Hi, we are sorry to read this review & on investigation we can see from the tracking that our carrier (UK Mail) have attempted delivery twice , leaving a card both times before leaving your item at the local pick-up shop. As it was not collected within seven days it is being returned to us. On its return we will contact you to arrange either a redelivery or refund. Regards - Dave (Powertoolworld)

5 weeks ago I brought the 'Dewalt 2nd fix' gun. I have not been able to use this tool yet as it has been in the repair shop since the day I brought it; I received this item faulty. I asked for a replacement as soon as I attempted to use it and Power Tool world would not honor the 30 day Dewalt money back guarantee. I strongly suggest that NO ONE BUYS TOOLS FROM THIS COMPANY. My issue has still not been resolved and it has cost me hundreds.

Hi, we are really sorry that your nail gun developed a fault but as Dewalt do not operate a 30 day money back guarantee this became a warranty issue. Paid extra for Saturday delivery and product arrived damaged. Emailed immediately and heard nothing for 3 days. Eventually had an email back telling me to try and fix is myself. Called to get it replaced and was told the only way for them to replace was for me to wait in ALL DAY. I'm a trader and wanted this tool for a job urgently, just ended up wasting my time and dealing with a very rude sales manager. Very happy to take your money, but after sales is terrible.

Item not delivered and to date have not received the item despite having made powertools aware. Andy of Powertools whom I have been dealing with is unhelpful, condescending and lacking any ounce of customer service or relations. I wont be buying from Powertools again due to extremely poor service. I may have to raise a PayPal Dispute just to resolve the ongoing shenanigans.

Hi, we are really disappointed to read this. On investigation we can see that your parcel has been delivered & signed for. We have raised a `signature dispute` with our courier (UK Mail) which takes three days for UK Mail to investigate. We have communicated this with you & will continue to do so until this is sorted. ordered a tool, arrived fine. used for less than an hour and broken. Couldent get through to number for a day, emailed was advised I would get a reply within 24 hours. useless when you need a tool to finish a job. Response received was that I can send it off or drive 2 hours to my nearest service centre to have it looked at..... terrible service received from the call centre, would have appreciated someone trying to help and possibly feeling the needs of someone that has used a brand new tool for 30 minutes....... better off paying a touch more and buying from screwfix that will take anything back and exchange instantly within 30 days.

Hi, we are sorry that you could not contact us but having just relocated our warehouse we have had an occasional phone connectivity issue. Regarding your nail gun & the urgency of your requirement we suggested taking it to your local Hitachi repair centre who could have rectified it immediately, which you declined. First router delivered was damaged. A replacement was promised the next day, but courier lost it. Still waiting.....

I was order Makita Saw DHS680Z GREAT SAW Quick delivery + they recommended Makita Saw for £12 but When the parcel was Arrived I can't fit the saw to Makita Case :(:(:( also I order extra blade & blade was missing :(:(:( poor customer service :(:(:( very poor.

Paid for next day delivery as i needed the item for next day, there delivery arrived at night. when i have contacted been told still its next day as we are working until late. will never use them again as they are charging for service which they can't provide.

Hi, as discussed, you placed your order on Monday & received it on Tuesday (albeit late in the day). The only way you could have got it sooner would have been to pay extra for a 10.30 am delivery. Beware ! I purchased a 18V makita planner and dust collection bag from power tool world on line. The price was really good, it arrived on time and was a genuine product, no problem. Here's where it went wrong.. I decided I didn't want it because two blade changes and re alignment I thought would be a hassle compared to the festool which has a single blade and does not need to be realigned with the base plate. Also the lack of instructions to do so. I put it back in the box unused in its original condition and sent it back via tracked courier. which I paid just over £7 for. They received the item and refunded me only £125.03. it showed on PayPal as a partial refund. So £4.95 had been deducted?! Why? I don't know. . I called them and the guy said we deducted £4.95 for carriage and packaging charges which we incurred when we sent it to you and this is in our terms and conditions . I said this is an unfair terms and conditions because no amount has been specified and delivery was not added to the goods. I mean you could charge me a £100 and say this is what it cost us to send it and deduct it from my refund' this is redicules! He said that's how it is and then pretended he couldn't hear me and put the phone down. I contacted PayPal and started a claim I also contacted trading standards and citizen consumer advice . They said under the distant selling law sellers can not impose a penalty or charge on the buyer if he returned the purchase in the same unused condition in 14 days. The seller has to pay on way postage not the return postage of course if the buyer changed his mind and there is nothing wrong with the product. PayPal contacted them and then they returned the £4.95 back to me. I hope this helps.

The delivery period selected was 1 to 3 business days, order was dispatched 26th September using the courier UK Mail. On the 27th I was emailed by UKMail that it would be delivered that day. It was not delivered. On the 28th I was emailed by UKMail that it would be delivered that day. It was not delivered. On the 29th I was emailed by UKMail that it would be delivered that day. It was not delivered. On the 30th I was emailed by UKMail that it would be delivered that day. It was not delivered. On the 1st October I was emailed by UKMail that it would be delivered that day. It was delivered at last. UK Mail Website always showed delivery on the 27th even as each day come and went, I emailed UKMail and Power Tool World. UK Mail never replied, Power Tool World just sent back the same information from UK Mail until the 30th September, not very helpful. On the 30th Power Tool World stated they had asked for priority delivery, this caused it to go to the back of the queue and it was not delivered. It did come eventually on Saturday 1st October. What I object to is I had to have somebody stay at home for 5 consecutive days and this was never taken into account. UK Mail are useless, they deliver to me regularly and their failures significantly outweigh their successes, package lost for 6 months, a next day delivery takes 4 days and so it goes on. The whole event was a dismal failure.

Hi, we are really sorry that our courier (UK Mail) let us both down with this delivery. As we discussed, the UK Mail delivery vehicle broke down on two separate days & consequently they had two days where our delivery was `Out of time`. Unfortunately when we asked UK Mail for tracking updates we were also given the wrong information. We asked at 4pm on Friday for a priority delivery which was completed on Saturday morning. WARNING!!! Terrible delivery service from UK Mail. Very difficult to contact! (Missed You) note posted through door was left completely blank! Parcel delivered to a neighbour the next day. No delivery note posted through door to notify me so had no idea where parcel had been signed and delivered. Very unprofessional

Hi, we are really sorry that you are disappointed with the delivery of your parcel. To be fair to our courier (UK Mail) , they attempted delivery within 24 hours of you placing your order. As you were out they left you a card & you subsequently rescheduled the delivery to a neighbour. The delivery was made within 48 hours of you placing your order on a 1-3 day service. I contacted you via the online form for further advice on a Dewalt combi drill as your website encourages you to contact for professional advice on a product, I got a response simply enclosing a link for me to register with power tool! No review as I'd asked for! Very poor customer service, I'm no further forward and have now been told I can't pay for my products with 2 separate cards! What is wrong with you lot! Very sloppy customer service, almost like you are pushing my custom away! I was planning on spending £160+ with you but now I'm not sure, especially after reading other reviews regarding the poor quality courier you use. Your comments would be appreciated!!

Hi, when you contacted us, we provided you with login details in order that you could access our customers reviews of the product on our website with a note advising this. In the same email we also advised you that whilst we accept prepaid credit cards only one card per transaction is all our system allows. I bought a tool which arrived in good time.....a good start. The tool was unfortunately faulty so I contacted Power Tool World to ask for a replacement but was told I would have to pay for the return postage and have it repaired. ...now this is a brand new tool were talking about. I decided to contact the manufacturer who did repair it but at no cost to me.When I received the tool back I was surprised that the performance was nowhere near as good as it's equivalent competitors so I contacted Power Tool World to ask for a refund or exchange as the tool was not fit for purpose. I am still waiting for a reply. Very poor after sales

One item from my order was not included in the delivery. Customer service claimed it was dispatched and therefore not thier problem. I'm now £75 out of pocket. Avoid this Company!

Made orders over 2 weeks that came to nearly £400 the second order was for a dewalt drill box and charger, i asked on the chat line what Dewalt box fits the drill i was buying and was given 2 choices saying both of these boxes fit! when it came the box i had did not!!! I have asked on the chat line and by phone and the guy has said they don't actually do a box for the 995 drill! but although i asked the question before i purchased the box and got the answer 'either of these will fit! ' they now say its my fault and i must return the box at cost to me or buy an insert foam piece! The guy [Stan] has the worst customer support skills i have ever heard! take my advice and use a company that is helpful and knows what its talking about and is not just interested in taking your money. Worst customer services i have ever dealt with ! and people i know would say i am the last to complain!
