Rubbish service got my parcel opened and no brackets and end supports in the box and still not received a replacement

Terrible customer service. I only ordered from here as the website kept popping up saying that if I ordered by 4pm I would get the order the next day (saturday). I did this rather than going to Screwfix, etc. as I needed it urgently. It didn't arrive the next day so I waited for the following Monday and Tuesday, still nothing to I emailed in and was told the system had me down for the following Saturday as I had paid extra for Saturday delivery and I ordered on Good Friday and the site wasn't clever enough to know the pop-up shouldn't be shown. The email I received back didn't even apologise and I had to email again to get the Saturday delivery premium I had paid back. I didn't even get an email back about that, just a refund. Shocking attitude when consumer law and advertising standards breached.

I paid for next day delivery and did not receive the item. I waited until the following week and still no delivery, when I contacted yourself 's only to be told there was no next day delivery and that the purchase would be delivered the following Saturday, I was told that it was a bank holiday weekend and there was no next day delivery. I feel that your system should have explained that. I have spoken to Amazon and I do believe that they have contacted your company. Amazon contacted me and said that you would contact me,I feel that I am entitled to the delivery charge that you charged . Regards Jeff Phillips

Hi, thank you for your feedback. I can see that you placed your order on Good Friday with a Saturday delivery option. Sadly - as per our Easter delivery options page - this service was unavailable over the Easter weekend, which is why your order was held until the following week. When this issue was identified we shipped your order on an express next day delivery service. I can confirm that we have since refunded the Saturday delivery charge to you. Worst customer service I have ever witnessed. Placed order with next day delivery on 8th April but still haven’t received a working drill. Will never shop here again.

The Makita Miter Saw developed a loud noise as it was switched off. Phoned Power Tool World and was told to contact Makita. Surely if something goes wrong within 7 days of purchase it should be the retailer that resolves this matter.

Hi, thank you for your feedback. I am sorry you felt our support wasn’t helpful, but I can confirm that we did speak with you at length on this matter and forwarded an instructional video to you also as well as liaised with Dewalt on your behalf to showcase the error made on initial setup. The guiderails are not delivered “ready to go” out of the box and do require some fine adjustment by the user upon receipt in order to work as per the manufacturers instructions. We are sorry for the confusion regarding the missing 110v plug but these tools are supplied without a plug direct from the manufacturer as with all power tools rated at 1900w or higher as standard. Never buy tools from this company absolute joke i bought a impact driver opened box. tool did not work phoned powertool world they said nothink to do with them so now i have to go threw dewalt but dewalt said powertool world should replace because its never been used so looks like powertool world dont give refund

Item sent to a premises that no longer takes in parcels, I went to collect to be told the no longer takes deliveries, my choice was to drive 22 miles round trip to depot or cancel & reorder, they couldn't just send to my house, we are still waiting for refund , I do not intend using power tool world again !

Hi, thank you for your feedback I can see from our dialogue that you sent the order to a drop off shop that no longer accepts deliveries in this manner. In this regard, the order was sent back to us by our courier partner as we are unable to change delivery addresses on orders once despatched. I hope this explain a little further. I ordered just under£400 worth of power tools on the 27th of December, I made an enquiry on the 30th of December to ask when I would receive my goods to which power tool world replied they’ve been dispatched today you should receive a tracking email tomorrow and you will get them Thursday 2nd Jan. Guess what no tracking email And no power tools and no reply to my complaint I sent today.The job I had lined up I had to cancel, I’m now wondering if I’ll receive them at all.

I find your site kind of irritating. You advertise a wide range of Makita tools, but when it comes to actual purchase, I find they are "out of stock". Why advertise them if you don't actually have them?

We do try to keep a full stock of tools available to order at most times but December is notoriously tricky to do so. I live one mile outside Aberdeen which is Scotlands third largest city. Apparently I live in the Highlands! The delivery charge is ridiculous. Normally the delivery company which you use gets the blame as it is their standard charge. This is nonsense as all the big couriers deliver to here from many online companies at no extra charge. You are losing a huge amount of business. I have just ordered two Dewalt batteries from Amazon. A bit more expensive but free delivery means it ends up much cheaper.

Could not order on line. Tried two different web browsers, neither could link to my amazon account. Neither could allow me to check out as a guest or to register an account and check out. Shame, good site and good prices, shame you can't buy anything.

I don't recommend to buy from this seller. I ordered a Dewalt level laser and I paid for it £150 but I didn't received it. After I contacted them, they said that the courier was to the wrong address and the item was refused so they made a refund of £142 instead of £150 as I paid for it.

Powertool world are great when it comes to buying new tools but look out when something goes wrong! I purchased two Dewalt nail guns off them on 1st October, 2019 and today 3rd December, the one packed up. I rang Powertool world and the chap said they are not suppliers only go-betweens!! - Not worth arguing the pros and cons of the consumers act so unless you want back up don't buy from these people. I certainly won't be. As a registered user of Dewalt tools and regularly feature on their product site I will also take the opportunity if it arises of mentioning good and bad suppliers.

Bought the Hikoki 1st fix nail gun NR90GC2. I'm a pro carpenter & use pro tools. This didn't work out of the box. Returned to Hikoki who said it worked. Returned to me and working poorly and interment. I hold the trigger the nail fires 4-5 seconds later if at all. In short powertoolworld not interested. I've thrown this in the garage and I'm buying a Paslode from another retailer who were more helpful when I spoke to them about a product I didn't even purchase from them. I was told by powertoolworld; trade to trade? You make your choice. I'll be going elsewhere in future.
