At the moment very very disappointed with the service. After buying a Metabo asa 20 on the 28th May 2025 I have tried to send 2x emails and made 6 phone calls, as on the 9th June 2025 it stopped working!! Unable to get a response

Packaging of the item was insubstantial, it 'rattled' around in a thin box. I believe this may be the reason for the damage to the body of the product. Battery showed signs of heavy use, far beyond that of a QC process. I can only assume that this had already been returned and Power Tools were trying to resell. Unimpressed so far, will await and see if the replacement arrives and what condition this is in.

Not saying anything about it company. But bordering second time. And delivery its very bad. First time is arive late 2h. No message or anything. Second time should be 4pm, and not arive at all. Still waiting

Unfortunately, the time slots provided by DHL are only estimated and deliveries can arrive later or earlier than the allocated delivery slot. Road closures, driver sickness, traffic & vehicle breakdowns can all impact when orders arrive. Terrible customer service. No attempt to rectify issue until faulty one received. Wrongly expected a replacement to have been sent at same time as pick up of faulty one. Avoid and use local suppliers.

WELL - I ordered a Makita power tool. And I waited and waited. I emailed DHL - they ignored me (nothing new there I hear you say). I emailed Power Tool World. They told me DHL had lost the product but don't worry we will send you a replacement next day delivery. Still nothing !!!!

Misleading by listing items in stock to sell with next day delivery only to be delivered 10 days later. Contacting customer service was a waste of time as they didn't care at all. Buy from other website if you need your tools urgently.

Overall, the charger is quite slow and I decided to return it. It's almost impossible to get in touch with Power Tool World. After a week of messages I finally maneged to speak with a woman from Customer service. She said that I cannot return it because I used it even just once. I'm very disappointed.

Let down by DHL. Paid extra to get a Saturday delivery and I was informed that the product was with DHL and on its way to me yet they failed to deliver and their customer service was awful. I purchased the product elsewhere as I had a job to do on the Sunday it is now 10 days later and I am still awaiting a refund. It is a shame, PTW did their bit and eventually their customer service team came back to me three days after I left them a message, but DHL’s performance and delay in refund provokes this score.

The Makita drill I bought from POWER TOOL WORLD was sent to me in awfully poor packaging A box that barely covered the dimensions of the product which collapsed in transit and a single sheet of bubble wrap which did not even cover the drill and arrived with every bubble burst was evidently insufficient Even if my purchase worked on day one, any issues that were not immediately evident due to the shoddy packaging, may cause the item to fail prematurely. So I notified PTW of this issue hoping that they would listen and learn from this and change the way they packaged items to protect future customers from potential issues Instead I was told that the packaging was fine and they would not change their packing - which means they would continue to send out items in this way irrespective of the potential damage to the customer’s property I was told I could sent it back at my cost and get a refund or a replacement sent out with the same packaging as I have just received neither of which was a satisfactory option I understand that we all make mistakes but those that listen and learn from issues and respond positively will succeed. Those who don’t typically fail I would suggest that prospective customers of Power Tool World think hard about the way in which their property is sent and decide if any £s saving is worth the lack of customer support and their disrespect for a product worth about £100 I would also suggest to Makita that having companies like Power Tool World as an apparent official reseller be reviewed given the potential issues they carelessly and casually cause to their hard earned reputation and company name Personally I am not going to buy from Power Tool World again. They do not deserve any margin they make from the sale of carefully designed products that other companies have invested in
