“Difficult to review the product yet. Put down 2 coats on a concrete floor which is prone to damp. Went down easily enough, but will have to see how it performs through the coming winter.”

“Have used microshield ultra on many occasions in the past 9 years , always found it to be a fantastic product , I have tested it a few days after application & the brickwork was totally waterproof , would recommend this product all day long ….!!”

“Haven't used your product yet still knocking off many meters of plaster, but I'm sure it will work well. My only issue is that half the order arrived on Saturday with me thinking something went wrong with the order and the rest on Sunday which wasn't ideal”

“Just put on gable wall,went on well with brush coverage pretty good per litre made sure put plenty on . Rain not beading yet but says on tin could take a couple of weeks will keep checking hopefully will do the trick alot cheeper than other brands so fingers crossed 🤞.”

“I purchased a tub of PermaSEAL PRO MP 2C - Multi Purpose Waterproofing a while ago. I was awaiting a new roof on my workshop to be installed. Each time i went to treat the foundations it rained, and as the clueless builder who built the workshop had used pourous blocks in the foundation they became saurated. Then we had the summer, foundations dried out, i managed to dig out and treat the foundations. And now finally it rained, what can i say, no rising water, wall is dry. Workshop floor is dry....overall in very happy with this product”

“We applied these products expecting that it would clear the salts from the retaining garden brick wall. The salt became more visible after that. We have now painted the wall with Sandtex masonary paint. We will wait to see if this will solve it. See photos. The one star is because we expected the products would get rid of the salts. Regards Parin Shah”

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to leave your review and for including the photographs. We’re sorry the result wasn’t what you expected. With a retaining garden wall, the main issue is often ongoing moisture moving through the masonry. If moisture is still moving through the wall, it can continue to bring salts to the surface, which may explain why they became more noticeable after treatment. Any loose salt deposits should be brushed away before treatment. In most cases, one application is sufficient, although further applications can be made where salting is more persistent. The important point is that treating the visible salts may not stop them returning if the source of moisture affecting the wall is still present. For a longer-term solution, the priority is to identify and address the source of moisture affecting the wall wherever possible.
