“The plan was available on line quickly but I was expecting a hard copy and it was only after I had paid that I realised that I was not going to get one. The last time I order a map I got a hard copy and i feel for the price you are charging you should supply one or at least make it more open before payment that it is a online service only!”

Thanks for the response Susan. We only offer digital plans as only a tiny amount of people require it now and normally they have a printer. In terms of pricing, we are lower in price than the vast majority of other suppliers. Hope this helps.

“I got my plans ... the second time around. I don't think that it was overly clear to select my the plans with the red outline on. As a result i have had to purchase the documents twice so that is disappointing. I think making it really clearer (and if it was me that made the mistake which I assumed it was hence me buying twice) for customers selecting the right option would be good.”

Hello Carl, thanks for the feedback. The requirement to add a red line is clearly shown on step 2 when you order. However we do not make it mandatory as it is not needed by all customers. Hope this helps.

“EASY TO CHOOSE AND COLLECT, BUT ONE THING I WOULD LIKE TO ADD A COUPLE OF TIMES I HAVE BOUGHT THE SAME PLAN (SAME ADDRESS) A THIRD TIME IN ERROR MAYBE IT WOULD BE HELPFUL IF YOU HAD A POP UP MESSAGE TELLING YOU HOW MANY TIMES YOU HAVE CHOSEN THAT SAME ADDRESS, IT WOULD BE HELPFUL”

Thanks for the feedback. We do display a message that warns the user if exactly the same area is added multiple times to the basket so perhaps you missed it. Hope this helps.

“have used buyaplan for quiet a while and always found the system worked well but recently it seems it has problems payments taken and plans not received . Buyaplan is very difficult to contact to sort out problems”

Thanks for the feedback. This was due to a temporary issue with PayPal globally. We are hoping they resolve this shortly but I'm sure you can understand this is outside of our control.

“Well the answer to... 'Tell us how BuyAPlan made you happy' assumes everyone is happy! The plan scaled at 1:1250 is good, however, The scale of 1:500 maybe is ok for a normal house plot size, but definitely not ok for a larger plot size as it centres the plot for printing and not the section of plot required. In this regard it was a useless waste of money!”

“I didn't find the site particularly user friendly and received A4 copies of quite small scale maps. These seem to have been accepted with my planning application as I've received nothing to say they're not the correct thing. I don't feel very reassured and thought the service quite expensive and unclear.”

“The website seems easy to use, although every time you draw a plan it adds it to the basket and by not checking it properly I ended up paying for like 5 plans. When I asked for a refund you kept 30% as royalty.”

“I needed a plan, and you had it. However, I had to do extensive editing of the plan, which was not easy, as the boundaries on the plan you supplied were inadequate/incorrect for planning purposes. For this reason, I would not buy again.”

“I could not draw a fence line length accurately, as required by the local authority, and had to download a PDF copy to work on it on Photoshop, which reduced the final quality and took a lot of time”

Hello, thanks for the feedback. In terms of the redlining, it's up to you the customer to correctly outline the property. We provide the drawing tools to do so but we don't know the boundary of your property, only you do. Hope this helps.
