tracking it would appear it has been "Held" in their depot until you contacted them & they have finally delivered it at the third time of asking. Ordered a mitre saw which arrived in the post as an empty box. Very poor service from company or courier service. No refund or credit note given. Still waiting a week down the line.

Purchased a Bosch GMS 100M metal detector. Item came in poor fitting plain white box? When I enquirer was informed by advisor (Andy) that that's how they all are sold at if I wanted to return I'd have to pay postage costs? Spoke with Bosch Tools Manager UK who advises me these items are NOT a meant for retail sale! Shoddy!

Did not receive my whole order and when complained was told there was nothing that could be done as they had packed it with everything inside. No damage to the packaging or anything and not even any space for the missing items in the box. Will not be using them again. It's was £20's of stuff out of an order of nearly £400

All started well. The order was correct and I did receive it next day as stated. However, the first time I used the drill, I discovered it was faulty. My expectations were that, as it was brand new and within 28 days of purchase, I would get a replacement. Power tool world refused stating that their policy is that the drill is repaired by a local agent under the DeWalt warranty. When I stated my consumer rights allow me a refund or replacement the person on the phone actually said "that's not going to happen". You can imagine, I'm less than impressed. They may be cheap, but should you have a problem, so is their after sales service.

Don't deal with this rouge company. They took my money a month ago and I still can't get it back. I forget how many calls, emails and complaints. All they do is blame their own courier company. I personally think it is a con and they have no intention to refund customers. I ordered the same mitre saw from Amazon and had the item in 48 hours. I should have done this befor and avoided 4 weeks of empty promises.

Not the first time I have had trouble with Power tool world and I was only using a voucher given to me as compensation but did not expect next day delivery to actually mean next week thats after it taking over a month to get the first order correct. I certainly will not be recommending or returning to power tool world.
