My recent purchase resulted in a second purchase as the plan included land that was not part of the application.

After Paying £30 for Location & Block Plans the local Council rejected the plans as there is a glitch on your software. I asked for Site boundaries in Red line and Property outline in Red But With both activated the print out had a black line where the Boundary & Property outlines are on Top of each other. This caused a delay in that our plans were not put through to planning committee on identified date causing delays to our Planning Permission

The pricing is good but it frustrates me that you dont do DWG files via this website. Conversely on Mapserve, you cant select a 1:1250 pdf of equivalent cost to those on Buy a Plan so I end up using both websites for maps for every project. Why dont you have DWG on Buy a Plan

Out of the three I tried this was the only one I could get the drawing function to work on. That said it’s extremely difficult on an iPad where you don’t have a mouse. In the end I resorted to good old Tippex and a pencil to get what I wanted. Very frustrating!

The plan I received was not accepted by the planning department and as it didn't show 2 roads. This was disappointing as I made it clear it was for a planning application.

Very expensive for what you get.

It’s all good except as you draw a boundary it would be good if this automatically pre-populated the different scale plans. So if you change your mind you don’t need to draw again. Also because ours was a tricky boundary line it would’ve been useful to draw it in large scale before then ordering it in a smaller scale.

Improve website by allowing save and edit. Thickness of red line should be adjustable.

Thanks for the feedback. We will look into this.

Sadly the plan provided incorrectly showed the red border, not around my boundary but, around my house and out-buildings. To get around this I had to scan your plan and, using a red pen, draw the red border correctly myself.

What is the prize? Pointless mentioning it and then not declaring what it is....that would be a better level of service and experience.

A good site for those who are familiar with plans and planning but for someone attempting to manoeuvre for the first time not so straight forward. Just short of a good rating

The plan meets all the requirements for a planning application and does show up to date detail. Not great print quality though and you will have to outline in red you own property.

I cannot fault the service, however I was I disappointed because I was expecting that it would be more realistic rather just a box drawing. if it was not to conform to the requirement, I would not buy it again

The website is easy to use however I had to use the freehand drawing tool which was not the best to use. In fact I had to purchase an additional plan because the council rejected my first one purely down to the challenges I had using the freehand tool.

I find it very hard to identify the property in question, to be able to outline it.

Used buy a plan for my extension application. the council rejected the plan at first as they didn't think there was a north arrow on the map but accepted it when I pointed out the very small one in the corner. Also I had to change the ratio from 1:500 to 1:1000 for it to be accepted

It was ok nut lacked certain features like a proper scale The red outline was either out of date or inaccurate

Great plans but you really should consider lowering the cost of the plans especially the larger plans as they are seriously expensive for what essential is a PDF, pic file. Many times I have gone to purchase a larger plan until the high price stops me from doing so.. you would actually make more revenue if prices were a lot lower as far more people would purchase I’m sure.

it was quick and simple to use but i thought rather expensive for a tiny, one off plan
