I bought two plans one was of wrong street and there was nobody I could call about the error. I emailed about this and was told I could only get a partial refund. I opted for the partial refund and then there was no more communication. Very poor customer service.

Sorry to hear that. The web site will only deliver the area that you would have previewed online prior to ordering. If a customer orders the wrong area, we're happy to give a refund however we do incur substantial costs in this case, hence our policy of a 70% refund. I hope this clarifies for you.

Impossible to get it accurate, maps not up-to date, when they make an error (Colors not as you put them) they blame you. Con artiste and £££ for 2 pathetic electronic pieces of rubbish - don't bother. And they are not sorry, just ignorant when you email them with the mistake.......

Sorry to hear your issue. As with all plans from the OS, they are never 100% up to date but for >99% of times they are. The web site will only send you the plan you ordered and any lines you added. You incorrectly added the lines and the site sent you what you ordered. We did offer the refund your mistaken order at the time however.

"Planning rejected it, no compass not clear enough. Red and blue line not clear, difficult to work with. Details of scale not clear, tinny don't." In response to you email:- ' You have not submitted a valid block plan;. Please provide a block plan to scale of not less than 1:500 with the site boundary outlined to match the location plan showing a north point. Please ensure that the position of the proposed works are clearly annotated on this plan.' I did submit you plan as a 'Block Plan' and the council did not accept it. To me they are saying they do not recognise the scale of the plan you supplied or the north point and the boundary was not clear which was difficult to use.

Sorry to hear that however all our plans display a North point top left and scale bottom left so I'm not clear why it was rejected for these reasons. Can you clarify to us please?

Absolute disgrace the amount it costs and as soon as you download the map is no longer available.. I could not get a preview to generate of one of my maps and when I paid it was the wrong area .. you can only get a 70% refund and I was asked for a number on the plane and there is none.. always the same great at taking your money and make it so tiresome to get it back its a joke. Getting 4 plans was hard work .. Im sure I was just unlucky

Thanks for the feedback. Our maps are available to download for up to 1 year after order. The plans can also be instantly downloaded after ordering so perhaps you did not wait to download them? Finally you just need to contact us as we can always forward them. In terms of the wrong area, you can preview your plan before ordering and the site will send exactly the same area you've previewed. However where customers order the wrong area we do refund 70% of the plans value to cover costs. I hope this clarifies for you.

I ordered 2 maps but what I got was different to what I ordered and did not match the preview. The scales were totally different to that ordered. The red outline added to the colour PDF was missing and there was a red outline that I didn't add to the black and white PNG file.

Thanks for the feedback. In terms of the wrong area, you can preview your plan before ordering and the site will send exactly the same area you've previewed. I hope this clarifies for you.

I was a first time user of the site & must admit not very familiar with terms such as PDF & Dwg. I bought a plan & found that my laptop, iPad & iPhone could not open it. Even the local council office were not able to open the plan attachment. It seems that I bought a plan that could only be open with CAD software. As my application for friend was urgent I had to get a plan from another source. I have been refused a refund because the organisation say that their terms & condition say I am not entitled. I am a pensioner & did ask for help by way of them sending me a plan I could open by email but it was not sent. No compassion terms & conditions over ride any sense of ethics & allowance for the less IT literate. I don't think I want to get any plan from them again.

Thanks for the feedback however the Buyaplan site does not sell DWG or CAD plans so I think you must be confusing us with another site.

I ordered and paid for 3 plans, all in A3 paper size. One has downloaded in A4 size and no matter how simply I explain the problem they seem incapable of understanding. They keep replying that I have ordered the wrong size and I can re-order but they will keep 30% as a royalty fee. Easy site to use but if you get the wrong thing forget about any sensible resolution because the staff seem to be completely incapable of understanding simple English. Would not recommend purely because of inadequate dispute resolution, like most poor companies this is where they fail

Sorry to hear this however as we said on our emails to you, both plans are A3 in size as ordered.

Like other customers who have posted on this site, I highlighted the areas that I needed to print, paid extra for A3 and not only did the map not contain the areas that I had highlighted, but only 1/2 the A3 was printed on anyway, so no point in paying extra for the A3. Customer service desk offered a refund less 30%, Would never use again!

The plan was not correct. The lay-out of the drive entrance, which now serves another house as well, was changed many years ago. Your plan is out of date.

The plan was very small with no road names. It was not accepted by the planning department. I won't be using this site again.

Thanks for the feedback. The plans using Ordnance Survey mapping and depending on the area selected, may not always show a road name, particularly if the area is small or in rural areas. We do however always show a grid reference bottom left. Additionally there is no requirement by planning departments to show road names given they can locate it using the grid reference, Please go back to them and explain.

The plan provided was well out of date and did not meet my requirements. There are buildings on the site that have existed for many years and they do not appear on the plan.

Thanks for the feedback. The mapping is provided by the Ordnance Survey so I'm afraid you'll need to inform them to resurvey your area. Unfortunately all mapping providers use the same source so you'll have the same issue. It may be worth informing the planning department of this issue. Hope this helps.

I purchased 3 no 1250 scale maps invoice id #36749-1. I need to order 1 more to complete the site in question. I need to be able to print the site as 4 A4 sheets. I was disappointed to see your "Buy A plan" logo at the top of each sheet taking up valuable space for my own notes to be added. Also I would have liked to have had the plan placed at the bottom of the A4 sheet. The software available to edit these sheets is time consuming and costly. It would be most appreciated if these plans could be re sent to download taking on board the above. You say that plans start a £9 these plans were £22.80 more than twice the price each and buying 3 made no difference to the cost. So my overall rating for your service is currently not good so will refrain from starring.

Hello Joe Thanks for the response. Just to cover off a few points, yes there is space around the plan including a logo however you'll see that this is normal for plans this price as an entire page of mapping is not needed by most customers and we'd need to charge of unused mapping. If we stretched the mapping to fill an entire A4 sheet it would not be scaled correctly. In terms of pricing, our plans to do start at £9, for the 1:200 scale. Hope this clarifies a few things for you and we appreciated the feedback.

Dear Customer Thanks for the feedback. We did call back but you weren't available. You can contact us by email and 24 hour chat which of course is free. We don't offer a free number however, in common with all other mapping suppliers, but it is local rate. Hope this helps.

Took several attempts to get the order dome. It then didn't come so had to find number with extreme difficulty as it isn't on the contacts list (phoned the OS and got it from them and complained to them). After speaking to you on phone the map turned up. Half a day wasted. It could be my general incompetence at ordering on line but I don't think that was the cause. When I did get the map there isn't a cross referencing scale bar to check the exact scale e.g to check the 1 to 1250 specified by councils. The writing on the sheet stating 'buy a plan' was annoying. People who know what they are doing could remove it but others perhaps not. Thank you. Julian Clokie phone number 07872 306938
