Ordered before 2pm on a Sunday for Monday delivery as this was urgent, the item was sent as promised but the courier who tried to deliver on the Monday said no one was home which is a total lie, the delivery address was a private house but a building site that is covered by comprehensive CCTV and no driver came on that day!! Then tried to call powertool world which is a total waste of time as no one ever answers the phone eventually you realise that the recorded message saying to email is the only way to contact them which then took 2 days for a reply. Had to drive and collect from the delivery company. Certainly won’t be using power tool world again.

They use a very unique DHL delivery method that does not allow you to say deliver to a neighbour or collect from a depot or collection point so after 2 attempts I e-mailed and they were very helpful and said a not had been made to deliver to a neighbour but next thing I get a credit e-mail so I can only assume it went back, which seems an awful waste of money and resource for the company, and I don’t have my tool, I have now ordered fro another company that I know uses a better delivery service. But if your always in then great price, helpful customer service are always a winner!

We are truly sorry you experienced issues with our courier delivering your parcel, this is never something we wish for our customers togo through and 97% of our parcels are delivered as expected. Our chosen courier does have various delivery options available such as 'safe place' and 'neighbour' deliveries so we're unsure of why this option wasn't available to you however feedback has been provided to our courier for future orders. Due to DHL attempting delivery on 3 occasions, this order was returned and a refund actioned to prevent any further delay from happening. The goods that I ordered were as advertised. Can’t really go wrong with Makita tools. BUT, this is the 2nd purchase made through Power Tool World recently and neither were delivered the next working day as advertised.

Great prices and range of products and I’m sure when their systems are working properly they are one of the very best, but from my experience when things don’t go to plan their customer services seem to fall short.

It was good, they sent me a tool but... I don't like getting spam email and I'm getting a lot of it as a result of buying from power tool world. In this competitive marketplace for selling ots products, spamming people to get reviews is a bit of a decider.

To be fair the service from Power Tool World was good. However there was a total shambles with the courier company. I paid £9.99 for delivery and after a week it was still not with me. They despatched another unit supposed to arrive the next day but didn't then updated to arriving in two days time. I couldn't wait any longer and got one next day delivery from Amazon. Wish I had done this first as it delayed the job. Try to use smaller companies as much as possible to avoid using Amazon. The customer service from Dan at PTW was excellent though.

When I placed the order it didn't say it was a made up kit. So declined from Makita a free battery 1x BL1850B (632F15-1). Could have purchased from another dealer and received the free battery. Power Tool World did offered to take it back, but I had already tried out the tool. Thank you for taking part in the Makita Free Gift promotion, your application for your 1x BL1850B (632F15-1) has been declined, for the following reason; Dealer made kits are not applicable/do not qualify

The status of my order was Picking for nearly 72 hours. Not enough Staff? Customer Service very slow to respond to emailed query regarding battery charger. Not enough Staff? Ultimately decided to throw away charger that was clearly faulty and go elsewhere.

After getting in touch with them about the issue the day after i received it was asked a couple of days later to do a video of it in use because they and Bosch needed proof and have heard nothing after a week

Parcel went missing. Process to resolve took far too long and my emails were eventually ignored/not replied to. Had to escalate via Paypal to get resolved and receive my money back.

One of the batteries is a doa and not very useful help from ptw cust services, I have only ever had 2 doa bosch batts in 15yrs!! And to say its a faff to get this changed over under a week old is a nightmare, i may just chose to not deal with ptw (cg fixings) after this fiasco, I have been loyal to them for yrs and they shun folk like they have!! Disgusting

I ordered a Makita impact driver. I expected a new product in original packaging. I received the impact driver in a plain white box with two scrappy pieces of bubble wrap offering no protection whatsoever. Because of this it appeared it was either a return or ex demo. Having spoken to the customer service team they assured me that this was a new unit, and this is how they supply product if the customer purchases a body only. I suggested that if this was the case then they should make it clearer on their website. Their response was that they do not have to! This is probably because if they did nobody would purchase them! I still find it hard to believe that Makita, who probably spend millions on product packaging, conformance, environmental and approvals allow them to simply take their product and send it out in a plain white box with a couple pieces of bubble wrap - But apparently, they do! Shame on you Makita. I have given a 2 as i believe they are no being up front about what they are selling.
