“My resent delivery. Was frozen solid through , I order in bulk and brake the meat down into portions on arrival and freeze, product arrived frozen ( not chilled to the point of starting to freeze but frozen hard through , making it impossible to portion down unless I defrost and re-freeze ,dangerous practise ), Ok maybe due to chill packs some of the smaller cuts might start to freeze slightly but whole large cuts frozen solid ? , is the policy is to freeze before delivery , if so it should be clearly stated giving the customer the choice of purchasing the product or not!. Now on to the products , Double sirloin steak , a premium product with a premium price , so why sell the very end cut of thin end , it has a layer of inedible membrane right through the middle , there are other uses this end can be used for without profit loss, marbling which was expected was not in evidence , You sell the impression as a supplier of excellent quality cuts !. Two portion size duck breast , yes maybe as a starter but as a main no ! . Pork chops , again the poor end of the cut , irregular sizing with the skin removed . Pork belly , I understand why you remove the rib cage ( spare ribs ) , why not give the customer a choice ?. I have not experienced the rest of the delivery however , disappointment of the butchering of cuts and portion size is the first impression after delivery unwrap , I have used other suppliers searching for the best supplier for placing an order , price is a second to quality. My expectations Ethically reared , quality of meat and cut , correct specification and ageing. for flavour and tenderness , portioned to allow sear without compromising choice of preference , chilled well down yes but not to the point the customer can’t process to their needs.”

“Pipers are quite simply amazing! I made an error with my delivery address and they went to every length possible to make sure I still received my order. Even called to check after delivery to make sure everything was ok. Then with the product, the packaging is eco friendly all recyclable and some lambs wool in the packaging that is great for my compost. My first order was mostly things for my dogs and they absolutely love their new food, it is supreme quality and I have two very happy dogs! All in all I would thoroughly recommend this company and I shall be making many more orders from them myself.”

“The Piper Philosophy  “Our mission is to produce delicious food” - Every one new to Pipers remarks on how tasty it is. “In harmony with nature” - We evolved in natural surroundings, not in factories, as did our food sources. “Best quality products” - These can be achieved only by organic, bio-dynamic, chemical free/ growth hormone free farming. I hope this is the case. “Sustainably”. Assume in a farming context, this refers to maintaining the integrity of the soil and the land over time. In the globalist lexicon it is about population reduction, so perhaps the word is best avoided. How about “for future generations.” Packaging: Sheep’s wool has many uses and is said to be compostable. The jury is out on health effects of plastic food wrapping More information from Pipers would be appreciated. “Best possible experience from farm to dinner plate” Why risk the quality of the food by poor delivery service? It would seem every DPD driver so far either does not understand instructions or chooses to ignore them. All deliveries are deposited on the front doorstep, even in warm sunshine. Neighbours cannot accept frozen foods as it is not their responsibility to store them appropriately. DPD preaching Net Zero nonsense is insulting and is at odds with Pipers philosophy. Why pay for delivery if the customer is advised to collect goods by car or balance two heavy boxes on a bicycle?? Should mothers leave the kids at home while they do this or should the elderly put the heavy boxes on their head while they cycle home through the traffic? Ridiculous.”

“I’ve been ordering meat boxes from Pipers Farm for a long time, but my latest experience (Order No. PFS440953) has completely put me off ever buying from them again. My delivery was due yesterday with DPD, but when I checked the tracking link, I saw it had been delivered to the wrong house. Hours later I managed to track it down, only to find that the person at that address had passed it on to someone else, and eventually the box was brought back to me late in the evening. By then, despite being unopened, all of the meat was completely defrosted. The next day I called Pipers Farm to explain and request a refund, but was told that wasn’t possible because I had “received my box in the end.” To make matters worse, the staff member even suggested that I simply refreeze the meat — advice that anyone dealing with food should know is unsafe and irresponsible. This was a large order I had planned to freeze and use over time, and now it’s unusable. Regardless of whether DPD was at fault, Pipers Farm chose the courier and should stand behind their products and their customers. Instead, they refused to take responsibility and offered dangerously bad food safety advice. I can no longer recommend Pipers Farm to anyone. Poor service, no accountability, and a shocking disregard for customer safety.”

Whenever I've forgotten to order something, I can phone and add an extra couple of things a few days before delivery is due. They offer a far greater variety of offal and cheaper cuts than any local butchers to us, and it's convenient to fill the freezer every few months. Their sausages are the best you'll ever taste!”

“Hi, recently I got my order on Tuesday after ordering on thursday 24.07, everything was great however the 2x sourdoughs were disappointing as they were so hard and dry. I was expecting to taste the best sourdough of my life but they just didn't seem fresh maybe due to the fact we ordered on a thursday and didn't receive until Tuesday.
