“I bought a Location plan 1:2500 scale, the capture rectangle would not encompass the whole site consequently a corner of the boundary was cropped off leading to disqualification of the plan by the Local Authority. There is no phone number on the website to talk to anyone so I gave up on Buyaplan and ordered from UK mapping centre, no problems encountered the plan with its full boundaries was readily accepted I consider the £90 odd pounds paid to Buyaplan a complete waste of money and advise any one to consider other suppliers unless your site is small domestic and simple, I will not use again”

“The plan provided did not include the red outline I had drawn and saved. I think this was due to either i) technical issue with completing this process on my iPad ii) unclear instructions at the point of preview and ordering. I will not be using the site again.”

“I was very disappointed in the plan I ordered as a site plan for a business centre as although the plan was supposed to be A4 size and the printer was set to !00% the actual plan was very small and took up only half of the A4 paper and was therefore useless.”

Dear Diana, thank you for your feedback. The plan should cover an entire sheet of A4 if printed at 100% size. The map portion however is only a portion of this otherwise the scale would not be correct. We also need to display copyright information, location and licence details. “complete waste of time . i didnt manage to get a plan and you still charged me for 1. no refund was sent as yet. i would not recommend you to anyone with this in mind i just feel ripped off”

“The scale of the site plan and location plans written in the footings are not in synch with the scale motif/sticker on the drawing. Both plans have been rejected by the planning validation team of the Council. They cost me over £70,. Very disappointed.”

“Im not happy as you locked me out of your site for spending too much time looking for my plan. This is even though I buy probably 3 sets of plans from you per month. I am still waiting to be let back in and in the mean time this costs me time and money. terrible customer care”

“Initially the property was not shown on the plan as the plan printed with a wide margin down the left side. Eventually I managed to print it but the size of the plan left a wide margin at the bottom. I am still awaiting word from the planners,”

Thanks for the response however many other suppliers do not even show the map you actually get. I hope this helps.

“Not a great first experience. I bought a plan where I had added a red polyline, which I assumed was to crop the plan. This ended up to be a red line not on a separate layer, so ruined my purchase. I accept this was my mistake, but have used other OS suppliers before and thought it behaved the same. After all I can add my own boundary lines. I immediately contacted support as the plan was no use and was told I could order it again, and would be refunded the original less 30% for Ordnance Survey. As a gesture of goodwill I'd have thought they could have done better. I haven't bothered as I did not want to pay for another that would be costing me 30% more overall.”

“Instructions are poor - so the likelihood of achieving success at one’s first attempt is low. I received, in consequence, a plan of a neighbour’s property. Exercise care and don’t assume that the whole area you’ve just seen and to which you’ve clicked acceptance is the area that’ll come in the plan you receive.”

Good evening I am sorry to hear you have had difficulties using our site, the majority of our customers have a very positive experience. It is impossible for the system to define the borders of a map without customer input, or to supply an incorrect finished map to a customer without them ordering it. If an error has been made during the ordering process we are happy to offer a 70% refund of the fee paid so that the correct map can be re ordered. “Very unhappy . Having purchased the plan and submitted it with our application Southend planning authority rejected it. The red line was placed around the edge of the house rather than border of the property. Are they wrong or is it that you a charging for a service and do not understand the necessary regulations?”

Thank you for your review and we are sorry to hear you did not get the plan you required. Thankfully the majority of our customers are very happy with the service. It would be impossible for the system to draw the boundaries without the customer's input. We make alot of effort to describe how to use the system correctly on the site and welcome input to improve it further. When customer error has resulted in an incorrect selection being made we are happy to refund 70% of the cost of the plan so that the correct selection can be re ordered. Thankyou for your review and we were sorry you were not able to master the tools on our site. Thankfully the majority of our users are happy with the service which offers much more affordable mapping than the OS for the level of detail. When a customer error results in them receiving an incorrect map we do offer a 70% refund if they reorder. Finally we take feedback seriously and are constantly striving to make the site user friendly with instructional videos etc available on the site.

“Kind of ridiculous that we are required to supply a plan that you charge £12 for when it's just a .pdf download that essentially is just a drawing of a rectangle that supposedly represents my house. If I'd known I could have made one myself in about 3 mins. Quicker than it took to navigate your website.”

Many thanks for your review, we take all comments on board. Thankfully the majority of our customers are happy with our product which is competitively priced in comparison with the Ordinance Survey who charge more for this level of mapping.
