I wanted to surprise my wife with a wedding album that would capture the magic of our day, so after a lot of research, I decided to go with PikPerfect and I’m so glad I did. From the very beginning, they were amazing to work with. Every question I had was answered quickly, every edit handled with care, and they truly listened to what I wanted. When the album arrived, it was absolutely beautiful — better than I ever imagined. Seeing my wife’s face light up when she opened it was priceless. She was over the moon, and I couldn’t be happier.

Pikperfect – Wenn die Erinnerung verschwommen ist, aber das Ergebnis gestochen scharf Anlass: Ein runder Geburtstag und der Versuch, Ordnung ins Leben zu bringen Zu einem runden Geburtstag – sagen wir: irgendwann zwischen Lockdown und Lebensbilanz – wollte ich mir etwas gönnen, das nicht altert: ein Fotoalbum. Der ursprünglich geplante Festakt fiel pandemiebedingt ins Wasser, also sollte wenigstens die Rückschau gelingen. Und wie das so ist, wenn man noch aus dem analogen Zeitalter stammt: Man beginnt mit Kartons voller Fotos, die nach Essig riechen, und endet in einem digitalen Dschungel aus JPEGs, TIFFs und der Erkenntnis, dass die ersten Digitalfotos aus den 1990ern eine Auflösung hatten, die heute selbst Spielzeugkameras peinlich wäre. Die Reise durch die Bildgeschichte Ich sortierte wochenlang. Alte Negative fehlten, manche Bilder waren doppelt, andere dreifach – und einige so unscharf, dass man sich fragt, ob die Kamera damals schon melancholisch war. Nach vier Wochen hatte ich zwar eine chronologische Ordnung, aber keine Idee für die Gestaltung. Und so kam der Moment, in dem man sich eingesteht: Vielleicht sollte das jemand übernehmen, der weiß, was er tut. Die Suche nach dem Anbieter – und der Frankenstein-Moment Der Markt ist voll von Versprechen: KI-basierte Layouts, automatische Designs, „intelligente Erinnerungsarchitektur“. Klingt gut, sieht oft aus wie Frankensteins Bastelstunde. Nichts passt, nichts fließt, alles wirkt wie ein Algorithmus mit Burnout. Also suchte ich weiter – und stieß auf Pikperfect.com, ein Schweizer Unternehmen mit Sitz in Uitikon bei Zürich, das sich auf maßgeschneiderte Fotobücher spezialisiert hat. Die Bewertungen klangen vielversprechend – und teuer. Aber da ich die Vorarbeit bereits geleistet hatte, war der Weg frei. Der Ablauf – professionell, schnell, menschlich Innerhalb kürzester Zeit bekam ich einen ersten Entwurf. Und der hatte es in sich: harmonisch, stilvoll, genau nach meinem Geschmack. Die Designer meldeten sich sogar wegen ein paar Bildern, deren Qualität eher an Nebel erinnerte – aber ich gab grünes Licht. Die Erinnerung ist schließlich nicht immer gestochen scharf, warum sollten es die Bilder sein? Ich teilte mit, dass es eilt – und Pikperfect lieferte. Das Album kam per UPS, perfekt verpackt, mit Buchschoner, hochwertigem Druck und einer Gestaltung, die zeigt: Hier arbeiten Menschen, nicht Maschinen. Fazit – Preis, Leistung, Zufriedenheit Ja, es kostet. Aber es lohnt sich. Wer ein Album möchte, das nicht nach Massenware aussieht, sondern nach Persönlichkeit, ist hier richtig. Ich kann mir nichts Besseres vorstellen – und das sage ich als jemand, der sich selbst durch Jahrzehnte Bildmaterial gewühlt hat. Empfehlung: Uneingeschränkt. Für alle, die ihre Erinnerungen nicht dem Zufall überlassen wollen – sondern einem Team, das Gestaltung wirklich versteht.

Would definitely recommend PikPerfect and the team for your special albums. We used them for our wedding album and gave them all our photos (700+), they narrowed down the best to tell our story while also allowing us to make decisions on what to swap in/out. We loved the design of the pages, we went through a few versions where we wanted to swap photos, tweak designs or placements. The team were really quick to respond and gave us some great advice along the way on our asks about the impact on the album. We were even able to get our wedding design on to the front cover. For the service and quality these guys are great value for money.

Très grande qualité, le paroxisme du luxe pour un album photo que vous voulez faire durer. Les finitions sont excellentes. Nous avons choisi une couverture en velours et des pages qualité FujiArt Velvet. Vu le prix, nous nous attendions à quelque chose de très soigné, mais pas à ce point-là. Le rendu a quelque chose de "spécial". Il a un rendu unique. Vous avez l'impression d'avoir une mini galerie d'art entre vos mains. Pour que vous vous rendiez bien compte de l'épaisseur des pages en FujiArt, notre livre en 42x30 cm de 56 pages "seulement" fait 4,350 kilos! Un axe d'amélioration pour le site tout de même : le logiciel de conception d'album. Les possibilités sont un peu limitées, les manipulations de photos ne sont pas très fluides et le système n'est pas assez "intelligent" pour détecter certaines erreurs très difficiles à voir à l'oeil (nous avons par exemple mal aligné 3 photos, à 1mm près, et le système ne vous protège pas de ça ni quand vous placez les photos, ni quand vous validez le projet). Toutefois la personnalisation par l'équipe du site est gratuite, je suppose donc que vous pouvez leur demander de vérifier ce genre de choses.
