After having to chase Pod point to organise when they could come out to fit the charger, 4 weeks after the payment and documents were sent off, they did not send out a final document for me to sign. I signed that, then had to chase again another 3 weeks later, to find out they needed more information but failed to get in touch with us again. Finally after another 3-4 weeks we had to make contact again as they, again needed another piece of information, in which no one bothered to contact us about AGAIN. No choice or option to choose the date and time of fitting. Engineer arrived, lovely man, very helpful. Sadly was provided with the WRONG home charger. So awaiting another reply as to when another engineer will be out to fit the correct one.

They charged me triple the price they quoted me originally. When you try to contact them and this you get no response about it. Although they are happy to discuss new orders. Be careful. The work done was very good but it did cost me triple the original quote.

The charging point is not working. I have had to call to check why this is the case. There has been no satisfactory explanation apart from telling me that somebody will get back. . I thought the system would work on the day of installation. And it hasn’t. Not happy.

Our Pod Point failed shortly after it was fitted with an exposed brown wire burning out the internal mother board.

It's a shame that the efficiency with which my payment was taken, was not matched with the OLEV and pre-installation process. This was terrible. Nobody ever proactively contacted me over issues with OLEV submission or Installation Dates. It was always me either waiting for 20 to 30 mins on hold or sending mails to customer support, that at best would get late, 1 line, ambiguous replies, that would leave me no better off. It was only at the 11th hour when I again got through to customer services with the intention of cancelling my order, that a chap called Nicholas Arkell saved the day! He resolved all the issues, contacted the installation team and retained my order. I can honestly say that buying the charger was more frustrating and complicated than choosing and buying a Tesla! The fitting experience however, was excellent. Top marks to Steve the fitter.

I ordered and paid for my charger 6 months ago and I still have no date for installing, and they never return my calls or e-mails. I have no idea if I will ever see my money again or a charger.

A nightmare to deal with. I have been requested 5 times for photos of the metre installation which I have sent them on 5 occasions. I still cannot get them to give an appointment to fit my home charger. Still waiting 4 weeks later.

Unnecessary delays and unhelpful staff. I believe you lied to me when cancelling the first installation appointment. Very poor service.

Install engineer created mud stains in entrance and porch, left brick dust inside from various drilling, used different sized conduit to contain cable route in the porch, miscalculated exit route for cable to external Pod so had to drill another hole, poor attempt at filling wrongly drilled hole and lastly left the area he worked in a poor state. No attempt to hoover or clean the mess from his actions. Still can’t believe how poor he was, his actions ruined the pre install and scheduling that was very good.

It doesn't work - software update was promised by customer services by noon & by 6PM it still hasn't been done. Car arrived on Sat so we've used the charger once to top up for maybe an hour & it's failed when we really need it.

Engineer did not turn up on date agreed despite texting me the day before to confirm he was attending. When I tried to charge my car for the first time (three days after installation, the pod point cut out after 30 seconds and so currently is not working.

The worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. Paid for the pod point in July and was only installed in November. Then we find the lead gets stuck in the pod point and they don’t want to know about it. Seems a common issue from searching

I am unhappy. My cable is locked into the wall and the car and cannot be moved. I have tried to contact Pod Point but to no effect. What do i do?

Wiring around house not neat and at one point there is a twist in the wire making the wire come away from the wall. Also wire could have been almost hidden in places if the retaining clips had been used the other way round putting the wire closer to the house.

Awful, simply awful. Whatever could go wrong has. In the first instance 7 months ago I was sent by email a collection of forms to fill in. I managed to get to page three each time, before it froze! Giving up on this, I printed out the forms and found that you required photos of the install site. I borrowed a camera and took 12 from each and every angle. So that you would have more than enough info. Printed and posted, done. Not hearing from you-you....I contacted you again just to see if all was well. The address where I sent the forms was a PO drop off empty building! No one had been in that for ages, you said! I awaited confirmation of their suitability, again. Hearing nothing I once again contacted you-you...awful people! In the mean time I was sensibly advised locally that you would NOT be happy to send a man and van 300 miles down to Cornwall, and would wait it out until you had several customers over the years, to install for. I bought a second hand large, extension reel. I could, charge up the car, through an open window. Halfords, do not sell battery chargers for new cars, I found to my surprise. And an offer to screw one to a wall had me unsure now. If the friend was expecting to buy and fit a Halfords one. I gave up after 6 months and requested a refund. Of course, it never arrived...Can't Pay, We'll Take etc sprang to mind. Crooks may take my money, but I'll get it BACK! Hah! And Volvo Truro phoned, just to see if all was well. I explained my Plan, and how I would keep his name out of it. I was furious and awaiting my day in Court. He was amazed, at the lack of Progress! Another set of forms arrived from you. I was tempted to just delete them, but as it may have influenced any legal moves the following month, I started filling them, again. Right through to the end! They, didn't freeze! I uploaded 12 photos and sent them. Too large it said and returned them. Deleted 9 and sent again. Done. I sent 4 and another 4. They all went. Then the firm failed to arrive to fit it. I rang them an hour later, to be told that the job had been moved to the morning, first job. I countered that we had been up since 5.30 and NO ONE had called! Ah-oh, his lies exposed he said he'd ring back! A while later a pretty young woman phoned back to say that they were 7 minutes away and running late. Fine. They installed it and as your Press release said how they fail and the Internet was so useful etc. So I had requested a twin 13A socket alongside! They had said a switch was required. No one had told them, or given them any such switch! A second visit was arranged to come and fit the change over switch and sockets. He did, and left. I stared at the install; where was the lock? With a wide open garage, the temptation to plug-in and charge up was covered by your LOCK. Where is it? He had forgotten that bit of the job and complained to me, for not reminding him as to what on earth he was meant to be DOING! And he was the Boss! As we are a long way from his depot he says that he will drop it off the next time they are down in Cornwall. Next week, next month, next year, whatever, I suppose. Then, they can expect instant payment for the additional cable used and the switch. I supplied the sockets. I have measured the cable, let's see them try and charge me for an inch too much! A nightmare from beginning...to...who knows when! (Your stupid form below allows me to chose how I communicated with you. Email and telephone!) (It gets better! Now you ask ME, to buy something called an Instant Gram to verify that I am sending you this annoyed, angry, impotent, rant!)

The unit was installed and I was told it was all working. 6 days later , telephone calls and emails still no one has come to fix it overall not a great Experiance at all.

Not COVID-19 conscious, zero social distancing towards us , we kept moving back and they didn’t get the message, they’ve caused damage to a door where they took a chunk out and put dirty stuff on our worktops, masks down by the chin the whole time and poor attitude with no customer service skills- rude on arrival and threw a hissy fit because he couldn’t get a parking space on the drive so had park within 20ft of the house instead, wanted to reschedule because the drive was being completed and they’d be in the way...(nowhere near the work area) so disappointing and won’t recommend. Inappropriate comments also made to me at the end. Will be making a formal complaint.
