“walked all the way to stance 10 to read a notice to go back to stance A at front of airport. A txt would have saved time and confusion.”

“Be careful with your timings or they will charge you extra. You are parking on gravel not tarmac and spaces are tight for getting in and out. Drivers are good and parking well signed.”

“Once again (this was not the first time) when submitting my ticket at the barrier it indicated I owed £176 having already pre paid, not sure what the problem is. However on contacting them I was let through.”

“Good prices but shuttle bus not frequent enough 15-20 mins wait if you just miss one. And only two bus stops - so can be parked quite far from the nearest. Another bus stop and 10min bus frequency would be better”

“Plane Parking represents good value in terms of spaces and shuttle bus, though the long walk from bus parking (for all services) to check in is a backward step. There are only 2 stops at the very large parking area, no zonal markings whatever, and broken ground between the rows of cars. which can bog down cases. Don't rely on number plate recognition only- you have to get close enough to the machine to be able to take a card, and the reverse on exit.”

“Will think twice about using Plane Parking at Edinburgh Airport again. The car park has been moved much further away from the terminal, there are only 2 bus stops for terminal pick ups, which are miles apart (not fun to walk to when it’s chucking it down and you’ve got a load of luggage!) and the bus does not wait at all at the terminal, which we noticed as we saw it pull into the stop and were frantically running across the road (again in the pouring rain!) only to watch it pull straight out after the passengers had disembarked. It’s cheap but there are better options where more consideration is shown to customers.”

“Plane Parking was easy to find, cheap price and the staff are helpful when pressing the buzzer for assistance. Only thing I was disappointed about is I parked right at the exit to the car park and the bus stop was about at the other end of the huge car park, the bus driver drove past me and I flagged him down at the exit because that was the way he was going anyway and thought why not just pick me up here since he was going by. He said no, pointed at the bus stop and then drove off. Lucky I was there with plenty of time until my flight, if I was running late this would have been extremely stressful. I had to walk all the way to the bus stop and wait for the next one to come by.”

“Well, I booked and paid on line, got in to car park ok but on leaving was asked for a further £120 by the machine. The helpful assistant at the end of the intercom could find no record of my booking....”

“The set-up turned out to be very simple, but the instructions given were somewhat confusing. I did not realise that this car park was unmanned, or that it is a good couple of minutes driving from the second roundabout, or that you would need to take a ticket on arrival. This last point is the main one, as there is no indication that the car park knows about your pre-booking. I therefore wondered whether I would have to pay the full amount upon return. As it turned out, all you need to do is put your ticket in the machine and there's no problem, so the system is extremely smooth. However, I definitely think that the instructions could be clearer: "When you arrive at the car park, the machine will give you a ticket. Hold on to this ticket, it will grant you access when you leave the facility."”

“Since last year Plane Parking is now even further from the airport terminal although the transit time is barely any different. What is more inconvenient is that it has a separate bus (used to be the Long Term Park bus) which has a stand considerably further away from where the LTP bus stops. Not good on a wet day but it's good and cheap!”

“Be careful, booked online all seemed fine, arrived parked had to wait 15-20mins for the bus, on return could not exit, machine wanted £330 for 2 weeks, the male on intercom blamed weather for not reading number plate. Really it was just raining. Be careful about incurred extra cost, always have your paperwork with you.”

“Plane parking is situated a bit further away from the terminal than I expected. The outward journey was fine, I had allowed plenty of time. However on returning to Edinburgh late evening, I had to wait a good 20-25 minute for the Plane Parking bus to arrive, in which case I would be reluctant to use Plane Parking again, even though it is a little bit cheaper than the Long Stay.”

“Everything went well ,when entering the car park, bus was there taking me to airport, the man driving the bus was sooo nice and friendly and very helpful , a asset to your company , but when exiting the car park I put my ticket in and asked me for 1.50 pds which gave me a fright as I had booked and payed and got a confirmation, so had to speak to someone regarding this so , but got it sorted but it’s the last think you want when heading home after your trip , if I book again I really hope that won’t happen again .”

“For the 2nd time in three weeks I've had to call for support as my prepaid ticket does not seem to get recognised initially. Why bother booking ahead only to get stopped from leaving the carpark and seeking assistance???????”
