I purchased two items, my first order came through as promised, brilliant service, my second purchase the item I was told would be delivered on Thursday 16th By DPD UK, I waited home from work as I did not want my item left outside, my item did not arrive by lunchtime and when I rang DPD Ireland, they told me no parcel was in Ireland for me, I tried to ring DPD UK but the wait length time was too long so I had to hang up, I could not get in touch with them through any other method as I did try, I then e mailed Power tool world to see if they could get any update on my order, and Powertool world did not even have the decency or good manner to reply to me, so very disappointed with their customer care, and after loosing a day off work I was better to have purchased my product at home.

Hi Martin, thanks for the feedback. We are sorry that this transaction has frustrated you & are at a bit of a loss ourselves as to why our courier partner did not deliver on the day they had specified & for that we can only apologise. Our customer service guys should have replied to your email of Thursday but as the tracking showed delivery first thing on Friday morning it was missed and again i can only apologise. Best price around ! Nice staff selling you tools. My order came lightening quick. Parts was missing in one box was told it would take a week or longer to resolve. I’ve ended up buying a new part that should have came with what I purchased. Another product has a defect and again was told it would take 7 day plus to resolve. Pre purchase 5 star but after care 1 star. shame really

I am sorry we have been unable to facilitate a quick turnaround with spare or missing parts, but in the current climate where the majority of manufacturers and our own Office staff are working remotely doing so is very difficult. I have had to make a return, paid £15 for it to be returned, sent an email to ask when I would receive a refund, but have heard nothing.

Boxes were opened, no packing tape on them. 2 items were wrong size. Good prices tho.

Delivery a disaster. Item got returned then told would be re-delivered then told its been cancelled and I would have to re order.

Some of the Makita items looked as if the containers were dusty. One power tool's metallic serial number tag was scrapped (which takes some force to do). The seal on the Makita container was broken and the other hanging off. All the packaging had to be re-done by the courier company. Plus being charged extra delivery because we come under "The Highlands" (which we're not, being equidistant between Aberdeen/Inverness) and on the coast, is not good at all. United Kingdom?

The item's that I ordered were fine but the delivery should have been next day which was Friday and they didn't arrive until the Monday, I also paid extra for the delivery and have not received the money back

I was surprised to receive my Bosch’s Chop saw work bench to discover that part of it was dented and that there were rust spots that had been painted over. To return I would have to arrange more time out of my schedule to wait for driver to collect and then again for the next delivery. Instead I agreed a £10 discount to avoid the hassle, not ideal.

I received an incomplete parcel and one item generally did not correspond to my order. I phoned the customer service and they told me, they had to check on the camera (CCTV). To date no one has contacted me. And I lost 20 pounds. thank you powertoolworld. After this experience I do not recommend this internet shop.

I bought 2 of the same item online and hadn’t realised that it wasn’t what I wanted. Returned the items but it cost me £13.50 to send the items back. I only paid just over £20 all together. I would have thought that some form of prepaid return label would have been made available with the returns process. This is not a reflection on the service I did get from them which was very good.

Not powertool worlds fault but the delivery services they use, twice after paying for next day delivery package failed to be delivered so I cancelled as I needed the product for a job I had booked in so I felt very let down

I spent a lot of money on tools I paid extra for guaranteed Saturday delivery as I bought them for a job that I booked in on Sunday in which only one item arrived And was told my delivery was rescheduled for the following Friday as power tool world aren’t available to contact at the weekend I had to do all the chasing around with DPD to try and track my order and re-organise another delivery in which I had to take off more time off of work . I paid £6.95 for guaranteed Saturday delivery they refunded me £4. I know it’s only £2.95 but out of principle I should’ve been charged for that delivery as buying my tools from this company I’ve lost money thanks guys

Clearly, our courier partners have had some issues with this delivery resulting in the delay in getting the goods to you as expected. I can also see that due to an administrative error we have only given you a partial refund of your courier charges. Ok, firstly I I’m still not sure if I have purchased anything from yourselves because I haven’t had any corresponding Emails to indicate this, also on adding the product to the basket and inserting my card details, there wasn’t any indication to say that it had gone through, and still don’t now!! Still left wondering if I have purchased anything from yourselves.
