Really pleased with the installation service from Adam. He was friendly and happy to answer questions. In terms of PodPoint I found it difficult to be in touch with a person I could talk to and this was frustrating at times. The email suddenly announcing that our PodPoint would be fitted the following day with less than 12 hours notice was particularly annoying. Especially as it was accompanied by a message that stated unless I gave 24 hours notice of the need to change the date I may be charged a penalty. I had already stated that the best days for the fitting are Thursdays and Fridays. There's simply not enough personal service for such an expensive item.

Couldn’t get the charger exactly where I wanted it but clear precise and valid reasons were given. Chap was excellent.

I am happy with the whole process. Installation happened quicker than I expected. The only comment I have is the control switch was installed in a very awkward place under the stairs which I have difficulty in accessing ( I was not asked where to install the switch)

On the whole it's been a good experience but i've found it very frustrating you don't feature your phone number on emails to clients. I needed to speak to someone over questions re what i should order and when i finally made my order and added the surge protection device the online payment failed so i needed to call to make a manual payment but no phone number was given! The system then took payment twice for the surge device so i needed to call again (and I still haven't had the refund through). But the frustrating part is that your phone number doesn't appear on any of the confirmation emails sent through - even when i've paid and ordered something so am an active customer and even when you're asking me to call to make a payment! - so as soon as there's a problem/question or you want me to pay you i then have to search out the phone number myself which just makes the whole process even more frustrating for the consumer. Your installer Jack saved the day! He was friendly, professional, neat, knowledgable. A great ambassador for your brand and turned my experience around.

Pre installation process for fairly lengthy with lots of questions and photos needed but, Installation engineer was excellent,Solution focused and thoughtful. Pod point charger looks great with zero mess. Brilliant engineer!

Very pleased overall. While guided, nonetheless had to do the pre installation site survey myself. Quite a bit of form filling involved which took much longer than the 5 to 10 minutes suggested. I guess they have yet to move on from Covid, and given the price, I feel this should have been done by their staff, not me. When it came to getting the work done, all good though. Nick, their installer did an excellent job, exactly as I wished. That side of it was perfect and the home charging experience is very good.

Overall I feel like Pod Point did a good job for me. My review might be weighted a bit by the fact that I got the unit free with a Jaguar I bought. I might be less inclined to roll with any issues if I had paid for it myself. The process of getting the order moving was fairly good. There was a bit of confusion over whether or not I needed to get bonding done on the gas meter, or if Pod Point would do it. The confusion was only slight and it turned out they would do it, in my case. However, when the engineer arrived he said it didn't need any bonding due to it having a plastic pipe. I feel like the Pod Point form could have told me about that, and saved everyone some time. The appointment was arranged quickly, I'm happy with the waiting time. Although I was firstly given an afternoon slot, which Pod Point then changed to an early morning slot, so that was a slight bother... but again I felt like it was ok since I wasn't paying for it, plus the installation was being arranged quickly, and at least it wasn't changing the date. The installer was professional, polite and friendly. He installed it quickly. The installation was only done yesterday so I can only comment on how it seems within this short time. I checked the unit was charging the car before the installer left, and it was... but when I came back to the car 2 hours later there wasn't much charge in it, it seemed the same as a 3-pin plug charge... So I called Pod Point. The person I spoke to at Pod Point was very efficient and remotely looked at what was happening. He first said that it seemed like the charge had stopped short due to a fault in the unit (which he cleared) but then also added that the unit hadn't been set to full output power (so he also increased that power remotely). So... The efficiency in dealing with the issue was impressive, but I have to deduct a star because there was an issue, and I wonder whether some people might just not question the amount of charge and therefore might be getting slower charge than they could. Overall it was a good experience, just not 100% perfect and I wouldn't have expected any issues so soon after installation so I can't give the 5 stars. I'm less impressed with the Pod Point app, which seems hard to understand or doesn't do what it says it's doing.

The ordering and commissioning process was hard work, but once we got past that the actual installation was excellent. Matt, the electrician, was brilliant and explained everything on the day.

The installation on the day was very quick and easy and the engineer was friendly and polite, the actual Pod Point works well. We had to do some groundworks ourselves before the installation which can make things a little awkward, we paid for an extra 5m cable upfront which was quite expensive and I would prefer to pay by the meter on the day, the cable was sent through before the installation day and we pulled the cable through and laid it from point to point, I was told that if the installation took less than 3 hours we may be refunded some of the cost of the extra cable, the installation took around 2 hours but haven’t received anything yet. Over all though it is a good service and product.

We had quite a complex installation but the Podpoint project team were really flexible and made the installation as smooth as possible delivering the cables prior installation to enable works to progress. All working well now. Great job.

The electrician arrived on time and carried out the installation OK. He had trouble with the weak WI-FI signal, there was no mention on your order page, that I could see, that mentioned a need for a WI-FI signal. If it had I would found a supplier that used an RJ45 internet cable and/or a USB connector which would allow a connection to the in-house router, the installation being in the detached garage. Also, I paid £999.00 for the tethered unit, however, my KIA salesman Luke Burdett (01234245702) informs me that I should have had the KIA introduction discounted price of £929.00. Again no mention of this on your order website. Please arrange a refund of the £70.00 overpayment.
