It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. This doesn't happen often but when it does, I understand the frustration that it causes.

“Bought online for about £60. Wasn't sure I was in the correct csrpark. Very poor signage. When Ieaving put ticket in machine to discover I was to pay about £440. What the hell!!! Pressed the assistance button and barrier was raised. All ok after big fright. This is not on to give very wrong information. Ticket was in machine not returnable. And I was expected to pay about £440 which I don't have. What a panic!!! Please sort this out its very worrying that vulnerable customers could be faced with this.”

“This was the furthest parking we've ever used at Edinburgh airport but it was still a very good experience. Easy to find and access.
When we arrived, the bus was already at the bus stop and loading passengers to leave for the airport. The driver stopped to pick us up even though we were not at the bus stop yet.
When we returned, after midnight, the bus was waiting (for us) at the bus stop and left instantly. it felt like a private bus back to our car and was very appreciated when you arrive late in the middle of the night.”
“Everything was good until we tried to leave the car park. When the ticket was inserted into the machine and it indicated we needed to pay £185. We realised this was an error and rang the attendant who checked and raised the barrier for us. This is the second time this has happened to us and is a bit disconcerting when you have returned from a holiday abroad. Other wise we had no problems.”
“Parking was fine and car was good when we got back to it. Only negative would be how far away from the airport it is and that there isn’t multiple stops around the car park. We had a few bags and a child so was a bit difficult trying to get back to car with all the luggage from the stop.”
“Easy to park with plenty spaces. I use it regularly as its usually the cheapest option. Its a little further away from the airport but I find its often quicker with regular buses. Beware of other parking (Long Term Airport) that seems closer but has no bus....Covered walkway past Taxi rank takes you to bus stop”
“Easy to book, easy to find with directions given. I always add on 1 - 1 1/2 hrs from landing time to get us through security and arrive at carpark, this time however our plane was delayed due to strike action so we were over by 20 mins thought there was going to be an extra charge but no there is a grace period for these situations 😊
Shuttle bus was great 👍 drivers were chatty and informative

“There were no parking spaces when we arrived. I had to park my car out with a proper space. Putting it at risk of damage. Obvioulsy over subscribed. Then you have taken £20 more out of my account than was agreed.”
