“We have been buying meat from Pipers Farm for many years now. We tried the loin of mutton for the first time this weekend and were blown away with the taste and tenderness. We cannot fault Edenmoor for their commitment to the way animals are raised and the land is nurtured and this is evident in the quality of the meat. We eat very little meat but these values are essential in choosing the meat we buy.Would whole heartedly recommend.”

“Oxtail? - more like a calf's tail. Very small, meat sparse. See photo attached - THREE pieces of the oxtail with a normal fork. First time purchasing from this store; will not be returning, sadly.”

We would like to clarify that our oxtail is sold by weight, as clearly stated on our website, rather than by the number or size of pieces. Because we work with whole animals, the size and shape of each cut can naturally vary, and this can sometimes result in smaller or differently proportioned pieces. At Edenmoor, we take pride in using as much of the animal as possible. This means our products are not standardised into uniform portions, but instead reflect a more traditional and sustainable approach to butchery. While this may differ from expectations, it ensures minimal waste and respects the integrity of the animal. “I placed an order for pork pies and chicken pies and what really grabbed my attention was the chicken curry, so that went into my order. When my order arrived it was incomplete, chicken curry was missing. Not happy with the after sales service either, they did refund my money, but I would have preferred a complete order. Won't be ordering again!”

“I ordered a pork loin with crackling for Xmas dinner. After defrosting in the fridge quite a large part of the fat was a different colour/texture to the rest. After cooking it remained soft and was a disappointment actually. I did everything I would normally do in previous years but it did not seem to be up to normal standard. The meat tasted very good but part of the joy of roast pork is the crackling.”

“I was disappointed that most of my box of meat products were thawed or semi thawed out on arrival prior to Christmas I immediately reported to customer services and was told that all products would be fine to refreeze I sent a complaint but no response I had to cook the thawed steaks etc and go and buy more to freeze Because of this experience I would not order from Pipers again”

“I buy most of my meat from Pipers Farm (Edenmoor) and have done for a few years now. It is important to me to know that the animals are treated kindly by farmers who care about their animals and the environment. Also important is the high quality meat. All the foregoing is what Pipers is all about. The meat arrives frozen and nicely packaged in compostable packaging. Another plus. Great service too.”

“I believe we have a misunderstanding in that you do not seem to appreciae that I live in California(?). That apart the boxes you delivered for me were well received and enhanced the Christmas celebrations of a cherished family. Thank you. They are sill debating which item in their boxes became their favourite and we are in March! Should I ever be able to join them for a Christms or similar celebration it is mos likelythat I will look to you to send a soecial box.”

“I got an Email they'd like me to write a review as a valued customer. Well, I'm no longer a customer, and definitely not a valued one, otherwise, they wouldn't have ignored my Emails. Some of the meat is great, some isn't. With their standards of customer service and the fact that the quality of their product in thebpast couple of orders has been disappointing, I'm giving them two stars, while on the lookout for a different place to buy meat from.”

“Having used Pipers Farm a number of times, I have noticed that since it has been taken over and run by Edenmoor, the quality of meat and their very poor customer service has declined to such an extent that I have now switched supplier and would not recommend them”

“Superb quality of meat delivered to the door. The taste always surpasses any supermarket meat and gives confidence even to fussy eaters that its been reared carefully and doesn't have anything nasty in it. The customer service is excellent and the regular offers are worth having. This review is based on many years of being a customer - that's how consistent our experience has been.”
