“Lovely product, but slightly worried by the cold freezer packs. They seem to be full of some kind of gel? What is it?”

“This is the second time I’ve ordered with Pipers farm. First time one of the items had hole in it so had to be binned. Customer service was good, apologised and refunded me for the item within a few days. Second box again damaged item which leaked all over the box making the box and other items wet. I emailed with pictures the same day as delivery and 4 days later still no reply. Pipers have now contacted me and arranged a refund of the damaged item.”

“Really hard to give a proper star rating. Fillet steak is excellent, however the most recent batch of short ribs was awful. The ribs were all bone and fat with very minimal amounts of meat. So disappointing.”

“They always send out short orders twice they have done it to me now the last time I ordered a spatchcocks chicken paid £12 and got half of the chicken so now I’m done with pipers farm”

“Delivery was poor. Delivered to totally wrong address on two occasions. It was left to the honesty of the occupier at the incorrect address on both occasions.(on one occasion, to personally deliver). No response from either DPD or Pipers Farm on being advised of failure.”

Hi Sheila, I am so sorry to hear that delivery was made incorrectly one two occasions but I am grateful that you have brought this to my attention. May I ask, do you have the DPD app which allows you to upload an image of your property and also to add the what 3 words location so that DPD drivers can pinpoint exactly were you would like parcels to be delivered. “I have used PF many times over the years. This year disappointed in the ham I bought with the top skin and fat tied on but separated from the meat itself - i don't know why this should be. It led to the joint being a bit of a mess and dry due to it coming off. The rest of the order was good but the ham not so”

“The goose we paid for was meant to be 5.3-5.8kg. It was 4.7kg. The stress of not knowing if it would arrive at all was uncomfortable but we understand that the Post Office strike hit DPD and also when some can't afford to eat then we should check our privilege. Once here everything was sensationally tasty as always.”

“Had a two bone rib of beef but unusually this was tough this time. Cooked it as medium rare and seared meat at high temperature for 20 minutes and then turned down heat to 160 degrees C, but meat went dry quickly and was slightly tough. Shame!”

“I thought it would come in a presentation box. Instead the cheeses were rolling around in a small box. Not even festive tissue paper to make it look more attractive. This was a present for my dad so I'm now going to have to buy things to make it more like a gift.”
