The actual fitting of the unit and associated wiring was ( fitted inside a garage) good, however after the installer had eft I had to clean up after him. Ie: picking up bits of wire/wire insulation that had been stripped from it and dust created from drilling holes in the course of the instillation.

The job itself was fine, but scheduling to far far too long, with multiple questions and slow (often about 5 days before getting a response with yet more questions).

Slow start..filled in OLEV grant forms but something was missing except on-one told me until I chased after a week. Photo upload was tricky - kicked me out as files too big. After submission 2 days later I wrote an email explaining the urgency of installation (invalid relative) then later same day received a call and schedule for two day later fit which i was impressed with. If you keep chasing, things should happen..

Overall I have scored the installation as average. The experience started really well when sorting out the booking. Email with suitable descriptions and images all seemed logical The only issue was the first installation date, I stayed at home for the allocated time slot, no show, tried emailing a couple of times and phoned but no one could help so they reported it to scheduling. At no time on the day of alleged install did anyone get in touch. It was a Friday. I emailed on the following Monday and Tuesday no contact at all. Wednesday an apology email with a booking the following Monday This installation went really well. Nice helpful Electrician. Very thorough. Very clean and tidy. Excellent

Great installation service and quickly done however don’t expect much support from Podpoint once installed. Mine keeps failing and no one is responding to me.

The pod point charger was nstalled before my new electric car had been delivered. It did not work when I first tried it out. After a call to the pod point support centre the charger was fixed temporarily remotely. An engineer is due to call round to fix the problem.

The application process was complicated and the level of information which needed to be provided in order to "install" was excessive given we as customers are not aware of the best way to install or the constraints faced in an install. Not that great an experience to be honest. The installer themselves Quickcharge LTD were excellent, they were reliable, knowledgeable and helpful. If they had been able to come out to discuss the install and recommend a method the process would have been much better.

Arrived on time, easy explanation and confirmation of works. Quick job. Trunking was not available for the longer internal sections, when asked where it was, apparently wasn't on job sheet? job done tidily, some cosmentic works still required to patch up broken areas of plaster where drill come through wall.

I was asked to provide a whole lot of information about my electrical facility at home, in the form of pictures and so on. I felt that POD Point should have conducted a proper survey and not put the onus on me to show that, for example, my system is properly earthed. The actual installation when it happened turned out to being done by another contracting company which made short work of the task and the POD is now properly installed and ready for the car when it arrives some time in August.

Initial service was great, but I was quoted ‘it takes about 2 weeks from payment to install’ several times - this is not even close. It takes over two weeks just to get through the paperwork. My process was 8/9 weeks until I complained and my install was moved forward. My car was sat unusable for nearly a month. To speed things up - Why not send your customers the home survey at the point of payment? You also only get one install date choice - accept or decline. It would be much better if I had more choice. The install went very smoothly.

Very disappointed with all the hoops you have to jump through to start the installation, even asked to take a picture of the brand of fuses in the fuse box and asked to take a picture of the earth straps on the water pipes (I think many people will struggle to carry out you instructions which involved many many pictures being taken and sent yourselves and asked to resend because you needed more information) the only godsend was the chap who came to install the podpoint, he was very polite and very professional, if the score was for him only it would have been 5 out of 5 but the constant hoop jumping before left me very frustrated.

I was only given 15 hours notice overnight of the engineer coming to install. Not giving me time to arrange someone to be at home The engineer was already on his way to me by the time he got the cancellation He did however install the Podpoint and Ian was excellent.

The installation was absolutely fine, very happy, however the after experience was less so. The device would not connect to the app, it had to be restarted twice as the installer had gone and set up the WiFi himself on it. Once it finally added I wanted to set the schedule which I couldn’t as there was an app bug on the iPhone version of the app. 2 phone calls later where the operator didn’t know the app had an issue (they really should be informed of any app issues) he had me restart the device again, logout of the app, re download the app. It took an email to the app feedback where I finally got the answer. However even now the app doesn’t show the total cost in the wheel like in the screenshot of the app. I’ve added the tariff info but still no summery of price, only kWh used. The device itself is great no issues, the app however is where I have found all the issues.

Ordering process bit haphazard. Paid & confirmed easily enough, but no proper invoice supplied, along with a quotation required for my EST grant, which should have been supplied earlier in the process. I had to chase this up on several occasions. Then had to contact the team to transfer the confirmed order over to scheduling & the grant was eventually confirmed. The installation went well apart from the fact that the chap didn't realise that I had paid for a locking unit & I had to notify him as it had been omitted. Three weeks later I received my Electrical Certificate & after another four weeks of phone calls, emails & Messenger posts my Paid Invoice appeared. I was finally able to submit the pdfs to EST & currently await grant reimbursement. Overall, I found the whole process drawn out, stressful & unsure whether I would recommend it.
