I ended up buying three plans and I asked repeatedly for help. The online chat promised up get someone to call me buy this never happened. I ended up spending three times the money and was never offered any support.

I logged on to buy plan, spent an hour trying to find a way to buy a plan but just get told I've used up all my free views I JUST WANT TO BUY A PLAN

In my response to my previous review the following response was posted "Thanks for this. The site will only send you the area you've previewed prior to clicking the Buy Now button. Perhaps you had added another area in your basket?" this was not the case and I did explain this and send a video to the support team who despite an initial quick response have not replied after three chases. All that said it was a really quick service and payment was easy, but I didn't get what I paid for and am now being ignored by the support team. Updated as requested 08/07/2020 - I did receive a reply and a refund which was dealt with quickly on 9 June. I also quickly responded on 9 June sending chase emails on 11th, 14th and 19th June to which I have had no reply. On the 11th June I sent a video recording of the second order I placed showing that the website has a fault it is these emails that have been ignored so I am not able to revise the review as the facts are all still true.

Hello Liam, we did respond on June 8th with an offer a refund if you reordered the correct area and have heard nothing back from you.

The plan produced on the website was not the one produced in the pdf. I have emailed about this and chased but still not had a response.

Very badly designed website and hard to use. I can use AutoCAD but even then I found your website is hard to use. Would not recommend this website to any one. My plan was rejected by the Planning Authority that I sent the plan to and I had to get one from another website.

Thanks for the anonymous feedback. Checking your details it appears you did not contact our customer support about this which means we cannot assist. The only reason a plan is rejected would be that you red lined the wrong area, in which case we would refund and allow you to order again to rectify your mistake. Our site is also regularly praised for its ease of use as it is one of the few to show you the same mapping that is delivered in the order.

The red line to the property shown on your block plan was wrong, two major mistakes, so much so the planning department refused to accept it till modifications were made.

Hi Steve, sorry to hear that but it is the customer that adds the red line so I'm sorry you made the mistake but we do not know which is your property boundary. In this case we offer a refund so you could have rectified the issue. Hope this helps.

Very expensive, you pay twice for near enough the same thing. Very complicated and hard to use. Not very good

Rubbish really, all you buy is a copy of the site plan that's already on your deeds and then you cant delineate the boundary properly, in my case the house and garden were seperate boxes. The plan was rejected by the council and I had to use image editing software to make it comply.

I order A3 and the printout was messy. It doesn't have the cardinal points or scale as required by planning. It stated a different cost compared to what I ended up paying

Hello Susanna, thanks for the feedback however all plans in pdf have a scale bar below the plan and a cardinal point (north point) top left. Hope this helps.

Cant believe you charge so much for these plans, you don't have to do anything, not even provide the paper on which to print the plan!

I have been using this service for about a year. Recently I recieved the wrong maps , They ignored my requests for the correct maps. Going back to street wise.

Hello Paul, sorry to hear that. Looking back at the conversation our support team had with you, you mistakenly saved the block plan on to the location plan so you felt you had 2 x block plans. We resent you the location plan on March 17th and did not hear back so assumed all was well. So in summary you successfully received a block and location plan as ordered. Hope this helps.

The plan was rejected by the planning authority because it drew the red line around the site and also the small parcels within it that made up the garage. There was no way to amend it, so it was a waste of money.

Hello Andrew, sorry to hear that. The red lines were added by you and if they were on the wrong property then unfortunately we cannot be responsible for that. We do offer a 70% refund in this case but you haven't contacted us.

worse site ever bought a plan didn't even have the correct information on emailed was told to buy another plan wouldn't refund so now out of pocket AVOID AT ALL.COSTS

My partner and I both purchased plans for our plot. Neither of us could download it despite using different computer and laptops. I contacted BUYAPLAN and after numerous automated emails i received an answer saying that the payments had been interrupted and they will be refunded. I would have to order a plan again. I have received no refund no plan and no responses for none of my further emails or online enquiries forms regarding the refund. They were happy to take the money but no plans or assistance offered. DO NOT USE!

The location plan I bought from Buy A Plan was rejected by my local council (Inverclyde) for not being accurate, rather than helping, this is now delaying planning, thanks a bunch Buy A Plan!

Plans are available in JPG only, if you work in design and print forget quality, plans will be pixelated. Not buying again from this company.

I bought a plan, but what I received was not as described. The red outlining of the appropriate areas were not included on the plan and therefore the plan was useless for my planning application. I instead chose to buy from a competitor.

Hello, thanks for the feedback however you did not add redline your plan and therefore it was not usable for planning. As instructed on the site you need to redline your property for it to be used for a planning application, however we did provide a refund for you. Much appreciated.

The company gives an option as to which format the plans are in - the Drawing format is unacceptable to any planning authority and un-openable to the customer. Getting the drawings in an acceptable format has not been possible though the company has said its 'engineers' are looking into it. I have paid the fee and there is no way to contact the company except by email to which replies are just unsatisfactory. I am still waiting for a resolution after a month. Why an unusable format should be offered without due warning? It is a user unfriendly service. So watch which buttons you push. So I am still complaining… I have not found a phone number to contact or live chat.

The map is out of focus and although I clicked the link directly from the east Suffolk online planning permission application form it was nothing short of a complete nightmare to get whatever I ended up actually getting. They specified what they wanted and I even paid a tenner for it! Only to be told by that useless lot it won’t be accepted so thanks for wasting my time and money

Sorry to hear that. We had no contact from you so couldn't help you. The plans are 100% compliant so long as you mark the property correctly, which of course we cannot have control over.
