Personnel were all very pleasant. There were delays before the installation and many photos had to be sent. Day of installation - installer was very efficient but said activation couldn’t be done as I needed an additional earth wire to water. I was surprised this wasn’t picked up before then. He couldn’t install wire but said once electrician had been to send photographic evidence and charger would be remotely activated. Earth wire installed - photographic evidence sent with a request for completion invoice I could then send to Scottish energy trust. I was THEN told remote activation was not possible and it would be almost a further week before another engineer could call and activate. Yet again a conciliatory e-mail from Faisal and a very pleasant visit from Lee who was helpful and activated charger. Whole process was one hold up after another - actual service was eventually very good. However I still await final invoice I can send to Scottish Energy Trust. Can you also advise me exactly what I received for the additional £69 please?

It all took several months due to my electrical equipment needing upgrading and the first lockdown making it difficult to get parts. (No fault of podpoint) but it all turned out ok in the end.

The whole installation experience was carried out by ElectricCarCharge Solutions in Kent who were BRILLIANT. Lovely guys did the install. The team at the office explained everything to me. HOWEVER PodPoint were useless! Everything digital and not straightforward. Customer service was awful.

The charger was fitted on time and was fully working after installation. I think the height restrictions should be made clearer as u had to change where I put the charger at the last minute.

All good although the only thing that let the installer down was leaving all the brick dust after drilling the holes for cable ties. Surely you should clear up properly afterwards. Otherwise the installer was very professional and courteous and explained everything

Once we got through the installation team arranging the appointment the installation was very well done by James. Wiring and overall installation very tidy and excellent service from the installer himself.

Process has been shambollic to say the least - minimal information given at time of purchasing car, works unable to be completed at first appointment despite videos and pictures being sent via email prior and these being approved. 2nd visit the worker couldn’t find if the house had “earth” which meant he was all around my house checking / pulled off the kitchen kick board which had never been taken off before ... tonight I went to open my dishwasher and the kick board fell off... the clips have been snapped by the worker (see image) The worker himself was helpful and polite however quite annoyed about the process of this being installed & my kick board now falling off. On charging my car when the worker left I was disappointed to see it only charges 3 miles per hour and says it will take over 12 hours to charge my car ... pretty inconvenient

Rubbish left in garden and wood chippings left from the engineer core drilling the fence post to run the cable through. It’s installed so happy about that but a I bit of care wouldn’t have gone a miss....

Good product but communication could improve. Completed all the forms and waited a week with silence about next steps. Had to call the service line myself to find out they were waiting on me completing forms, which I knew nothing about.

Overall OK but scheduling could be improved and the need for bonding should be highlighted more so that customers are aware of the importance. The appointment was scheduled for between 8am and 12 but the engineer did not come until 3pm.

Pavlo arrived promptly, was very polite and efficient. He set up the PodPoint to the wifi. Pavlo installed the PodPoint exactly to my requirements. I'm very pleased. However, the ordering process was difficult. I had purchased a new Corsa e, but I didn't have the reg until 2 days before collection. It was not possible to complete the order as a result. I was then left to find a local facilities to charge my new car until PodPoint could arrange a fitting time, which was frustrating.

The unit was installed without our EV present. When I tried to charge it later in the day it failed with the red light showing. I contacted their support e mail which raised a case number. Three days later, no one had responded. I then phoned them and they said the system had automatically closed my case. However, they successfully cleared the problem by resetting the unit while I was on the phone.

The guy that installed this was lovely. However he was very inexperienced and the actual point cables are so tight the water seal screw that joins the cable to the box cannot be done up. He took over 6 hours to install and mixed the wires up so it took him ages to work out why it would not work. I am slightly concerned a guy with 5 weeks course and a months experience can come into my electric box and start attaching cables and adding earth points etc. Everything does seem to work the unit its self does not have the WIFI connection i thought it would. Its very basic and my husband is going to have to build a housing cover for it as i fear looking at it the weather will destroy it over a short period of time and the rain could do damage to the head of the connector as it does not seem to be very well protected and water could get in quite easily. As i say id does work lets just hope it continues to do so and not give us trouble.

The installer was friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately he had been given the wrong installation details by the office and so installed the wrong charger. He had to go and get the correct charger, remove the kit he had just installed and install the correct kit. We were not able to connect the charge unit to the house wifi as we could not find any point where the two signals overlapped so this task is outstanding. I will need to boost the house wifi signal so I can complete the process. The charger does however work fine.
