Parking was fine, but clearer guideance on the process would have been helpful. As in you order the ticket online, but you then have to take a ticket from barrier to get access. But then what? Do I need to get the ticket validated before leaving, do I need to put it into one of the many machines before exiting, do I even need to use it on the way out? Is there number plate recognition or do I need to go to a machine to link my ticket with my car reg, so it knows that I've already paid??? All these things are unknown unless you've used it before. As it was you take a ticket to get in (there is reg plate recognition - which didn't work), then you should be able to leave by driving up and putting in the ticket into the exit barrier. No other validation is required. I did have to speak to someone as it suggested I owed £120 due to number plate recognition not working. Sorted within a minute, so only a very minor issue.

Easy enough to book on their website. Decent parking since you are using the existing parking facilities at the airport and not a farmers field 10 miles away. A few bad points though. After your parked and away on your journey try changing that booking!!! Not possible to do it. For example my travel plans changed and I was going to be returning a few hours later than originally booked for. There is no opportunity to change and add hours. Website simply states you have to pay the excess at the standard rate. Tried to call someone but trying to find a number is the usual needle in a haystack with these modern faceless companies. Eventually I stumbled on a number but when you try to ring it you find a dead line and a message that says “this number does not exist”. Long story short, when I tried to leave the car park via the barrier and entered my ticket it said I owed them £150. I had parked for two days and was 2 hours late back. The £39.99 original charge had already been deducted so presumably the £150 was the excess. Of course I was never going to pay that so I pressed the contact buzzer on the barrier station and explained the predicament to the airport worker on the other end. As soon as I mentioned “ plane parking” he twigged and told me it happens all the time. He lifted the barrier and let me go. So, to summarize, decent enough prices but don’t be late back from your trip !!!

Email said "Free upgrade to Long Stay Car Park" with directions, once I got to the barrier I was told via intercom to go to the multi. Asked if I could drive into the Long Stay to turn around - was told to reverse out instead so had to turn around and drive the wrong way down a one way street. Lunacy. Got to the multistory and again barrier did not work. Had to call again. Told to take a ticket, and that ticket would let me out later - of course this was wrong. Tried exiting and was told I needed to pay again, had to call the intercom who did let me out. Honestly was a lot of hassle that should have been avoided. I guess that there is no licence plate recognition system and you have to just call the operator to use, which makes no sense.

Good value and convenient. Very few accessible parking spaces. Although we had a blue badge, we couldn’t get a space, ok on our way out it proved difficult, it was late and icy,so we had to leave my relative waiting till we got back to her.

Not very well signposted, and directions and map on website direct you to a closed carpark (two closed carparks in fact) of which the furthest away one, has a sign telling you to head back and park in the long stay carpark. Would have been helpful if in any of the communications regarding parking told you any of this, instead of having us drive around the airport worried that we had been sold a dud, and we wouldn't get parked. Also would have been helpful to know that there are no longer any buses running from the carparks to the airport, so god help you if you have loads of luggage! Parking spaces aren't the biggest, as is usual for the uk, as they all seem to be sized to accommodate cars from the 70s like Cortinas and Austin Princesses. On the upside, parking seems secure and well lit.

Ok for parking but only problem no shuttle service so had to walk quite far from car park to airport in cold weather which is awful especially when you have suitcases and limited mobility

Parking is fine but NO buses. I am 77yrs old having to get an 18kilo case to the airport and on my return ,was what you call hard going ,never mind the rain. Unless the buses return I will not be using Plane Parking again.

The signage is very confusing. The red plane parking car park is closed and the car park actually has a blue sign - otherwise everything was fine

Although directions were good there is no “plane parking “ signage at the entrance to Edinburgh Airport Parking. So we drove around and found Plane Parking which has been closed for two years. I have reread my email confirmation and see nothing about being upgraded. Had we been tight for time this could have caused us a real problem. Suggest you either add a sign to the upgraded car park or make the new arrangements clearer in your email correspondence! A phone number to get clarification would also be useful.

Too long a walk to terminal when no bus operating and traffic jam on way to airport. Nearly missed our flight.

This is a good way to park and I have used this a few times. My recent oone could have cost me more than I pre paid as I made a mistake with the car parks. Would be nice to display more signs to help passenger get the right car park. As the normal long stay car park is still closed .

Several entrances at Edinburgh Needs clearer instruction to find the right terminal building rather than drop off zone or valet park Otherwise helpful staff

The location was not clear. But perhaps I mis understood. Parking was fine but I was also charged another £16.00 on return. I possibly would have got much cheaper at alternative location for parking however I paid the fee.

When we arrived the car was not registered but the man on the speaker at the gate helped us & got us parked up. On departure I it card in the machine to get out & it said I was to pay £176 which was not correct, again the man on the speaker helped us get out, he was a star. But the system is rubbish

I booked plane parking 3 months ago to find out on the day at the barrier that the plane parking car park was closed. Had to press tannoy button to speak to someone to find out what to do next. Was advised that we should have been notified that there was a change in car parks. We were then told to go to car park at the airport and we wouldn't be charged extra. Luckily that was the case but it would have been nice to have been advised I advance.

I opted for the longstay parking option at the airport. I paid £27 online. When I got to the airport, the signs were telling me £154 for the week. I called on their internal system to ensure that I wasn't going to have to pay more. I was assured that my booking was fine. On return, I put the card into the machine at the exit. £150 to pay! I called on their system and the camera had read my registration wrongly. Not good at midnight.

My flight was delayed by a few hours. I could not amend my parking time and therefore had to pay the same amount I paid for 5 days because of the delay. Having an option to amend arrival times at a low cost would be beneficial.
