I had 2 orders over Christmas the first was fine - the second was 2 trees, one of which was terrible (uneven bad shape) and had to be returned. This was not handled well with the replacement tree being delivered by people who did not seem to understand about the replacement and were not happy about having to take the first tree back. Both tree holders (the first had been used and the second was missing one of its screw in bits) were not good.

You must have spoiled us last year with a beautiful tree as this year's is a huge disappointment. We have in fact had to go out today and buy another tree as the one you delivered would not hold half of the number of ornaments we had on the same height tree last year. What a shame - I don't think that we will buy from you again.

One tree was not the size we ordered, the other was covered in mud, Martin was extremely basic in his approach to customer service.

Bit disappointed. Wreath was very tired, black holly leaves which fell off as it was taken out of the box and rest of greenery very dull and tired looking.\n\nTree great size but there was a branch that grew from almost the bottom of the tree which meant that the tree wouldn't go into our stand which can accommodate an 8ft tree. This meant that after lots of tussling we had to saw off the branch to get it into the stand. Therefore we missed out on the advantage of the fact that you'd supposedly sawn off a couple of inches the night before. It was extremely hard work and not at all what we wanted to have to do. Consequently the tree has a strange gap so that we had to turn it round to back but it could still be seen. This was the most we'd paid for our wreath and tree and the most work we had to do. Annoying. We just didn't have time in our schedule to contact you to ask for another. On a positive note your driver was great and the tree smells nice. The branch that we had to saw off was big enough for us to put into another stand and we decorated it! Don't think I'll be ordering again next year..... We had to do it this year as I've just recently been diagnosed with a hernia and my partner has just come out of hospital! Merry Christmas!

On the previous 2 occasions that I have purchased a 6' tree, I was overjoyed with the size of it. I believe the size has previously been stated to be between 6' and 7'. Unfortunately, I took the option of ordering exactly the same this year as my previous 2 purchases, but I am very, very disappointed with the size this time. It literally is barely 6'. Next year I shall buy locally, when I can be sure of what I am getting size wise.

Christmas tree very disappointing. Very straggly with ends of branches cut off and top of tree far too long and with Brocken branches. Worst Christmas tree I have had for Xmas. Won't be using your services again. I expect quality not substandard. \n\n

The courier arrived at 5.20pm after I called asking for our delivery. Improvement from last year when we received a broken tree at 6.20pm. \n\nThe tree this year is very poor, very uneven and trunk extremely thin. Poor all over and we have decided we won't be using this service again next year after giving you a second chance after the fiasco last year. \n\n

Really disappointed, waited in on Saturday until 1pm and the tree wasn't delivered. Paid 20 pounds for that. My delivery charge should be refunded, I'm sure you'll agree. Got the tree now and it's a good one, but Saturday disrupted by a poor experience.

Hello \nI have been unable to contact you before due to personal reasons. I am however extrememly disappointed in my tree. It looks nothing like the pictures, and in fact looks almost fake due to it being so bare. I can send pictures to show how it has failed to meet expectations. Having used your services before this comes as an unexpected disappointment and i cannot say that i will recommend you. For the money I paid I was hoping and expecting a much higher grade of tree.

Not happy with my tree at all. It has a double trunk and doesn't fit holder as it is too wide. It is impossible to get it straight. Can I exchange it for another one? I am really disappointed.

Awful awful awful. No elfs for my three children who waited anxiously and excited for weeks. I paid a premium for a non drop tree and there are needles everywhere. I payed for decorations and lights for the tree, non of which arrived. The two men dumped the tree and left. So dissapointed as we had family arrive today to stay with us and we wanted to have the house fully decorate. I would like a full refund for such poor quality.

My tree was booked for delivery on Thursday 5 December. The tree actually arrived on Friday 6 December which meant I had to stay in for 2 days to receive it. This would not have been so much of an issue if the tree had been useable. The tree did not have a trunk as I would expect, but instead had a huge knot/mass of wood at the base that measured about 20cms in diameter. It was impossible to get any stand to fit it, and initially we tried sawing down the sides of the mass of wood to narrow it, but as there was only about 10cm between the bottom of the wood and the first branches, there was not really much room to do anything. I contacted you and your customer service was excellent and immediately offered another tree, but unfortunately I was not prepared to spend another 2 day at home waiting for whenever NightFreight decided to show up. For this reason I took a refund for the tree, and sadly after 7 years I will not be using you again as although I cannot fault you as a company, the delivery company you use let you down. We had an issue a few years ago with the delivery of our tree from you, using NightFreight, where by when they arrived at our house and saw our electronic gates, rather than call the house and have me open the gates, they simply hoisted the tree over the 8 foot high gates and left it there. You can clearly see there are no houses in sight of the gates - in fact the house is 300m away from the gates down a drive. I was 8 months pregnant at the time and so was unable to do anything to get the tree to the house - it had to stay there for several days until my husband returned from working away. Obviously I decided to give NightFreight another chance, but this year they have failed to meet my expectations, i.e. deliver on the day booked and so I will not use them again. I was always happy to use you because I knew if there was a problem with the tree you would replace it without quibble. However, I could not take advantage of this offer this year based on NightFreight performance.

Very disappointed by how late the service has been. Paid for delivery between 1300-1800hrs. It is now almost 2000hrs and no tree. We have had to cancel evening plans. Have had to call the driver myself to get an update.
