Installation was excellent. Placing the order and having to do my own Pre-installation survey etc all online was time consuming and stressful

I found it very difficult to communicate with and get through on the telephone lines poor communication.

The intial booking for the installation was horendous with no postive response from the call centre or any emails as to the date the egineer would attend.. Took a month to get a date. The subcontract installation company gave a very prompt and efficent installation. The engineer listen to my request for the appropiate position for the box to be mounted. He took his time to explain everything I needed to know to ensure I was up and running, including guidance with the app.

Device works fine. Less control and visibility of charging status in the app than I would have liked. Messed up the invoice and certification process, which is annoying as it causes problems with the Scottish Grant. I would rate an additional star if this was done right. The Point itself is not a pretty beast. The device with a fixed cable is tricky to look neat and in retrospect is a bit of an eyesore on the side of my house; however convenient. The installer was fine. Tidy enough.

Had to give installer raw plugs as he did not have enough, it was not checked to see if I could connect to the app(I could not), was advised I could still use the charger even if It was not connected to the internet

The engineer who turned up was amazing and, once I complained, the installation process was fast. It took several calls to get to this stage and the day before installation it was determined that I had to have a different KW point which was frustrating.

The initial set up is horrendous. For some reason They will not allow their operatives to go into the loft space. So I had to end up hiring an electrician to run the cable through the loft and their man only had to connect each end of the cable. Their people seem to be very capable and the Project Manager (Alice) who handled the installation was VERY helpful and the electrician who came to the house was also very competent. The just seem to have some very strange rules and regulations which was a real pain to me and must have been even a bigger pain to Alice.

The pod point unit is fine but we had a problem with installation in that at the first visit he didn't bring a unit and so needed to make another appointment to install it.

I was not impressed with dealing with Pod Point direct by email and on the phone. The process was very complicated for someone on their own. It also took a long time to finally get the pod point installed. However, on the day the engineer was very helpful and did a good job.

Not as smooth as it could have been.....the person handling my application left and my case wan't picked up until I phoned to find out about the delay. The phone staff were nice.

Customer service is shockingly poor, 10 minute minimum wait on the phone or emails go unanswered. Redeemed by the excellent installation.

The end result was very satisfactory and we are pleased with the result. The actual process of filling in the govt grant form, getting any extra information by phone and understanding a new system was baffling and quite stressful.

Install was excellent but the two months of chasing the provisioning team daily to get it sorted was not. I had a non standers install and seems like it caused some difficulty. When I finally got the quote there was no info as to what it was and then payment link also had to be chased … once’s I paid the grounds twam and installer were brilliant.

It took neally 3 weeks to have installed ,I couldn't get threw on the phone,to organise kept getting put on hold then the phone was put down had to escalate as I had the car delivered .Then they gave the installer the wrong length for the cable only 5metres when it was over 15 I had put this twice .luckily the guy who fitted it came back the next day and did a great job .

Once it was all sorted, the installation was very fast. However there was a 2-3 week wait between me filling in all the forms and anyone getting back to me so if you need one urgently you will have to wait a little for all the paperwork and grant applications to go through. Overall though, great company, easy forms and good communication once we were properly in the process.

I'm very pleased with the final outcome of my Pod Point charger installation. The initial on-line ordering process is pretty straightforward but I had to upgrade much of my electrics before the charge point could be fitted, I would recommend doing some research into what is required before paying upfront. The charger has now been installed; Mo was very courteous, kept me informed and completed the install in a timely and tidy manner although I've yet to use it as still waiting for my EV. My only criticism is that the original installation day was cancelled at 4pm the day before because I didn't respond to their confirmation phone call in time, I did not expect to have to reconfirm the appointment at such late notice.
