I got home to find no tree rang the freight office it was closed. Rang pines and they were lovely rang me back and said they'd been told deliveries were still happening. In fact they had ignore the printed instructions to leave tree in garage or go to number 26. At 8pm a person in the road had to carry my tree round to my house. They'd left it with a totally different neighbour and left no message. Very disappointed with the courier but full marks to staff at pines who were so polite and so helpful.\nVal

The driver turned up almost 2 hours later than my scheduled slot. I had to call the office a few times to try and get an update of when the tree would be delivered and was told it would be 30 minutes, then another 30 minutes etc. When they eventually turned up, the guys put the tree up albeit it was crooked (they did recognise this but said there was nothing they could do) and they give me the wrong lights (I order 120 but they only had 200) which would not work as there was no plug attached. Although the drivers were friendly and apologetic I don't feel that I received a premium service and would not be keen on using the service again.\n\nHowever I would like to add that I did speak to the office about this on Thursday evening and the service I did receive was professional and very competent. I did receive a refund, however I would have preferred if the delivery and service was right.

A little disappointed. although the tree is a nice shape it have a large patch of dried/dead pine sthat are brown. Also the tree smells as if its been in a musty dusty warehouse for a while.

The fist tree arrived half dead, the guy who dropped it off literally threw at our door and was annoyed that i asked him to move to a more appropriate place, I then asked for his help to put it into the stand which he said he didn't have time and left. It wasn't until I cut away the rope i discovered it was half dead.\n\nWe then asked for a replacement tree, the tree arrive which we were told that we had to pay extra for, I was not happy about this at all as we asked for a replacement not a different tree, that is quite appalling of your company to do that! The gentlemen who brought the tree were very helpful and wiped the extra charge, also put up the tree which was great, the service from them was fantastic and we were very happy with the tree, the only thing I was very disappointed in was when I left the office for the day the half dead tree was literally dumped in the street, on the road just up from our office!

Unfortunately this is my first and my last time I use this company! First of all the delivery was supposed to arrive between 8am and 1pm, but it arrived just before 5pm, so very late!!! Not only that, but the trees (As I ordered 2) were extremely bad quality with a lot of dried branches or some missing on one side. And just to make the matters worse, both trees were supposed to be 7ft tall, however one of them was under 6ft. I am very unhappy with the service and will not use Pines and Needles ever again. I am sorry, but I will also tell all my colleagues about my bad experience!

I was disappointed with the tree. It's tall enough but is not very bushy although you can't see this until you unwrap it. We'll keep it but I wouldn't have picked it myself. In future we'll go and buy our own tree.

Tree is not the correct variety. It's 2 foot taller than the tree requested and a large part of the tree is already dead.

The tree was bought into the house still in the mesh covering. I asked to look at the tree so the driver took it back outside to take the covering off. He was clearly in a rush and had expected to just leave the tree without me checking it. Feeling rushed I accepted the tree which soon after he left I realised had two big bare patches along the main trunk. I used the service last year and must have been lucky with the tree but this year I've ended up with a poor tree and I didn't feel able to ask to see others in the van. I wouldn't use the service again.

Grinch and Needles,\nThanks for ruining our Christmas!\n\nThe tree received was already dead, half of the branches were torn, the other half are brown close to the trunk. There is no Christmas tree smell we were promised, and the needles are falling off to a rate that we spend more time vacuum cleaning than trying to enjoy the holidays.\n\nWe only realised the dud on the 24th as we keep the tree hidden until Christmas Eve (although in a bucket of water and out of the elements' reach), so it was too late to change anything, but we can change where we'll buy our tree next year and we'll make sure we steer away from Grinch and Needles from now on.\n\nWe've taken a lot of pictures of the dead if you are interested.\n\nDr Silvia and Emil Cochino

Delivery guys were grumpy and complained continuously (well the older guy did). When they realised they had to do lights as well, he said 'Jesus Christ' in front of my 4 year old son, told me how many jobs he had to fit in that evening and what time he'd been getting home at night. Said he was totally overworked and you didn't pay them enough and they only made up their money with tips (which I wasn't about to give him). They tramped in with huge boots on cream carpet. \nPrevious years delivery guys have been great, these totally let the side down and I feel like a totally overpaid for the service. The lights don't look good at all and I ended up re-arranging them all myself as they did them in such a smash and grab hurry.

Wouldn't have taken the morning off if I had known the tree would just be left on doorstep. Have been up and in since 8. Door bell hasn't rung and no one knocked. Tree just left and only discovered when opened door to postman

My tree was delivered to my neighbour during the wrong slot, and they forgot the mini tree by a mistake which was very disappointing as I didn't know that it had been delivered to my neighbour and was waiting with my kids for delivery. Unfortunately my neighbour didn't come home until nearly 11pm. Having unwrapped the tree last night I am very very disappointed with the tree as the needles are dull and brittle, not green and glossy that one expects from a Nordman Fir the branches are drooping, I am sure the decorations will fall off before Christmas day, this tree has been cut a long time ago and there is no scent whatsoever. This morning the floor is covered with needles that have fallen off the tree. I do wonder whether I received someone elses order as this is not a nordman fir and it came on the wrong delivery slot without the mini tree. Such a disappointment as last year the tree was lovely quality and lasted the whole season.\n

I ordered a tree from your company on the 20th November as I thought having it delivered would relieve the hassle of trying to collect it. It was supposed to arrive today and I received an email yesterday stating that as we had a "budget" delivery that you could not give me a precise time (even though in my confirmation email you stated that I will be given an allocated time slot)! £20 in my opinion is not a budget delivery especially with an expensive tree and the time off work- and still no tree. It is now 2150hrs and still no news from the driver, I have attempted to call him but it goes directly to his voicemail. I have been in all day and took time off work especially for this. I have tried calling your office but off course you are closed! I will never use your services again and will be sure to make sure none of our friends, family or neighbours do either. Having your christmas tree is supposed to be a special part of Christmas, but you have ruined it. Very expensive for an awful service!

the tree is really not the same standard as last year, ery dry on delivery and with many dead/dry branches. \nLight installation is not good (there is missing items in the order)...this is the first time in many years that i am so disappointed. And when I called to explain the missing items, and my unhappiness, the only gesture was the refund me what was not delivered, which I guess I have to be very thankful for ???

One of the trees delivered was in a very sorry state, we had to cut the bottom 2 ft off to get rid of the dried out branches.

The package arrived with a dent in the box and the bulb broken. Pines and needles replace them, I am very impressed by the service of customer services, many thanks
