Installation on the second day was great. The booking service was very poor. The whole process has taken from the end of January to the 24th of April to complete. I do acknowledge that our installation was not a typical installation. That being said we have received fantastic service from Amy Lambourne and the engineer who attended on the final installation date.

Engineer turned up on the right day. He was late due to traffic, but I did get a call. He was keen to help and pleasant to deal with. Unfortunately, the cable I had ordered didn’t get shipped to me so, while I have a charge point, I can’t charge my car with it. A wait of up to another 4 days for that to be rectified, according to Pod Point.

Our installer, Ian, was brilliant. Very happy with what he did. He was very professional. However, the correspondence with your team beforehand was woeful and slow. I had an electrician help me prior to the installation and even he was flummoxed by some of the questions and comments from your team. For example, we were told that we needed a type A RCD on our consumer unit. We were trying to source one, which proved extremely difficult, so I contacted your team for further help and I received no reply. When Ian arrived it turned out that we didn’t need one as it was on the consumer unit he provided! Also, we were upsold the 7kw option, but it turned out we couldn’t have one because of our set up. You should also send the cable to arrive before the installation so we can be shown how to use it. We have a nice new charging pod, but we can’t use it because we still haven’t got the cable! In summary, Ian was brilliant, but your back office support was dreadful.

Service pre installation was good. What made me unhappy was that the booking was scheduled for an arrival of 8am-10am. The engineer arrive at 10.30am. No phone calls were received to explain any delays. I explained that I had to be on a flight to Scotland in the afternoon and the lateness of the install has almost caused me to miss my flight time. Not very happy.

It took 3 weeks to get an installation date, which was then cancelled due to sickness. Then no communication on the day, and installer arrived 1 5hrs after time slot

It was very difficult to get hold of people on the phone when initially enquiring about the options. The call was either never answered or you couldn't leave a message. Email response was better but needs improving.

Pod Point fitting was done efficiently but the fitter had to rush off before ensuring the charge had internet connection. Strangely, he asked though for my router login and password which I cannot see why from reading the material he left. I called to Support and they said they would investigate and call me back but I have not received a call. I had therefore to alter my password. Still not able to connect the charger to the internet as the signal comes and goes from the charger even when I am standing directly by it. Sent a email enquiry. Again no reply.

The installation once it was booked was excellent, unlike trying to book the installation. The administration team were very slow in responding to my emails and I had to get the car dealership to intervene on my behalf on three occasions. Mind you they were very quick to take money from my account!

It was fine but they had to come twice as an earth issue. This was sorted by the guy on second visit who was fast and very good. Only issue is that I still have a small uncovered hole where drilled from understairs so the ' tidy up' wasn't so good.

My installation was good. The installer Eddy, was very polite and did a good job with the installation. Only issue I had was that the 10m charge cable I bought wasn’t provided as part of the installation. I assume this will follow. Otherwise a good service.

Easy to arrange- turned up and did the job to the best of his knowledge. However the engineer did tell me that the property wasn't earthed to the oil tank. He requested I get an independent electrician in to arrange this before the pod point could be signed off. I paid for an independent electrician to come around the following week, and he informed me that it was earthed and it wasn't necessary. Therefore I wasted £60. After the electrician talked to the engineer on the phone and a re-visit from pod point, it was duly signed off. Happy and not happy losing money when I didn't need to!
