“Not being able to speak to someone if you have a problem is not helpful. I ended up having to buy another plan elsewhere which cost me double the amount. Had I been able to speak to someone this would have been avoided. Even an online chat would have helped.”

“Also has issues with not having 2 street names and North arrow. Your excuse is fine, but the planning departments demand them, even though you are a recommemded supplier on the planning portal. Therefore wasted money on having to buy an extra plan”

“Plan was not as seen on screen. Had planning department question boundary as the line was thick on the screen view, but on actual plan was thin and missed the edge of boundary. Far too much money for what you receive.”

Thanks for the message. In some areas it may not be possible to fit on two street names due to the way the Ordnance Survey mapping has been created. This is particularly common in rural areas. Our plans (PDF version only) also show an OS grid reference (an easting and northing) which will help locate the planning office into the exact location thereby negating the need for street names. We recommend contacting your planning office to explain this as the alternative is to manually add a street name on after printing it out.

“Purchased 2 plans but just get screen saying preparing plan - 2 hours later same message. Contact page does not allow you send the form and live chat does not work. I have added me name so they may contact me but will not hold my breath- terrible service”

Sorry about that. Paypal has had issues with processing payments which affects our system completing orders. The issues are resolved now.

“worst telephone support ever. after having to go on a google search to find a contact number. called them and got redirected to an automated line. after multiple options to go through, the "hold your line to speak to a representative" forwards you to a dead line. Line drops. Complete piss-take, waste of time, waste of money”

“When manually putting lines on for a site plan , when finished product sent the lines were not on. I tried this twice, both times were the same. When you reach the payment page, no review of plan is possible until you have paid and sent via email”

Hello, thanks for the feedback however the only reason why your plan may not have been to scale would be that the underlying OS mapping. This is very rare and only affects 1 in many thousands of plans and would effect all suppliers that use the same source mapping. The fact you remain anonymous and did not contact us to raise the issue points to this being a false review. Hope this helps.

“The PLANS purchased are NOT to the stated scale. So cannot be used to add any buildings or modifications. But they do not tell you this not sure how the Planners see this error but I see it as a problem.”

Hello, thanks for the response however the plans are to scale. We've been verified by the Planning Portal and the Ordnance Survey. You may have printed the plan out without scaling it to 100% on your printer.

“The plan was not acceptable to Waltham Forest Council because it didn't have a street name on it. I requested a refund from you under your guarantee. You responded that the local authority should have no problem because the plan had grid references etc. I sent you the council's response to that. You ignored me. Your plan was a waste of time and money and your guarantee is a sham.”

Hello Sue, as discussed on the phone and in an email, your council is incorrect in asking for this. The planning authorities do not insist on this, as for example, many places don't show 2 roads for example rural areas or plans covering a very small area like a house. They can find the location from the address shown at the top of the plan and a grid reference at the bottom of the plan. We advised you to go back to the council with this information and if they still insisted on this we would be happy to talk to them directly but you didn't come back to us.

“Having paid a fee for copies of location and block plans which would not download, I think it only reasonable that I should receive these copies in the post, not to have to print them off at further expense. Having used the RED Outline tool, it did not appear on the copies. It may be that I did not press the computer buttons in the correct order but there are no clear directions on the site for the casual user.”

Hello Trevor, thanks for the feedback. We did not get any communication from you regarding your inability to download the plan, in which case we could have easily sent you the plan. All our plans are immediately available to be downloaded and emailed with a link to download it so I'm not sure why you had an issue. We used to post plans on request but very few customers wanted this service as they could easily download our plans. In terms of the redlining, we give clear on screen instructions and help video which it sounds like you missed. I hope this helps you.

“When using the feature that allows red line in the wider plan version no red line appeared. There was no contact detail to chase this up. I have sent it hopefully that planning allow it to progress but if not I will be asking for a credit or refund”

Hello Simon, sorry to hear that. To red line you simply need to click the red pen and then move to where you want to outline ie. the property and click once. Perhaps you missed this step? There are contact details on the contact page. Hope this helps.
