“Package arrived day late although I was advised by email of this. The jigsaw is great, my only slight concern was that the accessory pack had been opened but everything seems to be there”

“The lady i spoke to at Customer Service before I placed my order was very friendly and helpful. Delivery wad prompt, but sadly the box was badly damaged. As this is a Christmas gift I rang Customer Care and asked for a replacement. However as the goods inside the box weren't damaged they told me they couldn't guarantee that the replacement wouldn't also be damaged. They offered me a discount of almost 10% or a refund. As this was the present my son had asked for, I had to accept the discount and patch up a damaged box! Not the outcome I wanted! My suggestion therefore is that goods are not sent out just in the manufacturer's box, but with an outer safer packing, or change your delivery company? Other than that, no complaints but the item is a Christmas presents so vmcannot comment on whether it works or is what it says.”

“Bought a Dewalt nail gun , unfortunately had to return after 1 week faulty gun , of which you replaced thank you , however the replacement one appears to have same problem , will contact again perhaps bad batch from Dewalt ?”

“Tools are great and at an exceptional price, however please work on your packaging. Two boxes arrived open having clearly not being taped shut...in fact there was no tape on the boxes. Nothing was missing but had there been smaller items they would have fallen out of the packaging in the delivery van. Even the driver commented on the poor effort made to make the items secure.”

“A somewhat urgent order needed for a friend. Delivered reasonably swiftly. Disappointed in the delivery costs - because I live outside the "free delivery" zone - makes the very reasonable prices not so reasonable. Sad that I only find out about the delivery costs when at the payment stage. If I had more time I would probably have looked and bought elsewhere. More work for the staff but cheaper for the customer to use Royal Mail - about 1/3 of the delivery costs.”

“Service was quick and delivery was excellent, I only wish I was recommended the correct storage for the item I purchased or not recommended at all, and in hind site I should have seen what Makita recommended, I didn't and it's now a struggle to pack the saw away each time in the type 4 Makpac, I looked in to returning but the cost was too much to make it worthwhile”

“Generally satisfied with service. However, I was dismayed to discover that the main item I purchased was available £20 cheaper the very next day. Also, my ancillary purchases could have been obtained cheaper elsewhere, but it was more convenient to order from one supplier.”
