Many thanks for your review. Thankfully our customers are mostly very happy with the service and if you investigate further you will find the OS charge far more for this level of detailed mapping. We are in fact one of the cheapest suppliers of this kind of mapping.

Have had the initial submission sent back as invalid because the boundaries for our property on the plan are incorrect. Have ended up having to print in black and white and adding the boundary by hand

Thanks for your review. It is actually impossible for the system to set the boundaries on it's own without the customer drawing them. In cases where customer error has led to incorrect boundaries being set we are happy to refund 70% of the charge so that the correct version can be ordered.

Quick service, accurate. However ... ridiculously expensive for a sheet of A4 paper. I bought an OS Explorer map for a similar price.

Thanks for your review. If you investigate further you will find the OS charge far more for this level of detailed mapping than OS Explorer. We are in fact one of the cheapest suppliers of this kind of mapping.

I contacted buy a plan for 2 plans, one 1:500 and one 1:1250. The preview was just short of what I needed so I used the chat facility to see if what you saw was what you got as the description was slightly misleading. I asked the specific question, does the A4 print show more than the preview screen and was told categorically Yes. I bought the prints, it didn't. I have complained and asked for a refund and have asked for the Chat to be reviewed to prove what I asked for. I was told I would be contacted in 24 to 48 hours. Nothing. Very poor after service and very disappointed. If the map you need is covered in the preview it would have been good, however it didn't.

The plans I created were returned to me by planning because they were not to scale accurately. It was not possible to accurately draw lines of precise length on your programme, which makes it pretty useless for planning applications. If there is a way, please let me know, because it certainly wasn't obvious.

A very poor experience: the Plan was REJECTED by the Planning Authority as inaccurate as it doesn't show a boundary between curtilage (my garden) and agricultural land ("a paddock") although there is no physical boundary. As you deny any responsibility for mapping errors I've just wasted £25.00 and although I've shown the Planner I don't need to spend £400+ for "change of use" i.e. to a garden due to prior approved application. I have now been sent a list of queries more relevant to a major urban development than a wooden shed (20 x 12 ft) albeit in an AONB e.g. scale plans for all trees and hedges on-site and adjacent properties, drainage etc.

We found it very difficult to measure correctly when line drawing and edit or undo no existent which means we had to print it of without the bit we wanted to show. Rendering the plan useless

I am sorry you found our site difficult to use. It does require accurate input from the customer in terms of drawing the boundaries with the red line. If you have inadvertently drawn incorrect boundaries and received the wrong selection of the map we are happy to refund 70% of the cost to enable you to re order if required.

Complete rip off. Only bought it because the local council insist on it for planning applications, makes me wonder how much commission the planning portal is getting. It's not even an accurate plan.

It does not show you the plan you have outlined before purchasing. As a result the plan I have got is half of what I thought I was buying. Asked for a refund and no reply. Other online plan service has this service. Very disappointed and will not use this company again. I have complained directly and gave option but seem to be happy with me leaving a bad review than resolving the issue! Poor business decision!!

When you contacted our site for support we responded twice, the first time at 2.30pm on August 17th, the second on 12.48am on the 18th. On both occasions we can see that the email was read and so I am sorry that you chose not to follow up the customer support you were being offered.

Whilst the technology to receive the plan was passable, the price is a ripoff, and the plan was inaccurate, transposing the names of adjacent properties. This service should be provided by OS at a fair price, and should be accurate. The insistence of the planning portal that this service be used amounts to collusion between two business entities, especially the requirement to pay for two versions (block plan and site plan) when I only wishes to replace windows.

If the underlying mapping - as provided by the OS - is checked and found to be incorrect (which you suggest when mentioning property names have been transposed) we are happy to provide a 100% refund. Please could you complete the support form on the site giving full details so that we can check but please bear in mind that it is highly unusual for OS maps to be inaccurate.

This was expensive and you delivered a flawed plan. I selected a red outline and clicked in the garden area of a property to highlight the boundary of the whole property. The red outline was omitted where the wall of the house and the boundary coincided. That meant my planning application was rejected by the council planning dept. You plans are touted as ideal for the purpose of planning applications, yet it can deliver a plan that does not comply with the relevant legislation. That is unacceptable and that unacceptability is made worse by the high cost.

Buy a plan claims it takes 5 minutes to create...several days and numerous log in attempts I was told there was a n issue with the site.

Very poor service. I made a mistake on the plan as l believe the instructions are not clear. I contacted your customer service, they said you would contact me but that never happened. Will never use your services again

uncontactable. No telephone number for when things go wrong. If you do manage to dig it out its just a lady who takes a message to then email them. Literally no help at all. Do not reply to emails. Do not use.

When a customer has made an error with the red line boundaries and receives an incorrect selection we are happy to refund 70% of the cost so that they may re order the correct selection. If the underlying mapping from the OS is incorrect (which is rarely the case), we will provide a 100% refund.

Afternoon, I was made to purchase a plan from you for a raised decking project as you were an approved provider for Devon Council. I found your maps to be out dated as it didn’t show my neighbours house, but instead showed the garage which it replaced many years ago. Do you regularly update maps from land registry? When I did try and map out the proposed build area your tools were basic and I was unable to show the curve in my deck design. When the map was purchased the red lines I had positioned to demonstrate my boundary had jumped and now showed my proposed build would include part of my other neighbours garden. I deal with map and scale drawings everyday as part of my work and ended up using my own Geofield utility maps to accurately produce a location map which has now satisfied the council building inspector. I have found your whole service to be a waste of time and money.

Your service is fine however every time we submit your plan the planning dept's want something altering on the location or site plan so going forward i need to buy the dwg file The planning departments and individual officers vary so much the plan never seems right 1st time.

Whilst the plans for planning are great there is no point me buying a plan from BUYAPLAN when they are actively cutting my throat by advertising Low Cost Architectural Drawings, Saving customers up to £3000 Much cheaper than a local Architect. Wont be buying any more plans form Buyaplan till they get their house in order George

The website is confusing and difficult to use, I requested a red outline on the block plan (the option was selected) but had to pay first before I could see the plan layout and when received the red outline was not there, but instructions to print out and use a red pen!!!! Very poor for the charge of c£25 - I dont usually say things like this, but it is a complete rip off, you cannot submit a planning application without a location plan, and the quality of the product is very poor for the charge you apply
