“When I arrived the number plate recognition didn’t work and I had to call assistance at the barrier. It took several minutes for assistance to respond. As I didn’t have a valid ticket, when I arrived back from my trip, I had to go through the assistance call button again at the barrier. It was answered almost straight away this time and after providing my registration was able to leave. It causes a bit of a stressful start to my holiday and it’s doubtful I will use the long stay parking again.”

It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. This doesn't happen often but when it does, I understand the frustration that it causes.

“This is an excellent service. You drive up, leave your car, answer a few onscreen questions, get a printed sticker for your key and told where to drop it. You're given a receipt. On arrival just scan the receipt, get your key and go to the bay printed on your key ticket. There are plenty staff to help as well.”

If you have overstayed the time on your booking you will be subject to pay the non pre booked rate upon exiting the car park for your overstay.

“Great value for money. A wee bit far out but the directions and sign posts to the lot were excellent! Buses to and from the terminal were quick and roomy. Both drivers were friendly and went above and beyond.”
“We had a completely hassle free time at Plane Parking. We followed directions, got ticket from machine, parked, got bus to airport. After holiday got bus to where my car was parked, drove car to exit, inserted ticket and drove home. Easy! Would recommend!”

If it was heavy rain then getting to one of the two bus stops in car park may leave you wet. Maybe an extra two stops would help.”

Compounded further when the plane was delayed by 27 hours and an additional charge was applied.
Whilst I can claim the additional charges back from the airline, I’d have expected a reciprocal agreement to be in place between yourselves and major airlines to account for such exceptional circumstances and not further burden customers.”
“Good online booking. Decent parking although a bit crowded this time. The pavement on the walkway to the airport is rough and destroys wheels. The parking spaces could be a bit wider.”
