“Obviously it was my error that I parked in the wrong place. Fortunately a very nice gentleman let us out without charge.
It wasn't clear the difference between long stay park and Plane Park.
When entering early in the morning I drove up to the barrier, which didn't open, so I pressed the button to speak to someone as advised but was presented with a ticket, thought, Oh good just take a ticket.
I had emailed Edinburgh Airport Paking and was not looking for Plane Parking to me the difference was not clear. Maybe if I had read the directions it was clear but unfortunately I skipped that bit, thinking I knew where I was going ! Please, for idiots like me make it more clear its Plane Parking and not long stay car park. Thanks I will use again and make sure I know where to go next time.”
“Super easy to use and the drivers (especially Eric) were exceptional. My wife lost her phone in the car park. Not only did Eric go look for the phone in his own time, he bloody found it and made sure we got it back after our trip. The other drivers we've encountered were all super friendly and yeah, the buses run well. Also there's always spaces - unlike the long stay.”
“No problems with the Parking actions either IN or OUT. The BUS Shelter Building could be made a bit more Draft/wind proof - a bit "Parky" in the early hours of the morning.”
“Easily found, easy entry although got 2 tickets from the machine! Excellent pick up, to and from airport with courteous drivers. Only issue was on leaving when one of tickets we tried with our reg on it didn't work but on trying the second stated we were due £100! Thankfully issue was resolved via the intercom and helpful assistant.”

“Couldn’t be smoother. Bus driver made sure we got his bus on the way in and driver was waiting at the bus stop on the way back. Both drivers were great!
My only suggestion to make it even better would be to add a couple more bus shelters further back -can be quite a walk in the rain with big cases.”
“Plane Parking would've had a 5* award, if only there was clear signing to indicate location of shuttle pick up, or instruction on booking detail (unless we overlooked it), on return from our holiday. This resulted in a trek to various points in this vast airport to find it. The airport staff that we encountered, on enquiry "did not have a clue"! We were exhausted after hours of travelling and did not appreciate this inconvenience. Finally, a very kind airport operative accompanied us on our trek and we eventually found the shuttle shelter for pick up to our parking space. The shuttle bus driver was very friendly and helpful and much appreciated. It was not clear that we needed our entry ticket to exit. Fortunately, we kept ours. Reasonable value parking. Perhaps just a little more information to customers re above points. Would use Plane parking again!”
“Should have been a simple process. Booked and paid in advance, to experience an issue upon exit from the car park, resulting a 15 minute wait with no customer update as to what was happening.”
Thank you for your review. It does sound like our ANPR system hasn't registered you on entry which has resulted in you being charged the non-booked rate on exit by mistake. I'm sorry that you had a wait before being able to speak to a member of the car parking team however I am glad you did manage to get it sorted at the time.

“Location of parking was excellent and value for money, fast pass for security was also great feature.
However entry and exit to/from car park was not good, barrier on entry did not work without using intercom and on exit insering ticket did not raise barrier and message said £150 owed to exit even although ticket was pre booked and paid for🤷♂️
Again intercom required to sort it out”

It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. This doesn't happen often but when it does, I understand the frustration that it causes.

“Moved to larger area but further out ,when in to park only 2 collection points /Shelters. Not as good as before but was dry on departures/arrivals so not so bad”
