The Cumberland sausages are great. It was expensive for 1 slice of gammon. The rib joint was very fatty..and not worth £17...sorry.

Friend pleased with hamper .The ordering not ideal .2 cheeses not available but not easy to order alternative as told right at the end of the process .Disappointed that wooden boxed that made hamper special had run out .Site implied postage free above certain order then rather terse answer from customer service when queried .I typed a message but recipient did not receive it so initially didn’t know who had sent it .So good local products but systems not as good as could be .

As we work with artisan producers, sometimes items do go out of stock but we always mark them as out of stock on our website immediately and I am sorry that you were not aware the of the two cheese being unavailable until right at the end of the ordering process. Postage is £3.95 when orders are over £75 and £5.95 if the order is below £75. I am afraid that we do not offer free delivery and we are working hard to find a sustainable alternative to the wooden crate for our hampers, but the wooden hamper will not be returning - I am sorry. I am terribly sorry, but we did not receive your message on your online order to be able to include this with your gift, you can always call us after the order has been placed and we can add messages, make amendments or make additions yo orders for you. Please remember that we are always here to assist you in any way possible. If you ever need assistance or have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. I ordered as a gift delivery was good and delivered when said. Not sure about the contents as it’s a gift. The box it came in was completely broken it had a tear all down the side so I couldn’t use it to give the gifts in. I had to go a get a basket instead.

First time I've bought from you and cooked the belly pork yesterday. I was very disappointed with it, it was very tough, even after three hours on low heat, I just hope the rest of the orrder will be better ?

Ordered two of the same item, first time I've ordered from Pipers Farm. Received a phone call on the scheduled day of delivery to say the items were not ready and would be delivered the next day, not a problem but I needed them the following day so it was agreed they would be sent without cool packaging to arrive by 12pm. I then received one of the two items on the scheduled delivery day, but the next day nothing had arrived by 12pm. I called to be told the final item was actually scheduled to be delivered the day after, however unfortunately I needed to use it before it was due to arrive. Not sure what went wrong with the rescheduled delivery, an unfortunate error somewhere, but the missing item was cancelled and refunded immediately. The meat that was received was great quality however!

Really didn't like the chicken burgers. They were too dense and not much flavour overall. The wings were delicious once marinaded.

The original order arrived with a 24 hr expiry date. However, They have fully refunded me now several weeks after the order arrived. I therefore can happily say that any issues are dealt with for customer satisfaction. I will place more orders as a result

The quality of their meats is very good, but they need to change their delivery company and actually get things to people on time and when agreed upon. They very much need to rethink how they triple pack everything in soft plastics. Finally, it is unnecessary to have photos of cute baby animals on their website.

Excellent meat but let down by delivery by dpd. In spite of specifying a safe and enclosed place next to my front door, the instructions are never followed. Why dpd think that taking a photo of the delivery deposited outside a CLOSED front door constitutes proof of safe delivery, I do not know. In the past I have had over £100 worth of Christmas meat left in full view outside my front door. My most recent delivery was also left in the same place. No matter how good the quality of the produce, the delivery is all part of the package. Until Piper’s Farm can sort out the people they contract to do those deliveries I will shop in person at my local farm shops whenever possible.

I'm afraid that this leg of lamb did not come up to your usual standard. For once I didn't slow cook it, and although it was pink, it was pretty tough and not particularly tasty. Rather sad for an Easter feast with family.

Really sorry but bit disappointed I’m afraid. Was so looking forward to my meat hamper ..Pork chops all fat no meat, which I would normally not mind as love pork fat, but they were rindless so no crackling. Ordered a loaf of bread but that had been previously frozen as could see from the little white grains. Positive note.. lovely sausages and no artificial ingredients or fillers, hence my order as so hard to find quality meat with no awful preservatives and harmful sulphites. Unfortunately won’t be ordering again just for sausages though.

I’ve always been very pleased with my purchases from Pipers Farm but I recently bought some steak & Stilton pies and was disappointed. They were dry, I thought they were going to have gravy inside but it seems not !!

I have been buying from pipers farm for many years. The quality of the meat is excellent,pork chops ,goose ,steaks ,turkey,lamb etc all mouthwatering delicious. Service excellent.

Bought beef bourguignon ready meal, steak & stilton and venison pies. My husband and I were fairly unimpressed with our steak pies that had quite a bit of potato in them. Our guests said the venison pies were lovely but they could have just been being polite. The beef bourguignon was absolutely delicious but at £15 for a very small two serving portion (would really have only feed one hungry man) we’re unlikely to purchase again.

Really like the meat ordered from Pipers Farm, However the pork belly came boned ... whihc resulted in far less meat than expected to go around the dinner table I ordred 1kg worth

The bones are good for making broth/stock but bacon was like chewing rubber and having lovely cuts of meat frozen just doesn’t work. If delivered fresh would use again but otherwise would only use for stock bones in future sadly.
