The food is top notch and can’t fault anything but the cooking instructions are another matter. No instructions are included on the packaging of any of the food, instead (and I only found this after searching for a long while!) you are redirected back to website where you have to search for the correct product page and then the cooking times are stated on the page. While a cumbersome process I could forgive it if the cooking instructions were clear. For example no idea if the temperature states is for a fan or conventional ovens and they don’t include instructions for weight. So for example I recently bought a 1.5kg stuffed Turkey breast but they sell two sizes and the cooking instructions don’t tell you which size it’s talking about. Please please just include cooking instructions on the product, especially for large cuts of meat. It would make it so much easier.

The turkey/brie pie was delicious. However, the beef stock bones this time were disappointing. Usually, you send good-sized bones with plenty of marrow, but this time the bones were chopped into very small-sized chunks and there was an incredible amount of beef fat generated - over 1 litre from 5kg of bones! I did save some for beef dripping but a lot went to waste, unfortunately.

Fantastic meat and excellent service. Given a 4 as I hate the plastic in arrives in and some packed in 4's so unable (frozen) to separate into 2's. As we are a couple don't want to eat 4 at the same time. Also preferred it when you mostly sold meat as it seems more commercial and large now than it did previously.

Great efficient informative eco-friendly delivery....however bone broth had begun to melt/ crystallise upon receipt. Additionally, the potted crab had to be consumed within two days... arrived 5/11 consume by 7/11. I feel this should have been identified before my purchase.

Have had sharing steaks before and have been very pleased. However, we had them for a special occasion and were somewhat disappointed. They were cut differently which made one difficult to cut. We followed the instructions for cooking but they were rare rather than medium.

Good quality food and delivered with plenty of protection, wool now being used to protect plants from frost, so good to have something we can reuse and not have to throw away

Mince beef is the best around, good price and nice taste. Was disappointed by burgers bought a while back, broke up on defrost and had to use as mince

Good quality meat but the company seems to be over stretching itself now by selling a lot more products that can be bought more cheaply elsewhere or directly from the producers. The delivery is not always the best as the boxes have been thrown over my gate and even left outside the gate by the road. Also, it would be good to be reminded of vouchers points that can be used. I keep coming back though.

I loved everything about the products, the packaging and quick delivery. I would have scored a five if I’d received a reply from my email, as I didn’t receive One of my items, which I have paid for and still not heard anything? Toni annette-Norman

The food we ordered arrived on the day and time promised and was very well packed. We have not yet sampled the food so cannot comment on the taste but it looks very good.

Its great to have sustainably farmed and quality food delivered straight to my door. I am conscious of the environmental impact of transporting the food across the country and it is quite expensive as its grass fed. However I understand the company are determined to reduce their carbon footprint.

Hi, I can’t give it a 5/5 due to you using DPD. They keep leaving my box outside my front door. They don’t knock or ring the door bell, they tend to just leave it there. However, that being said overall quality of meat & service from pipers is great.

The meat/poultry is delicious However the courier DPD are not reliable, i received delivery refund after the parcel lay for 3 hours elsewhere in my building because the courier was too lazy to look for my flat. The meat/poultry was starting to soften by the time we discovered it. With meat and poultry a reliable courier is essential.

The foodstuffs arrived promptly by courier as designated, on time and well packaged. Not yet cooked any meat yet but it looks good, portions on the generous side of weights advertised. I would hope to see some comparative measure of emissions from a serious organic meat company such as the one provided bySL Bridle in her ‘Food and Climate Change’ book- eg gCO2 e per day, inclusive of food production packaging and transport. If they are already available apologies I missed them but definitely not on my invoice.
