“Excellent quality and taste! I started to buy from Pipers in an effort to support small farmers in the wake of the government’s inheritance tax raid. What I received was very high quality meat, a more healthy diet, and the satisfaction of supporting not only small farmers but also the animals who sacrifice so much to feed us. I am so happy I found Pipers. Grass fed organic beef raised on grass fields in the sunshine will always get my vote!”

As we like to do our very best to not only minimise additives in our food, we also do our very best to avoid food waste. Freezing is natures best way of preserving food. For centuries food was stored with either salt or ice, holding in all of the key nutrients and never wasting a thing. We blast freeze our meat at the perfect moment which means that we are locking in a whole heap of vitamins, minerals and nutrients and ensures that your food is delivered to you at the optimum moment, so it tastes its very best. “Meat tried so far has been excellent. Only complaint would be each item is double wrapped in plastic...the actual piece of meat/poultry or fish and then an outer bag with description etc. This type of plastic is not recyclable in all areas and why is it necessary to use an outer bag?”

“Without a word of exaggeration, all the meat, fish, cheeses, preserves etc; etc; are a complete triumph. It is rare we source any of the above from elsewhere now simply because the produce from Pipers Farm (and those who share the same ethos) is unbeatable.”

“Great quality meat. Ordered a steak box and most steaks came bigger than expected. The ribeye especially was amazing. Best black pudding known to man - highly recommend that.”

“Their meat is good quality but I am unhappy with the way I was treated. I had ordered items which were not included in the package I received and I had not been notified in advance about this or advised that they were missing on receipt of the order. Yet my payment had not been reduced at that stage. I had to email the company before receiving a refund. They said they would have refunded me eventually. I still think this is a poor way to treat a customer.”
