Very disappointed that Power Tool World did not live up to its statement that they would try to match a competitor’s price. I bought a hedge trimmer from PTW for £288.99, only to find that on the following day a competitor (Alan Watkins Ltd) were offering the identical product at 5% less, ie at £274.55. I contacted PTW who turned down my request for a price match. In future I shall never use PTW again. Trevor (Leicester).

Item arrived faulty return for a replacement, then waited over a week to get a refund, they said they have none in stock n they have what a mess indeed

Tried twice to purchase a chainsaw. 1st time it arrived damaged. 2nd time it never arrived. It was claimed that DHL lost it. Not the best experience I have ever had purchasing power tools.

I ordered a battery that didn’t arrive, courier company claimed it was refused at the door. I was given no explanation when I called to find out what happened. They refunded me but didn’t let me know. Zero communication so no stars.

I never got the nail gun, after multiple postal dates I had to cancel the order, lies after lies as to where the delivery was and the final straw was leaving work to go home and wait for a delivery that never came.

Ordered makita impact wrench sockets (for scaffolding) the new sockets don’t work with scaffold fittings. Therefore didn’t do as stated and power tool world would not accept a return even unused and still in original packaging. will never order from here again

I paid for next day delivery After 3 days I contacted the site when my order hadn’t arrived I was told that there was a computer error & hopefully it would be out for delivery soon I’ve spent around £1000 on this site recently & I don’t think I’ll use it again any time soon
