The actual installation was absolutely fine. However, the communication in the FIVE months leading up to installation from the initial payment was beyond poor. Completely uncontacatable on the phone for installation, and email communication takes weeks on end to respond.

I can't honestly say that I regret choosing podpoint, however they failed at every opportunity. The installation was stressful and the unit still has issues which they will not sort out. No communication whatsoever. Very poor!

The response was very good before the installation on 3rd Nov, but afterwards when I had an issue there has not been a response to date. I was told that I do not need a key to disable the Pod Point device since I could do it through the app. But I have not found such a possibility in the app.

It took three months to instal the Pod Point charger to the front of the house. My house is not complicated but it seemed to take a level of complexity from the repeated questionnaires, additional emails and no-one to speak to direct. They had a Helpline but no-one answered it.

The location was changed on the day to make it easier for the installer, rather than the agreed point which would have seen us able to reach more of the driveway with the tethered cable.

I placed an order for a tethered charger with a 7.5m cable in August. Installation was made on 30th September by a very professional electrician who apologized that the charger only had a 5m tethered cable but his supervisor confirmed that the cable would be replaced with the correct 7.5m cable within a few weeks. Despite numerous emails and telephone calls, the issue has still not been resolved despite repeated promises. I would not recommend this company for your charger installation. I am still waiting for the works to be completed 3 months after Pod Point have taken my money and claimed the grant!!! All extremely disappointing.

The customer service from Pod Point was dreadful prior to installation. The installation date was delayed by the slow response of the Domestic Project Manager dealing with me. When the installation date finally arrived it was cancelled due to the unavailability of installation staff. Once the new date arrived the engineer that visited the property was brilliant and couldn't do any more for us and the installation was a very neat job which we was very satisfied with.

The initial installation visit was not good. No one had explained that we needed to clear our entire garage contents. This meant we could not get the installation completed in the allocated slot. The individual who turned up (EDF) was not very helpful, friendly and it was clear he had made his mind up before starting he was not going to do it regardless.

Took far far too long, unbelievably expensive for a very simple electrical installation and I had to "prove" that I actually owned the land where I said and signed for where the parking was ! That cost me a Land Registry search for no good reason. Also it was rather unclear that the connection would be from the external meter cupboard rather than the consumer unit within the house. The whole process is ridiculously expensive and the amount of data required totally nonsensical. Surveys should be part of the installation by the company, not the client. Only today I received the "installation certificate". Why does it take more than 48 hours for that ?

The podpoint didn't work correctly from installation on 8 October and it wasn't tested before the engineer left. I rang straightaway. I then rang 14 times, sent 11 e mails and sent 4 messages via the app. It took until 26 October for someone to come and fix it which took 5 minutes to change a wrongly fitted wire Very poor or no response from customer services and weeks to come out to fix a simple problem

Communication was very poor through the process. I sent multiple emails that were not responded to and when I tried to call I was not able to speak to a person, I just got a pre-recorded message and then it hung up immediately. There was no proactive communication at all. Conversely the installation on the day was great, Tony the installer was very friendly and explained everything clearly and discussed different options for the install. The work was very good and everything working well now.

Problems caused because pre installation was not sufficiently done. I sent photos as requested, including ground bonding. After the installation had been done on the day I was then told pod point could not be used as ground bonding would have to be up dated and that I needed to get an electrician to do this, and it was not something pod point would do even though I assumed they would at an additional cost. I should have been told this was not sufficient when the original photos were sent as you should have been able to tell this from the photos that were originally sent to you. After I managed to get an electrician to do the work and sent photos of the upgraded ground bonding I still had to make a couple more phone calls before I finally got someone to review the new photos that I sent in before the pod was commissioned.

Installation was smooth, but charging wasn’t tested and did not work. Been left with a charger than charges at 10mph and no action from the service desk for over 48 hours.

We waited nearly3 months for our installation. We were advised to have some extra work carried out to our fuse box, that never needed to be done as they bypassed the box. They wanted to charge me for a ladder and a person to hold the ladder for the operative to fit the cables. I got the work done by my son who’s a qualified Electrician it took him 10 minutes. Every time I phoned I was talking to people who seemed to be reading from a script, as they could not answer my questions and had to put me on hold to speak to a technician.

I want to be completely honest about my experience with the pod point order, I can not fault the installer he was very professional but the order process is a complete joke. The customer as to carry out the survey providing so much info with an insane amount of photos and electrical information, a normal company would appoint a surveyor to do this but this is not the case with pod point, just be aware of this because the whole process is very stressful

Slow service and constantly had to chase progress. Not really pleased with final finish and cannot connect to wifi with the unit.

The actual on line booking process was awful but POD Point accepted payment without any problem six weeks prior to installation

The process should have been straight forward but was extremely difficult. Email communication was very slow and in some cases sent to the garage rather than me. 3 Installers had to be used and each had a different view of what was needed. The process took 3 months when realistically could have been complete in 2 weeks

poor communication. took weeks to get sn installation date. tried 3 times to contact them vis phone snd email. we has a problem with our installation, our problem not theirs. installer said we would be contacted. 4 weeks later. nothing. called today. slow response to email is due to popularity of EV, well who would have guessed it. we had yo wait for the project manager to call us.

Not showed how to use the charger and had to email call chase it up .. eventually fixed at some point . Would have been better if it’s been showed how to use the charger soon after installation
