The whole experience, finding parking, the cost was fine. Shuttle bus was good but nowhere to safely stow luggage. The spaces are ridiculously tight. The thing that shocked me most, was being asked to pay £176 charging when my ticket was refused at the barrier!

Not sure if I’d use this service again.! Upon returning and collecting my car keys. I queued up behind the other vehicles existing the Fast Park area. When i stopped at the barrier, not sure if my vehicle was recognised by the camera but I was the ONLY car that the barrier hadn’t opened for when approached…???? Strange as nobody else had any issues..?? People I had travelled with that I had used this service…???? My wife suggested that I had to push the button on the box outside my drivers window - I replied that nobody else has had too, and none of them had even had to open the drivers window…???? I even tried reversing slightly and then approaching the barrier again. So, I pushed the button and was issued with a ticket…..and the barrier opened for me to exit. As I existed the mini-roundabout to exit the parking area, I noticed another barrier which I had to stop at..? Another barrier…? Thinking that the ticket I have just been issued with at the first barrier was my ticket to get me out and homeward bound……NO..! Ticket Incorrect was displayed, so I tried scanning the barcodes on the label on my keys and the bar code from the receipt that I was given when I deposited my keys to go on holiday. Nothing was happening. I tried numerous times using in all possible directions to get my tickets scanned. Cars that had been stuck behind me at the first barrier all passing me and existing with absolutely no issues, stareing at myself and my wife with that look of disappointment at being made to wait behind me..I was beginning to feel very humiliated. Ticket box accepts the card and displays that I must now pay another £4 to exit…??? There wasn’t the function to call anyone for help & assistance on this now very drawn-out process, so I had no option to pay the EXTRA payment so that I could finally exit this nightmare. I hope nobody else has to go thru the same process. Yours disappointingly.. Gordon

The only plus side is that it is very convenient as it is right beside the airport. They obviously let in too many cars as cars were parked over yellow lines and on curb. The men on duty are rude and not helpful, we had trouble getting in and out and there overall attitude was that we were an inconvenience. Having booked online we thought it would have been easy but the barrier didn't register out reg plate and the ticket didn't work on leaving.

We were delayed for 24hrs due to a cancelled flight, but there is no facility to extend your booking, we had to pay an extra £20 for 1 day. Luckily i spotted that in the Ts&Cs or it would have cost me £40. I also had to keep pressing the buzzer to get attention, eventually going to the next barrier to try that intercom

Booking up fine, parking up fine, shuttle bus fine. All went well until trying to leave the car park. On arriving at the barrier I inserted my ticket to find that it requested a payment of £176 before it would let me leave! (this after I had already pre paid £39 for my 1 week stay.) I pressed the button to contact for help but could not contact anyone! Waiting at the barrier and not prepared to pay this, wondering what to do, the machine pushed out my ticket. I then reversed out and entered another barrier, inserted my ticket and again got a similar demand, I again pressed the button for help and this time it worked, I explained my predicament to the operator who was very helpful. He eventually remotely opened the barrier to let me out without paying the exceptionally ridiculous demand, I would be interested to know why this happened. G, Cartwright.

Good frequent bus shuttle into the airport. However - I had booked my car in online a week earlier but had to change the booking due to issues with the car. I tried to change the registration over on the online portal on the Friday evening for flying out the following Monday morning. The website would not recognise my booking reference and so I could not amend the booking. There seemed to be no way to make contact over the weekend - only an email address which stated they only work office hours Monday to Friday. What use is that for an airport that people are using 7 days a week? What use is that if you have a last minute issue to deal with? Only managed to resolve this by making a 2nd booking and finally speak to the guy on duty through the barrier gate buzzer when we arrived. I did manage to get refund but really - your website just takes you round in a never-ending loop. I wasted quite a lot of time and effort over the weekend trying to deal with what should have been an easy fix.

Weeks before I had changed my car. I updated the details for the new car. On arrival , no evidence of number plate recognition, so took a ticket. On return, at the barrier, could not exit. Spoke using button and discover my booking car had not been updated. The record was for my original number plate. I had been away for 2 weeks. System needs to be checked for updating data.

When I went to put my ticket in to exit..the ticket had the wrong registration plate number on it... the camera took the wrong reading and the machine wanted £175 to exit. It's not very clear on the ticket machine how to get assistance....

Booking was very easy and we found it to be the best value for money. Arrival was easy, the ANPR recognised our number plate, we took the ticket and entered. We found a parking space easily enough. We only had to wait a couple of minutes for a bus which dropped us off at the airport terminal without issue. The only problems we had were on the return journey. Having arrived in the dark, we had forgotten where the Plane Parking drop-off and pick-up bus stop was, it took us ages to find it and also one of the airport staff seemed to know where it was either. We found it eventually but we found the signage from Arrivals to be inadequate. Additionally, I tried to find a telephone number to call for assistance but was unable to find one,

When I arrived the ticket machine was broken, the front was hanging off. I had to push it open to retrieve a damaged parking ticket. Although a shuttle bus was promised in your booking paperwork, there was a sign in the car park to say the service did not exist. When I returned to collect car 7 days later, the exitv barrier remained closed. I phoned the intercom and a helpful and professional man checked my booking and advised that my reg had not been recognised. He allowed me to depart from the car park.

The price was competitive but on exiting the car park I was asked to pay £95.00, despite me prepaying. This seems to happen every time I use Plane Parking. I prefer NCP as a result.

My first visit to plane parking. I found it really difficult to find the entrance..Satellite Navigation took me in completely the wrong direction. Once found entry was easy and a ticket produced at the barrier. Finding a parking place was quite difficult. There are only two bus shelters. In Scotland climate thats really not enough.Long distances to walk to the shelters. But the buses will stop and pick you up.Airport drop off is quite far from the terminal at a not well marked bus shelter near the taxi ranks. Bus staff are exceptionally kind and helpful. On return iif you have prepaid ticket they wiill drop you near your car. On exiting the barrier with prepaid ticket push the call button to be ask for the barrier to be rised. You will need your booking reference or reg number. There are no parking bay numbers so pay close attention to where you park your car.Taking a photo might be a good idea.

The actual arriving, parking, shuttle bus and the reverse on return was all perfect. I cannot fault that. My issue was I required to change my vehicle and the on line booking system would not let me. I emailed the email address provided and have still not received a response. As a result I had to bring the car I didn’t want to bring which was hugely inconvenient.

The parking was great and secure. However when we left I was charged £120 even though I had pre booked my stay. Luckily I checked my emails and noted that we were able to speak to security through the intercom. They checked the system and my number plate, confirmed there was a match and scrubbed off the £120 charge. That was good service.
